As Kevin starts to get his life back on track and begins to develop feelings for Stephanie, another setback occurs when his Uncle Thad dies and wills the medical practice in LA to him. Forced to return to LA, he leaves Stephanie behind to continue her journey of healing without him. Will Kevin ultimately choose to stay in LA to take over his uncle’s lucrative practice or will he sacrifice everything to be with the woman he loves?
Stephanie Knight follows through with her commitment to help Kevin rise above the debilitating depression that keeps him prisoner. As she succeeds in getting Kevin to see there is hope for a better future and to trust God with the direction for his life, she can’t help but find herself falling in love with him. But when Stephanie finds out that Kevin must return to LA to help his aunt cope with the loss of her husband, she can’t help but feel disappointment at the loss of another important person in her life. Sacrificing her own needs, Stephanie submits her desires to God and encourages Kevin to explore the opportunity God has blessed him with. Will Stephanie wait patiently for God to bring Kevin back to Mendocino someday? Or will she move on with her life?

What a beautiful story!
I read book 1 of this 2 book novel series and loved both of them. The storyline was very touching and I love Christian romance novels. These books came together nicely - first time reading this author - and I highly recommend!

Decent story , but without a good editor.
The story line was decent. The editing mistakes were crazy...names were changed/then back again, grammar issues. A little heavy on repeated stuff at times.
Overall, a good read.

Simply wonderful.
Kelsey MacBride is an excellent writer. It’s so refreshing to find a romance novel that uplifting and inspirational. A must read and hard to put down. Love that God is lifted up throughout the storyline and the story is clean and leaves your in a good place.

Super great Christian Clean Romance
This is one of those books you cannot put down once you started it. It's also good for anyone who has lost a child (no matter their age) or a close family member. Thank you Kelsey McBride for your wonderful work.

The book was really good but had to purchase it because the story of the first book wasn't finished. A very tricky way to get someone to buy these books. Disappointed
