Keon “Knuck” Jones bullied his way into Nyomi’s heart then put a baby in her and a rock on her finger. Now engaged with an infant son, she craves a floor-to-ceiling-flowers, R&B-playing, Springtime ceremony. Meanwhile, Knuck wants the exact a courthouse wedding followed by bending his bride over the nearest surface, reminding her whose last name she moans.
While Nyomi juggles postpartum life and her booming lash empire, Knuck juggles luxury car dealerships and the kind of street ties that never truly die. It’s emotional and chaotic and their only constant is the bedroom where arguments end with promises in the form of orgasms. And when an OG from the past comes looking for trouble, wedding colors turn blood red overnight.
Between planning a wedding and finding a common ground, Knuck and Nyomi have to decide if their type of loud and messy love is really worth forever.
heroine does too much, like damn if u don’t want your man to help you unwind dine and relax, let me have him bc that’s every girl’s dream. take care of me spend money on me, but fighting over a lil thing is exaggerating af on everything with the back n forth bs.
Rating 3.75 ⭐️ Knuck 🫣 Whew that man is a category all by himself. Keepin’ Up With The Joneses: Let’s Get Married is loud, chaotic and full of the kind of love that will have you side eyeing and smiling at the same time.
Nyomi sis imma hold your hand but let’s be real. You knew that man was not wrapped tight. Knuck didn’t switch up, he stayed EXACTLY who he was from day one. So watching her be shocked by his behavior had me like girl stand up or strap in.
Knuck should teach a class called Certified crashout. Listen that man is obsessed in a way that’s equal parts aww and you need to calm down immediately. He loves hard, protects hard and reacts even harder. Definitely my favorite kind of problem from a safe distance.
What I liked most is that their love isn’t polished. It’s messy, passionate and sometimes overwhelming. Between postpartum emotions, building a business, street ties and wedding planning it’s a lot. Instead of pretending it’s perfect, the story leans right into the chaos. At the end of the day, it really makes you question is loud, all consuming love sustainable long term? Or does it burn out just as fast as it ignites? Either way Knuck and Ny gonna do it THEIR way. Honestly I couldn’t look away. To Knuck and Ny 🥂

A Masterclass in Urban Romance and High-Stakes Unhinged Romance
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thee Tasha Marie has done it again! Keepin' Up With The Joneses: Let’s Get Married is a breathtaking addition to the genre that perfectly balances the glitz and glamour of a high-status lifestyle with the raw, emotional reality of building a future together.
From the very first page, the atmosphere is electric. The author expertly navigates the complexities of the "Jones" family name, proving that while maintaining an image of perfection is hard, maintaining a real connection is even harder. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable—it’s intense, protective, and deeply grounded in a way that makes you root for them through every obstacle.
Why This is a Must-Read:
The Aesthetic: The "iced-out" luxury isn’t just for show; it’s woven into the plot in a way that adds real weight to the characters' choices.
The Stakes: The "Let’s Get Married" subtitle isn't just a teaser. The commitment issues, family expectations, and external pressures make the journey to the altar feel like a high-stakes mission.
The Pacing: As expected from a best-selling author, the rhythm of the story is flawless. There’s never a dull moment, with just enough drama to keep you turning pages late into the night.
If you’re looking for a story that combines "street-glam" with a heavy dose of heart and soul, this is it. Thee Tasha Marie continues to set the bar high for contemporary urban romance. Clear your schedule, because once you start this, you won’t want to put it down.
Knuck was a certified crash-out who really learned how to love. It gave ratchet and classy with all the feels, like chaos wrapped in commitment. Their story felt real, no filters, just raw emotions and decisions that actually meant something.
Knuck stayed unapologetically himself, but what stood out was how he knew when to shift gears. He could apply pressure one minute and soften up the next without losing who he was. And when he crashed out like he ain’t already warned Nyomi? I was crying laughing 😭 because she already knew his playbook. At that point, all she could do was shake her head and accept it.
Their connection had that Mr. & Mrs. Jones energy, straight out of Me and Mrs. Jones… that “we got a thing going on” kind of love that pulls you back in every time. Messy at moments, but never weak. The bond stayed solid, built on tension, loyalty, and that undeniable pull between them.
And let’s be real… if Knuck and Nyomi mastered anything, it was each other. Every time. That chemistry never missed, just added another layer to why they couldn’t stay away.
Nyomi deserved that kind of love, and watching Knuck step up proved it. He wasn’t just talking, he was moving different, showing how love will really straighten you out for the one that’s worth it.
That wedding? Yeah… that sealed everything 💍✨ From crash-out energy to standing ten toes in love… they made it make sense.
