Green means go, and everyone was on go from the start of this book! Let me start with my girl Calia and how she got the last laugh! From the moment she handled Rio’s “get back situation” to finally forgiving herself and living by a new set of “Rules” 🤭. My girl transformed, and Rio had no choice but to watch her blossom and see how he could not get left behind. Now to Irish and Noble what a journey! With Jovanis' confirmation, this should have been a cake walk for Irish, but it ended up with more tests and trials than I think either of them was prepared for. Irish conquering her grief while standing firm against a man playing with her was so good to read. Noble made poor choices but was quick to course correct! Irish was it for him, and he wasn't letting up! That twist gave, and Tuck (and his accomplice) got what he deserved! Now let me say this, the ending/epilogue confirmed my thoughts on who Ivory's abortion BD was. However, that ending has me ultra confused! Now, what I will say is that Charae is so good at setting up a scene and story to make you feel like you're against it, but then flip it on you. The door is wide open on Ivory’s story, and I'm curious and hopeful that Charae comes back to this character!
I gotta be honest, I was sad about Van. I was hoping for a different outcome for him.
I wanted more of Cali and Rio 😩 I’m a sucker for their kind of storyline.
I was so surprised of who was out to get Noble because wtf. I did not see that coming at all, and I love when a book can genuinely catch me off guard like that.
Overall, I’m really happy with how this book turned out. It had me locked in from start to finish. So much was happening, but it never felt like too much, and everything just flowed and kept me hooked. The drama, the tension, the twist 🤏🏾.
SN - Why I feel like Charae got something up a sleeve from that ending 👀.
The finale to the Stoplight series was everything!! I knew after book one this series was special. It takes a lot of skill to take two completely different storylines and merge them into a story that is engaging for three books. Green is universal for “go” and it was truly all gas, no breaks the whole book! Noble was on a mission, Turk was losing his marbles, and Cali and Irish’s friendship was stronger than ever. I will say, my love for Rio never faded and the way he was beside himself for Cali?! My boy wanted that old thing back, lol!😝 The drama and twists were top tier! I would have never guessed who the opp was but chileee color me shocked! I would have liked more of Rio and Cali on page but that’s the selfish part of me, lol! I was swooning so bad! I lowkey hope there’s more because clearly little Ms. Ivory has something to say! 👀this was another banger from Charae!
THIS is how you write a series. THIS is how you do plot twists. THIS is how you execute a love triangle.
👏🏾👏🏾 LET’S GOOOO!!
Book 3 picks up right where book 2 left off and baby… y’all know green means GO.
And when I say this book was full gas, no brakes?? I ate it ALL the way up.
Let’s start with my girl Irish.
She had a LOT to carry this round, and I’m honestly so proud of how she handled everything. Watching her navigate such an emotional and difficult journey while still holding onto herself?? Yeah… that was beautiful to see.
And I really loved seeing her bond with Cali and Ivory grow stronger. Because when life starts life-ing, having women in your corner who genuinely have your back?? That’s everything.
She wasn’t just supported by her girls either — Noble stayed right there, ten toes down behind her.
Now… we all know men don’t always make the best decisions 🙄 and Noble definitely had a moment where his judgment was a little off. BUT — I will give him his credit — he course corrected, took accountability, and moved forward the right way.
And that’s all I really needed from him.
Because I love me some Mr. St. Anthony 😮💨
Now let’s get into Cali and Rio…
😮💨😮💨
These two??? BABY.
I was eating ALL their mess right up. I’m not even gonna lie.
After everything Rio pulled, I didn’t know how he was going to come back from that. But one thing I did know? Cali was going to make him feel it.
And she did exactly that.
I LOVED watching her boss up and stand in her power. And that ass whooping she handed out?? 🙂↕️
Yeah… I felt like it was a tag team match because I definitely got a few virtual hits in myself 😂😂
Now one thing I really appreciated — Charae did NOT have Cali out here moving on with no weak man.
No ma’am.
