Drastic consequences, tenuous agreements and a new hope!
Engulfed, book 4 in the Silent Tide series, brings us to find Garrett and Indy on the run in the high country, lona working to release massive amounts of salt into the water with the pseudo-military troops loyal to Brumby, Tess and Hannah are still paddling their kayak, and Fiona is the biggest character change so far. She is not the same woman she was at the start, her arc is rapid and fascinating. The writing jumps off the page and is phenomenal in every way. Upton and Kraus have delivered another winner with Engulfed! Overall, 5/5 well earned stars, this series gets better with each book!

I did really enjoy this part of the series. A good selection of characters in a very wet & toxic world. I do like the fact it has more than one main character as OO find this adds extra interest & tension. AA good fun read & I can't wait to see what happens next!

Engulfed was another exciting and thrilling book in this series, with a twist that I couldn't see coming. Had me glued the whole way through. So much happening to our different groups who face many dangers. Great series !

This was an excellent continuation of a very good series. There is a lot of action and additional tension around the intentions of the current military leader in the US. Book 5 needs to hurry to publication.

Out of Breadth
Another good one! Just when I hope that everything was going well, nothing was going well. My main characters are in serious trouble. The good guys are being attacked.

Each book is a thriller!!
Surfactants and Salt fighting each other seems other worldly. However, messing with nature has become deadly in this sequel. Stacy Upton and Mike Kraus have outdone themselves in this one. Can’t wait to read book 5.

What can survivors do in a wet and toxic world. Will they ever find a safe place to live again. Full of suspense and surprises. If possible each book is better than the last.

The saga continues to be exciting and with great characters, plot and action. Will definitely continue to read the series.