In this book, you really get to see a different side of Knuck. At first, I was actually getting flashbacks to a toxic relationship I used to be in, and I found myself feeling so sad for Ny….But the author really softened him up and allowed him to grow as the story went on. It went from toxicity to him recognizing that he needed to make real changes to keep his relationship and his future marriage. Ny also realized she needed some emotional help, and I loved how Knuck supported her through that. Fatherhood and motherhood looked so good on both of them; they really stood ten toes behind each other. And… let me tell you… I felt every piece of those sex scenes! LOL! Thee Tasha Marie’s writing style has a way of making you feel like you’re right there in the book; you feel every single emotion. I’m sad to see Knuck and Ny’s story end, but this was the perfect wrap-up to a fast-paced, ghetto love affair.
This book was a good continuation of the first book and Knuck still didn’t play about Nyomi. At times he was over the top especially at the restaurant with the wedding planner but he toned it down a few notches so he wouldn’t lose his family. Only Nyomi and Lil-Knuck got to experience his softer side. I like how the book hit on postpartum issues and highlighted the help that is available and that it’s okay to seek help and guidance. I like that they came to terms for them both to have the wedding that they both wanted. It’s sad that Coogs had to learn the hard way that Knuck was no way soft when it came to them streets but he just moved smarter because he had more to lose now. I like that it wasn’t long drawn out and over written. The actual wedding was so beautiful and the vows were heartwarming. Hopefully we’ll get a book about Keema to see what she has going on.
Knuck was ready to get married. What is old saying goes Happy Life, Happy Wife. Knuck talked all that junk and ended up giving Nyomi the wedding of her dreams. Nyomi flipped when the chick came for the interview for the nanny position. Knuck felt how Nyomi is feeling when he crashes out. She had a valid reason for her crash out. Nyomi has postpartum depression or related issues. And Knuck being a good fiance to her go to doctor, but it came out wrong. That situation with Coogs, he handled that, because he was coming at Nyomi and their son sideways. Nyomi wouldn't know what to do if it wasn't for her girls. Their wedding was beautiful. Knuck did calm down only a little bit.
This girl done let Knuck knock her up and propose to her at the baby shower. Now, we're getting married with a 3 month old baby boy.
She wants a wedding wedding, Knuck wants to get married like TODAY. Her bougie momma wants all the lavishness. Knuck is butting heads with both of them and his jealously and rage anytime he sees her with another man, regardless of who the man is, is so over the top.
Nyomi is dealing with postpartum but doesn't recognize the signs. Knuck is trying to take everything off her plate so she can heal and relax but she refuses.
The tension is thick in their home but eventually they get through it.
I enjoyed this deeper dive into their unconventional romance and blended family.
I just finished reading the latest book, and I *had* to share my thoughts with you! I thought the first installment was great, but wow, the second part truly surpassed all my expectations – it was even more phenomenal. This whole story was just so wonderfully crafted and genuinely beautiful. It really shone a light on some important topics, particularly with its insightful take on postpartum awareness. Plus, it was absolutely overflowing with deep love, unwavering loyalty, and some crash out moments that had me laughing out loud. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough!
I definitely enjoyed this one more than the first. The relationship felt more settled and natural, which made the story easier to get into. Nyomi stepping into motherhood was really cute, and I loved seeing that softer side of her.
Knuck still had moments where he came off a little insecure, which threw me off at times, but I did like seeing his growth—especially how he became more patient, understanding, and supportive, particularly during Naomi’s postpartum experience.
Overall, this was a solid read with good character development and a nice balance of relationship growth and real-life moments.
This was soo worth the wait!! Knuck is a bit extra but the way he loves and care for Nyomi just erases the crazy! 😂 I just discovered the catalog of Thee Tasha Marie late last year , and I’m so very glad I did! I have fallen in love with her storytelling and the characters she creates. I love the growth of the love between Knuck and Nyomi. I love the care and sensitivity that was shown to Nyomi as a new mother struggling to juggle motherhood, her career, and finding herself . Such a great read!!
Knuck & Ny are my babies! I live for a follow up on characters that I love. & this one exceeded every expectation. These two just do it for me. The MCs faced new challenges & disagreements, & I feel like they resolved each conflict the best way they knew how; together. Keon is still unfiltered + unhinged, & Nyomi is still stubborn, but their growth is apparent. I just I love their crazy, messy, real Love! I adorehow they cared for Kassim. Oh & they still REAL NASTY! 🤪
It was the perfect follow up to book one. Knuck is even more unhinged with his son and fiancé and I love it. He was so encouraging and supportive and it was good to see the patient and nurturing side of him. Ny was so open and had no choice but to embrace her new normal and be vulnerable in the hands of the man that loves her down. We often disregard our feelings or downplay them I’m glad it was talked about in here and she was surrounded by love especially after balancing everything around her. 10/10. It was beautiful.
I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a cute quick love story. I read the previous book and it was adorable. The previous book didn’t I have a cliffhanger, but I was happy to hear what their story is like after having the baby.
The wedding was adorable and the unhinged behavior that this man had for his soon to be wife was cute. There was a little drama To spice the book up, but overall, it was a love Story. This relationship was typical soon to be husband and wife day-to-day issues, but they made it to the altar.