She introduced her to a REAL man. Someone who actually felt like competition and not just a placeholder we knew wouldn’t last. Even though we knew what the endgame was, it was still nice seeing two alpha men go head-to-head.
And let’s talk about Rule real quick — because that man was NOT impressed with Rio AT ALL… and I was eating that scene UP.
The tension?? The energy?? Yeah… give me more of that every time.
Overall, this series was just… SO GOOD.
I don’t even know how many ways I can say it, but Charae really did her thing with this one. It takes a special kind of writer to juggle this many characters, storylines, and plot twists and still make everything feel cohesive and intentional.
Nothing felt thrown together. Everything had purpose.
And that ending???
👀👀👀
Yeah… I need Charae in the lab IMMEDIATELY because Ivory has found herself in a situation, okay??
And Wilde been waiting in the wings for THREE YEARS?? 😂😂
Oh yeah… it’s about to get interesting.
I’m already seated and ready to see how this unfolds.
Book: Stoplight Book Three Author: Charae Lewis Genre: Urban Fiction Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🥵🥵🥵🥵
I need to call Ms. Charae to the front of the class. They way left no crumbs, geesh. Alright, let me get this out of the way. Ivory is going to need a story, so I hope you're ready. Okay, to the program, let's start with Rio and Cali since their happily ever after had to go to hell first. Cali had to get active because Rio was really playing in her face. He eventually self-corrected, and his secret had me like, "Wow, that's what we're doing." Ultimately, both had to own their part in the demise of their marriage. Irish and Noble had a little bump, but Noble doesn't play about his Pumpkin, so they got it right. I also have to speak on the beautiful ride-or-die friendship between Irish and Cali. In book one, they kept secrets from one another, and when they blew up in their face, both women didn't judge and supported one another. Don't get me wrong, they held each other accountable but led with love. Lastly, Enya, Cali's older but judgmental sister, had a big taste of that karma. I tried to sympathize, but that lady doesn't leave much to be desired. Great series about friendship, love, betrayal, forgiveness, and more.
This book was entertaining, chaotic, and frustrating all at the same time.
The biggest issue for me was pacing. This author has a habit of waiting until the 19th hour to blow everything up, and that happened again here. By this point, we already understood the plot, the characters, and the mess. I needed reveals and fallout sooner. Once things finally started popping off, it was definitely drama everywhere. Deaths, secrets, betrayals, revenge, pregnancies, paternity reveals, all of it. So I can’t say I was bored. But when too much gets packed into the final stretch, some moments lose impact and some storylines never get cleaned up properly.
I’m still confused on certain loose ends, especially Vic and Nuke. They were built up like they mattered, then it felt like nothing really came from it.
That said, I was entertained and I did want to know how it all ended. The series had strong characters and enough chaos to keep me reading. Overall, a solid ending to a messy ride, but the pacing kept it from being a full 5 for me.
Stoplight III delivered what it was supposed to for a series finale. The author did an amazing job with each book by giving just enough to keep us engaged at every level of the Stoplight. The green light was a go for these characters to literally go all out from relationship woes, new beginnings, and elimination of enemies. I loved the growth between Irish, Noble, and especially Cali and Rio. This story gives you a bit of messy drama, rocky relationships and how these characters pull through with a satisfying ending.
This last installment was full of surprises. I’m sooo glad that Cali dog walked Roz. She had been plotting on Cali to get Rio. But Rio was petty for even going there. There is so much I wanna say but don’t want to spoil it, but what I do know is that Nobel don’t play about his Pumpkin. The plot twist snatched my edges. The ending is so messy, lol. Hopefully we get into Ivory’s story. Great series!!
This series was the bomb dot com! I read all three books in under 24 hours and I am amazed, speechless and know that I need to know what Ivory gonna do! Charae is a master storyteller and this story sucked me in and I couldn’t rest until I knew how it ended. That’s a talent! This series is 100% worth every minute spent in the pages of drama, secrets and betrayals you don’t see coming!
