I liked the story but as a Scot the attempt to add the little language idiosyncrasies grated on my nerves. I did not see the need for it. We all speak the same language and these attempts to talk “Scottish” were irritating. I felt the sister-in-law and her child added nothing to the storyline at all. She was not a nice character and it seemed more like a filling out of the story. Not one of my favourites.
I loved how Anna tried to be stubborn about keeping her home. Loved her ideas! Jeremy didn't know what he was getting into with Anna but he was determined to keep her without certain ties to him. Fate fixed that and it made a great story
This book was all over the place until it wasn't! The twists and turns were excellent and the erotic interludes were HOT! So, a little bit of everything! Enjoy this story!
