Fox is a masochist who craves everything his Master does to him- he loves the pain and kink, but he also loves the way his Master takes care of him and makes sure not to violate his boundaries. Fox wears a mask during all their sessions together to maintain his anonymity (yes, this is a plot point, and yes, you will see it coming a mile away 😆).

As his Master, it falls to me to give my sweet Fox all the suffering he needs.

The problem for Fox is that while keeping his identity a secret from his hired sex worker Dom is necessary, he wants more. He wants to know if there could be a future for the two of them. Fox is clever and crafty, and a complete brat who pushes boundaries all the time. But when it comes to love, he's much more shy.

I was feeling a bit meh today and so I really wasn't sure if I'd be in the mood to read a BDSM book, but I'm so glad I did. It brought everything mentioned in the TW list but also a lovely emotional connection between Fox and his Master. I read it in one sitting and really enjoyed it 🥰. It's difficult to find the right balance between pleasurable pain during the sexy times and developing compelling characters and an interesting plot, but Allyx managed it! This book delivered everything I was missing in the free prequel. It was also fun to read a few less common kinks! The book isn't super-intensely descriptive during the spicy scenes so if you aren't a fan of/are unsure about the kinks I don't think they'll be too overwhelming. Allyx, more sounding and CBT please 🙏🥵🔥

the first third of this novella is dedicated to a very elaborate BDSM scene between a masked, slightly cheeky slave and his dom master. after that it’s a cute little fairy tale with a very predictable plot but also big feelings in some kind of historical setting.

it didn’t provide much more than a short diversion but seems a very fitting story for the k!nktober series it’s released in.

Familiar red lips curl into a rueful smile. The prince leans in, his whispered words for my ears alone. “My goodness. What have you gotten yourself into, Master?”

Other than his missing mask, this is how I am used to seeing him. Every freckle and hair on his gorgeous body forms a neighborhood I could navigate in my sleep.

“You know I need very little reason to give you pain. I will hurt you as reward when you behave… as punishment when you’re being a little shit… or simply because your screams amuse me.” Fox sucks in a hungry breath. His expressiveness makes my job so easy. “But not tonight. Because tonight, little Fox, I will give you something you want even more.”

oh my god. i don't even know what to say. i'm literally in tears.

i'm going to really go out crazy on a whim here, i've read a lot and i know i say this a lot. but this is my favourite book i have ever read. i can not quite believe how i feel after this book. it takes a lot for books too really truly make me FEEL. and i'm an empath so please do the math🫪

but somehow, this book actually made me feel. in my heart of hearts it cracked open something in me, i am truly and utterly shocked to my core, not that i ever doubted allyx and her writing i loved her prequel to this so much and that's up there with a favourite for me too. i also basically sent live reactions too allyx (sorry allyx i was emotional and yelling HAHAHH) but this one, although heavily based on bdsm, and as somebody that is a part of that life, when i tell you, this is was everything i imagined it would be and more, allyx has a skill for writing such fiercely passionate stories (maybe it's her writing and her passion for it!!!) but this is passion written like never before, someone in this life i feel all of it, i feel the passion i feel the submission, i feel the resolve cracking open. i FEEL it all not only in the story but in real life and it's truly opened up a level of myself i didn't know existed reading this, truly and honestly. i'll never forget this book or anything about it, a story im actually in total and complete awe, i don't even know what to say, except thank you, to allyx, for showcasing the beautiful beautiful side of this lifestyle through your words, you showcase far more than the stuff we see in movies, the fifty shades, you showcase the depth that comes with such a lifestyle. and just wow. is all i can say.

characters :
these characters have cracked open my heart and are making a little home inside of me, truly. i don't know how they've managed to make their way so deeply into my heart but im so happy they did. a beautiful pair of characters, written in a beautiful way & written in a way to truly conveys what i see as depth of character, i can count on one hand the times an author has made me feel this deeply for a character/s. i loved them just as much if not more in this story than in fox's punishment, we really got to know them, on a DEEP DEEP level, i have no notes. they're the perfect characters.

plot :
the plot twist.. excuse me!!! i was SHOOK to my core i audibly screamed, then i cried, then i was put back together and made up again, all in 100 or so pages. the love i feel for this story is unmatched, the setting, the descriptions, the sheer detail in this story, as a very visual reader i felt like i was there, truly and honestly i felt like i was there. not a fly on the wall, experiencing it. & seeing what master & fox went through truly and honestly shattered me in a way i have never been shattered. i adored that it was set in a more historical setting, it felt even more authentic and real to me. not only that, it added a layer i didn't know it needed, it gave depth to a plot that could've stood all on its own but yet the added layers made it a true standout for me.

spice :
the spice is something else, but this time we get less pain and more love. ACTUAL LOVE. and you feel it, you feel their burning passion, you feel the sheer love they have for not only depravity but of passion too. seeing the resolve shatter but the roles switch so perfectly and so smoothly is something i was truly not prepared for, it isn't often spice makes me cry but boy did it make me cry this time. to see them have something just for them. truly and wholly showcases a level of spice in stories i now need. i hold all other queer stories to this standard, i now will accept nothing less & i just know whatever kinky,queer stories allyx comes out with next i will be an immediate purchaser. for spice alone. hehe

overall :
the easiest ANOTHER 6⭐️ read. i have no notes. i wouldn't change anything. i hope i conveyed just how amazing this story is because honestly im still lost for words and still crying. urgh im honoured i found allyx, i found master, i found fox. i hope they stay in my heart forever. they earned that HEA that is for sure.😭❤️‍🩹

This book contained some BDSM scenes that I have never read before and it had my jaw hanging. The trust between the MMC''s were believable and it was born out out pure love and trust for each other. I was happy to see that Fox extended care to his Dom in his time of need, just like a Dom takes care of his Sub after a session.

