Cobbler Cove #6
A Family for Grayson
A cowboy who reads textbooks but can’t read people. A widow who reads everyone just to survive. They never saw each other coming.
Hunky cowboy, Grayson Lawton, has a master’s degree in genetics, an addiction to learning, and the social skills of a fence post. He’s reopening the town’s abandoned fire station — if he can stop flattening traffic cones long enough to park the town’s ancient fire engine.
Bonnie Watson is the single mom who quietly runs Cobbler Cove while the mayor takes the credit. She hasn’t let anyone past her emotional walls in four years — and she’s not about to start with the silver-eyed cowboy who keeps showing up with lunch and answers to her seven-year-old’s endless questions.
Except Gray doesn’t just show up. He stays. He stays when her kids ambush him with science puzzles. He stays when the calving barn turns into a round-the-clock crisis. And he stays when he uncovers evidence suggesting the fire that killed her husband wasn’t an accident — and the only man she’s trusted in four years may be the one who lit the match.
Now the brainiest cowboy in Montana and the bravest woman in Cobbler Cove are partners in something far more dangerous than falling in love.

Review of advance copy received from Author
This series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. Grayson and Bonnie have a special connection based on mutual trust-something that doesn’t come easy for either of them. The barn fire that killed all eight firefighters, Bonnie’s husband among them, is being investigated by Grayson’s brother. He and Bonnie play key roles in trying to get the investigation reopened. We’re getting closer to finding out what actually happened, but you can read this book as a standalone and still enjoy it. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

very enjoyable
Good story formula. Realistic characters. My only suggestion is getting a new proof reader. All in all very enjoyable read.

5 Stars for story but desperately needs editing for spelling errors and incorrect or missing words.
