Beautiful and inspirational collection of poems organized to create a theme every day to encourage introspective thought. The idea is simplistic in that you can find joy in everyday life. The author writes a more detailed explanation of how she came to create this piece and how she finds joy for herself.

I checked this book out from the library on a 10 day loan and really feel like this is best as a purchased book to keep on your night table. Read one day at a time and really think about what each poem says to you and then go see what joy the day has for you.

This is a joyful collection of poetry, full of beautiful sentiments and is set over 28 days with 2 poems a day for you to enjoy and it just reminds you to find the little pieces of goodness in the world - not an easy thing nowadays.

The author was inspired to write this when cancer hit her, and it covers subjects such as nature, family, home and wise words so there really is something for everyone. The kind of words that just make the world a nicer place!! Some of my favourites were 'Being a girl', Honestly, I wish you time and Accept.

Poems to help take stock of your busy life and keep a diary on finding things to be happy ( or joyful) every day for 28 days. They say if you do something consistently for 28 days it becomes a habit. So by focusing on 28 days of finding joy, it should become a daily routine for life. I’ve read many books like this before. Simplistic but getting great publicity .

This was a lovely heartfelt collection of poems that truly do celebrate the small joys in every day life. Reading these helped me to look for more joy in my own life and I could feel the author's love and empathy through her words, even for the strangers reading along. I have a few favorites I've bookmarked in particular.

A lovely premise which now affects my approach to the mundanities of everyday life. Gratitude, joy, love and a little fizzle of magic are all around us when we look hard enough ❤️

Didn’t realise it was poetry. Thought it would include steps to find joy in life and nature!