“Our games are not games to me,” he says quietly. “They never have been. They are sacred, and I… I have been yours since the moment I saw you. Not only your slave. Yours. What do I want? I want everything. All of you. I love you, Master.”

This was such a excellent read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It left me wanting more. From the first page, this book had me hooked.

I'm happy that Fox and his Dom had a HFN ending. I would love to read their story if it continues. They will live rent free in my head, long after the story has ended.

🖤Fox’s Master is a standalone, but there is a prequel (Fox’s Punishment) that can be read before diving into FM. It’s not needed but I honestly suggest it. It’s spicy as hell and gives a glimpse of their pre-established relationship before FM.

Allyx is a new to me author that I found when someone sent me the arc link to One Night With The Heard and Fox’s Master and immediately had to sign up for them both! Yeah, y’all are gonna need to read FP now and FM when it comes out! Fox is such a bratty little shit and Master is his perfect match. He knows when his little Fox is just being his sly, bratty self, or he really means what he’s saying, which leads to some very fun and hot punishments when he’s full of shit 😈😂. I love their dynamic, there’s such a push and pull to them and the mystery of who Fox is, adds to it. Honestly, I had a suspicion of who he was and was proven kinda right…sorta lol, I was in the ballpark but still off. OMG THE CUM DRINK?! Okay, Fox’s Master is EXACTLY the kind of short, kinky MM romance that grabs you by the throat and refuses to let go.

What I loved most is that the relationship isn't built around simply knowing everything about each other. It starts with trust, submission and this incredibly intriguing anonymity. Fox is bratty, clever, playful and completely impossible for his Master to resist, while the mystery surrounding his identity adds this great layer of tension to everything between them.

The idea of a Dominant falling for the man beneath the mask—while not even knowing his real name or face—is such a good setup. There’s something incredibly intimate about being allowed access to someone's deepest desires while being shut out from the rest of their life.
And that question of who Fox really is kept me hooked. Is the connection strong enough to survive the truth? Is the man behind the mask the same man his Master has fallen for, or has he been hiding something much bigger?

I also really liked that the story seems to focus on the emotional side of BDSM as much as the kink. It isn't just about the dynamic... it's about trust, vulnerability, surrender and the terrifying possibility of wanting someone outside the boundaries you've created.

Fox himself sounds like an absolute menace in the best possible way 😂 — clever, bratty and clearly determined to keep his Master guessing.
Finding out who Fox really was.. my jaw DROPPED.

This is a standalone book but I’d highly recommend reading Fox’s punishment which is a short sequel to this story.

I really enjoyed this book so much that I binged read it!

I love how this story dived into not only the physical side of the BDSM but also the emotional side. You can feel the connection and the trust both Fox and his master have with each other.

This book does contains some spicy BDSM scenes. Being in a Sub and Dom relationship there are some spicy and hot scenes that I either haven’t read before or don’t read much in books, so be prepared for the extreme sizzle.

I loved how much of a brat Fox was to his Master. And of course his Master who is the perfect brat tamer always knows which punishment to dish out to keep Fox in line.

I am really hoping there is another book coming in this series as this book was too short and I absolutely devoured this story.
I really would love to read more of Fox and his Master and where there relationship goes.

What a deliciously filthy read. I read the prequel (Fox's Punishment) that is set 3 months prior to the start of this one and was definitely curious about who Fox was. It was nice to get the story from "Master's" POV this time around (though we never did find out his name). The erotic scenes are (as previously mentioned) deliciously filthy and the actual plot kept me interested in finishing the story. About 75% of the way through I was starting to get annoyed that Fox was so quick to free Master, but left everyone else to languish/made no changes to the status quo to the point that I was considering dropping a star in my rating, but that was addressed in the final chapter. I enjoyed Fox's POV in the prior short, so I kind of hope there will be a follow up from both POVs with some further adventures. If there aren't though, this was definitely a complete story with a good ending. Definitely worth checking out if you like kinky stories that read pretty quickly and have a satisfying happy ending (and the author's note at the start of the story contains a very thorough content listing so please review it if you're worried about what sorts of kinks are included).

I had just finished Foxs Punishment, the prequel or first part of this, and was so looking forward to getting into this one.

It's not a total part 2, since Foxs Punishment is all one night/one scene, this one Foxs Master, touches on SO much more character development.

Still very smutty and sexy times, we find out what happens when the mask comes off Fox, who Fox is, and how Master and Fox come together after everything comes out.