I enjoyed this just as much as I did the first book. It's a cute quick love story that's full of spice because one thing Knuck is going to do if give Ny that you better behave dick. The only thing that got on my nerves was Nyomi whining and acting like she didn't know Knuck was a crash- out. He told her several times that he just wanted to be married to her and that he could care less about all the extras Nyomi and her mom were doing. To me Nyomi was more about the show of a wedding, and Knuck just wanted her to be his wife.
Knuck was selfish at first idc idc idc. How you trip off the wedding planner but she can’t trip off the nanny. BFFR. Knuck was a certified crash-out who loved his woman enough to change for the better. Their love felt real, genuine and raw. Every time she called that man Keon I was giggling and reading lol. Keon would go from demon time to applying pressure, to being a porn star lol and gentle within a blink of the eye. Nyomi was my girl and I’m happy she was seen and loved. Their love pulled me back in every time. A few messy moments, a couple of crash outs but they never allowed anything to weaken their foundation. Ny and Keon mastered loving each through every chapter and I loved that.
Keon and Nyomi are new parents and planning a wedding.
Nyomi finds her balancing being a new mom, business, and her emotions. Some of her emotional conflicts involved Knuck and his responses to situations.
Keon is dealing with parenthood and caring for Nyomi. He is stepping in and helping her when he thinks she is doing too much h and not taking care of her physical and mental well-being.
Keon also has to face someone from his past who thinks he deserves to be put on regardless of how much has changed.
Knuck said he wasn’t waiting forever to marry Nyomi and gave our girl a deadline. You want your fairytale wedding, I’ll pay whatever it costs, but you got five weeks! Knuck still crazy, still unhinged, and still soft as cotton for Nyomi. I won’t say she changed him because love isn’t about changing a person to fit your expectations, but loving them unconditionally and meeting them where they are. A fun lead up to the wedding. Carl still won’t leave the edibles alone knowing he can’t handle them.🤣🤣 Happy Reading Y’all!💋
This was a cute read! Knuck was his usual crazy self! He does the absolute most behind Ny every single time! I loved seeing the growth in him & as man & father! The way he was there for Ny to help her navigate being a new mom & dealing with postpartum was everything! He didn’t leave her to drown in it alone he stood 10 toes behind her & let her know he had her back! The countdown to the wedding had me excited & teary eyed cuz them two came a long way! Perfect ending to this series!
Keon aka Knuck is one of my favorite mmc characters. When I say all man, I mean it. Rough around edges, protector, provider, and soft and loving with his family. He was standing ten toes down when it came to Nyomi making sure she was okay and not over doing with work and the baby. He was ready to get married as soon as possible, they care what nobody had to say. They both were a little toxic but they made it work. The ending was beautiful!
Yassss!! Mr. and Mrs. Jones Thanks for this intense conclusion. Ny was pissing me off, but I appreciate you addressing the postpartum. This story was brought to life. Knuck never gone let up bout Ny!! I love the pic shots you include as well as the songs throughout. I actually listened to them as I read it. I felt like I was at the wedding! Ready for the next one!!
If you’re looking for a sugary romance, this ain't it! 🚫 This is for my girls who love grit, spice and a MMC who is absolutely unhinged for his woman. Thee Tasha Marie did not come to play with Book 2.
We are all worthy of a love that is as fierce as Knuck’s and a loyalty that never wavers.
Good, but repetitive. By the time they got to the actual wedding, I was skimming. Working the post partum bit in was interesting, but Nyomi's friends and Knuck's sister trying to spread the blame, like Knuck was even remotely to blame in that baby sitter situation was ridic. Love that they got their happy ending.
From the very beginning I knew this series was gone be a masterpiece and that it was…I fell in love with me some Knuck from day one and all I can say is “my man my man my man” 😜🥵 I love him and my girl Ny together and hope we get an update with that babygirl soon. 🥺💕💕❤️
Your favorite crash out is finally getting married!
I love me some Keon Jones! Knuck said it from the very start and still doesn’t play about Nyomi. This was a spicy feel good book. Knuck and Nyomi went through their version of typical wedding planning/relationship stress and overcame all obstacles. Nyomi got her dream wedding and Knuck got his dream wife. Win win!
I always appreciate when the authors give us the wedding in the second book. The road to this one was crazy and scared me a little bit.
Communication was key here. Compromise too. I was happy once they finally started listening to one another and considering one another’s wants to get down that aisle.
Babyyyyyyyyyyyy Knuck and Nyomi love was so pure, loud, crazy, and and one of a kind. You can tell they both loved each other with everything in them. I really really enjoyed reading about those two. I will say that Thee Tasha Marie is becoming one of my go to author's to read.
I was soo happy to see that she did a 2nd book for Knuck &Nyomi!!! This was one of my favorite couples and this book did not disappoint!! Read it in one sitting and I highly recommend!
I love that man! Knuck know he something special 🥰. He knew Nyomi was meant for him and he wasn’t having it any other way. The way that man loved her down and affirmed her at the same time 😮💨. I loved this book from the first word to the last! 100/10 reccomend.