Stoplight number three. All three series were very good. Irish and noble have a Unique love story, like no other. Both went to some Heineken pain. I kind of knew it was nobles, babies mother that was trying to kill him because he’s so bitter. Thank God he knew now he’s content happy and in peace with Irish.. Now is Irish, since the ivory love story comes and ends too can’t wait for this chapter
This book wrapped the series up so well. From the very first page, I was locked in and could not put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I really loved the development between Cali and Rio. I wasn’t rooting for them at first, but after that conversation? Oh, I was all in.
And that plot twist?? I did NOT see that coming at all.
Overall, I really enjoyed all three books, and I’ll definitely be diving deeper into Charae’s catalog.
I finished all three books in 2 days. From start to finish the book was great. I laughed, cried and smiled until my cheeks hurt reading this book. Both couples had such complex and complicated stories. The way charae navigated them back to each other was amazing. Very raw and real emotions from the each couple. Rio and calia were my favorite, man they had such a journey. I loved Irish and noble as well.

If only yall knew how much I’ve gotten on Rae nerves about this series! She had me messed up with the beginning but I know it needed to happen. (Or did it 🤔) anywho I absolutely loved the growth between Cali and Rio and that Enya got her karma. I just loved how Noble wasn’t going when it came to his Pumpkin! Also it’s forever fck Shay and Tuck. Okay byeeee!
This was such an amazing series from beginning to end. I was completely locked in. I loved how every character was written and how everything that happened felt necessary for the story to unfold the way it did. Each character pulled a different emotion out of me. Charae never misses!
Yessss this was the perfect ending! I loved every bit of this whole series. I was very satisfied with both endings. Cali and Rio kept my blood pressure up. But they got it together. Noble and Irish were just meant to be. I loved it. I can’t wait to read Ivory’s story. Two brothers?? It’s gonna be a mess.
The series was good!!! I hope we getting a spin off or something 👀
At first I didn’t care for Cali in the beginning but I like how things came to light between her and Rio. They both made mistakes. I love there story line.
I see where this one is going. So I guess we will have book 4. Charae better stop playing with me.. I enjoyed this story. I need to an ending fitting for all this drama. Respectful... I am still here... for now.
My first read by Charae Lewis and it definitely won’t be my last. I ate this whole series up!!! From book 1 the twist and turns and the messiness. I enjoyed it all.
Accountability goes far when you are looking for reconciliation in rebuilding trust. Therapy helps when you need to work through emotions or building boundaries.
Your jaw is going to hit the floor with Lewis hitter.
I enjoyed this series a lot. There was enough drama to keep me I interested along with enough cliffhangers and surprises. The ending has me hoping to see a spin off for Ivory, Wild and Zayde.
This series had me on edge! Charae did her thing per usual. The ending had me wanting more but listen it had just enough love, drama, forgiveness, twist and turns! I love it. If Ivory get her own lil spin off I wouldn’t be mad.
Highly recommend. I enjoyed reading my first series from Charae Lewis. I definitely did not expect the plot twist at the end. I am going to go back and read more titles from this author.
Sis don't miss!! I can't even put in words how drawn in this author will have you in her world! The plot twists and everything in between will make you feel like you on a roller-coaster ride! Now I'm waiting to see how this finnna play out with Ivory cuz what!! 👀 👀
How do you do it? These books were so goooddddd, from the first one to the last one, the curve balls was really curving and I lived for every minute of it,I can see some mess coming from ivory and Wilde and zayd lol
I enjoyed this series! The characters were all beautifully broken. The author was able to to put them all back together again to create a beautiful story of trauma and tragedy to triumph!
The plot twists was really good. Charae you got me. I really didn't see that coming. No way I add some suspicions that was not one of them. Now we need Ivory's Story thank you.
Oh Babyyyyyy!!!! Finished the series in 3 days. In love with every damn character. But Noble baby was everything. I can't wait to read the series. Baby I got to have more of Wilde.
Make this series a movie, please and thank you!!! I was happy, sad, mad and everything in between! I was literally crying in book 2 Lord, my emotions... Yeah read it! Just read this series!