It's a period piece, which I wasn't aware of going into it, but so good! And I normally don't like period pieces. It's not overtly in your face about it. Just talks about cobblestone streets, carriages, oil lamps etc. so you get the idea and imagery of the town when they're outside.

I says it's more of a HFN than a HEA since we don't have an epilogue or "few months later" or anything like that. But it's still wraps basically everything up with a soft black blindfold.

I read an ARC copy of this book. Same thing with the short story Fox’s Punishment, this book had me giggling and screaming with joy. I love Fox’s character and being able to hear what “Master” is thinking and feeling. These two somehow managed to have an undeniable emotional and physical chemistry that I wouldn’t have expected from a Novella. I was deeply surprised and while I’m content where it ended, I would give my spleen to have more of them together. The way they take care of each other? The bratting? The dominance? I’ve been in a funk ever since I read Painter’s Obsession. I’ve found it hard to get into books as much as I used to. This book changed that. I was talking to my dog about it and kicking my legs like a toddler out of excitement! Read the book. You will not be disappointed! Please give us more of Fox and his Master!!!!

It was not what I expected.


It was so so good. I expected hardcore BDSM (and I did get, don't get me wrong), but it was so much more than that.

It was sweet and tender and it kind of altered my brain chemistry? I want what they have.

Fox and his master were intimate and just right for one another.

Fox had the need to be dominated despite his upbringing and his master had the need to dominate despite his upbringing also. And I mean that in the sense that usually the sex worker is the submissive one, but it was so nice to see the opposite this time, I really enjoyed it. And it was super hot too, I might need to dive in pool filled with holy water after reading this.



I literally cannot think of ONE thing I didn't like and I want more books like this. I'm definitely checking the author's other works.:)

The way they both want each other from the start, and neither one knowing it…just made me so happy with the ending.

I loved this book and really hope there is a follow up.
I would definitely recommend it. Just remember to read the trigger warnings and links because my god…..🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🥵🥵

Firstly the spice is unreal! So many kinks and tropes, some rarely seen in dark romance books. But not only that the emotion is real, they both truly have feelings for each other but are trying to deny them to themselves and also to each other because that is not what their agreement was. Never did I think this book would have me crying like it did! Hearing “Master” picturing Fox in his darkest moments just to get himself through and how all he wished he could do was see Fox and tell him the truth about what he is to him (not just his slave) destroyed me. This book ended up being so much more than I expected in the best way possible, and seeing “Master” struggle with the realisation of who his little Fox is was amazing. I had the best time reading it 🤎

I absolutely LOVED this book! 😍 It felt so authentic when it came to portraying a D/s relationship between a sadist and a masochist. I read the prequel first, and even though this book is mostly smut, there is definitely a plot . It was something I had a feeling might happen, but I genuinely didn’t know what to bet on, and watching everything unfold had me completely hooked.

If you loved the prequel, or if you’re into BDSM books with degradation, sadism, edging, punishment, forced milking, and forced orgasms, you are going to absolutely DEVOUR this one.

Fox's Master is a BDSM-focussed story between Fox, a submissive, and his "Master". Fox, who insists on anonymity in their encounters, and Master have been growing closer and closer over the course of their arrangement, but Fox's mask remains a barrier between them. Over the course of the story, identities are finally revealed, and the two get their HEA.

Great writing, perfect BDSM spice, and sweet romance. Can't ask for more! :) Though you can read this as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading the short novella Fox's Punishment first as it provides a lot of background and context.

The spice! The kink! The brattiness! Oh my!

Fox’s Master starts off spicy right from the beginning and doesn’t let up. Fox is a bratty sub who has found his way into his Master’s life, more than just a traditional Dom/sub relationship. Although they can only meet up every couple months Fox and Master have come to cherish their time together. In an unfortunate turn of events they find out things about one another they were expecting and ends up changing their relationship. Can they get back to where they were???

This was such a good book. Starts off with high spice. It's told through the Dom's POV. The relationship between the two MCs is high heat and the angst!!! I know it had an HEA, but when Master gets arrested, my heart dropped because of all his regrets for not telling Fox how he felt! And then the twist on who Fox really is! I know this is a stand alone, but I wouldn't mind seeing how their relationship progresses.

Short spicy read but it gives you all the feels. I laughed, I cried. While this was a standalone I do suggest reading Fox's Punishment first. The short story more or less sets the scene for this novella and did i mention the spice is top tier!! I loved the secret identity aspect even if I figured it out early on. My only complaint is that it was short but I'm holding out hope we will see more of Master and his little Fox's in the future.

What a spicy read that was! Nice and short but so full of spice! I was very invested in these two characters relationship and how it developed! I definitely saw Fox’s identity coming but I really loved how it played out! The dramatic entrance was perfect and it was great to see the sub come save the day.

Overall, a really enjoyable read.

Defenitly not what I was expecting, but I am 100% not disappointed. I am so happy they have developed their relationship and are now more than a master and his slave.

A really good book, just like *Fox's Punishment*.

It is a wonderful book—a story that makes you giggle, laugh, and cry. The two main characters have fantastic chemistry and a great dynamic.
