Howdy, chum. Rusty here, and for once I'm happy to be in over my head. See, we just scored a job that's part beer run, part bucket-list fetch a load of the galaxy's smoothest brew from a city under the surf, then haul it to a planet that's parched for a pint. Only problem is, our rig belongs in the ocean like a toaster belongs in a bathtub.
Lucky for us, our fish-folk friends have a ship that's as comfortable under the waves as it is among the stars, and they're fixin' to ferry us down to collect our liquid gold. And we're not the only ones trading spacesuits for wetsuits. Karlie's crew is tagging along to make waves, but this time getting in deep water is actually part of the job description.
We're gonna have a whole mess of hoppy hijinks before we bring that boatload of beer to the surface and rocket off to an interstellar happy hour. So grab your water wings and beer coozies, and join us for one whale of a brews cruise.
No Stress Space Express is a series about finding your true family, told with the common-sense wisdom of Jerry Boyd's Bob and Nikki series (Bob's Saucer Repair), and the low-stakes world building of Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes. Join Rusty and his crew for a heart-warming, laugh-out-loud adventure with no tension, and no drama. Just good clean fun, great friendships, and a little romance too.
Jack Bodett lives at the corner of duct tape and destiny. His humorous science-fiction tales are populated by folks who are equally good at building spaceships and building friendships. He believes that with a good sense of humor, a willingness to help others, and a well-stocked tool belt, anyone can bang together their own happy ending.
Thank you Jack...you spend time putting these stories together and I'll smash thru them in an afternoon. Will wait patiently for the next...but will pre-order so you know im serious :)
These stories are so funny and cute not to mention well written. So inventive in the characters and place he invents the words he comes up with like Hoobie as a greeting. ENJOY!
This was a whole bunch of fun, Tony & Tweeser having to go to an underwater city, just hilarious. I really enjoyed these books, it is just so long between them, can not wait for the next one!
Rusty and his crew along with Karlie and her people take on the job of delivering a big load of beer to an underwater bar. Not an easy task but they get help from Corinne and Murl, frog people who can live under water. A great story.
The outrageous crews continue on their campaign for a outrageous grand old time. Always available to help others as they make new friends and memories.
Nothing fishy about this one in the quality department. Fun read filled with humor, friends, good characterization, sort of unusual setting, and the plot or day just moved right along. Recommended!
