At the end of their first date, shy student Sandy goes back to Victor's apartment, already head over heels. Victor, a suave genetic engineer, is perfect in almost every way. The only problem: Sandy is terrified of cats, and Victor is obsessed with them. Worse still, his demented house cat Melody seems hell-bent on scaring Sandy away. But Sandy is too desperate to let fear overpower her, even as Victor's strange love for cats forces her further out of her comfort zone. She'll do anything to make things work with him--even if it costs her very humanity...
“You’re such a good girl. I don’t ever want you to go.”
Sandy meets Victor online and after a nice dinner, decides to go home with him. Though he's a stranger, he seems nice and she's attracted to him. The only problem seems to be his unfriendly cat. But they get past the unpleasantries and soon a relaxing massage turns into a bit more. Just before getting intimate, Victor reveals that he has very "particular tastes." He makes some bizarre requests, which Sandy reluctantly accommodates. She doesn't mind participating in his peculiar fetish/fantasy.
Until the following morning....
This was a very short and enjoyable story. I didn't know what to expect and was intrigued by the turn of events.
this wasn't for me. I liked the idea behind it, and if it told you why they were making the serim, it might have been better. The writing style was easy to read, but after the fifth time reading " she was surprisingly agile," I started getting annoyed. If you are chasing a really short story to complete a reading challenge, then maybe read this, but that is the only recommendation I can give.
Very strange and compelling piece. Describing the plot may contain spoilers but it is basically about a man and a woman on a first date, a good date, a date that ends in a nightcap of sorts. Well, beyond that it gets weird. Really weird. In a good way. Enjoy it.
