Protecting Her Became His Job...and His Obession

Dr. Meg Corning detested the way Erik Falco stormed the halls of Boston General Hospital as if he owned the place. The fallen-cop-turned-ruthless-businessman was throwing his weight around in his bid to gain control of her breakthrough medical technology. But putting this sexy stranger in his place seemed impossible once he swooped to the rescue during a series of mysterious "accidents."

Before long, the explosive heat between them set off a chain reaction of pleasure and pain that nearly immobilized her. After Falco made a heart-stopping move to keep her safe, the data-obsessed doc knew it was time to analyze his true motives - and her own traitorous desires. Could they forge a bond of trust in time to outsmart a cold-blooded killer?

Jessica S. Andersen is an American writer of mystery and medical romances. She obtained a PhD in Genetics, but when she finally settles on a single career, she will have been many things: a doctor of molecular genetics, a patent agent, a freelance editor, a professional horse trainer and riding coach, a fiance and the proud owner of a pair of corgis. But if you ask her who she is, Jessica will say, "I'm a writer. The rest is all background research."

Jessica lives in a smal farm in eastern Conneticut with her own personal hero, Brian, as well as the corgis, two cats and a handful of young horses, who she claims are investments but never seem to get sold.

Number Seven in the Boston General series is a steamy, action packed pocket rocket. If drama and romance Is your thing then this series is one for you. Every one of the stories in the series is unique with a link running throughout.

Our main leading man In this book has a touch of vulnerability, switching things up a bit and actually its refreshing for a romance to have a character that Isn’t so practically perfect in every way. These Intrigue novels can be a bit clichéd and far fetched but actually I really enjoyed this one. I mean, this hospital has the worst bad luck imaginable! Is there any lab left at this stage?

I’m looking forward to where we go with the next one. I’m enjoying learning a bit about the medical laboratory side of things too!
