Isang gabi ng pagkalimot ng 'inhibitions'. Isang dalagang nais lamang na umarte ng naaayon sa kanyang edad. Isang binatang nais lamang ng 'good time'. Isang body shot, Isang dirty dance, Isang halik, Isang kama, Isang umaga.
Alam mo yung feeling na sobrang kilig tapos biglang downfall? Yung ang taas na ng lipad bigla mong narealize na wala kang pakpak so lakas ng lagapak mo sa lupa. Hahaha. Ito na talaga yun. I swear. Ang weird ko talaga habang binabasa to. Para akong tanga na hindi maintindihan. Una masaya tapos biglang lugmok tapos tatawa. Hay. Nawirduhan panigurado mga nakausap ko sa two days na binabasa ko `to. Hahaha. River's the perfect guy.
This is one of the Wattpad Taglish books that really made me read it effortless. The characters were lovable in their own ways, the storyline is simple yet you'd feel the emotions of each scene. This is one of those good cliches as I could say. It's light read, humorous and my type of book. I really love how the romance between Jamie and River evolves and grows. They weren't stuck in those insta-love syndrome. They deal with their own shiz, work their differences out and become better. Although some chapters were really quite unrealistic for me, this book has a certain charm and I'm definitely going to read the next book!
When He Fell For Me is a novel I can never get-over with. No matter how many times I have read this novel, the excitement and awe that I had the first time I did remains the same every time I get the chance to read it again.
Jaime Navarro is a protagonist that is extremely relatable, especially to fangirls. She is an avid fan of Disney movies, and a bibliophile reading a wide variety of books. She likes Star Wars, Star Trek, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Harry Potter. Her unique attribute is she is known as a quote-spouting girl, reciting lines from her favorite movies. She has a personality of a 12-year-old, naive and cheery despite being close to twenty. She may seem immature to a lot of people but somehow, River Ongpauco found her as a miracle. (Okay, I am romanticizing a bit.)
I cannot explain River Ongpauco constructing words from the dictionary. I mean, he is everything. When I say everything, literally everything. Your boyfriend, your chauffeur, your gym instructor, your comedian, your travel agent, your wallet, your delivery guy, your Percy, everything. However, he has his own flaws too, because when he falls he chokes.
I was never a fan of instant love, when the boy and girl just fell in love as fast as lightning. I thought at first this novel was that kind of story, without transition. However, as I continued to walk on Jaime's shoes I realized that it was not what I thought it was.
When He Fell For Me is a roller-coaster ride of feelings. I laughed, I squealed, I sighed, I got angry, and then I cried. It is an unforgettable adventure that I can retake over and over, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good story. And if you have never been a fan of Harry Potter, reading this can influence you to become one in a thousand ways.
This story was the very first story that I read written by the author. Jaime and River's story is worth the read. The author's writing is easy to read and just right on my taste. Full on review for this one when I got enough time to make a proper blog post.
