Spilling an entire bottle of water into a hot stranger’s lap mid-flight was bad enough. But blurting out something wildly inappropriate about it loud enough for the whole plane to hear? Somehow worse.
Sienna never expected to see the ridiculously attractive, annoyingly calm man again.
But fate has other plans.
Now they’re double-booked into the same villa for fourteen days at her sister’s tropical wedding. One living space. One dangerously tempting hot tub. And absolutely no way to avoid each other.
Sienna doesn’t believe in love. She believes in chaos, sarcasm, and definitely not catching feelings—especially for a golden-retriever-coded man who somehow knows exactly how to calm her racing mind… and set the rest of her on fire.
But between ridiculous wedding week activities, too many late-night confessions, and one unforgettable night under the stars, “just fun” is starting to feel a lot like something neither of them are ready to walk away from.
”Double Booked In Paradise” is a complete standalone!
Tropes include:
🏝️dislike to lovers 🌺 forced proximity 🏝️ open door spice 🌺 age gap (26/33) 🏝️ no third act break-up 🌺 dual POV 🏝️ he falls first and hard 🌺 pierced MMC 🏝️ cute meet gone wrong
Sparks fly from the very first page when a sunshine heroine crashes into the well-ordered world of a stubborn hero.
Sharing a tropical villa after a double-booking mix-up sets the stage for a wonderfully chaotic escape with Sienna and Milo. She brings a bright, free-spirited energy that clashes delightfully with his grumpy, organized workaholic nature. Their instant sparks on the plane ignite right into hilarious and sizzling banter, making every single page an absolute joy to turn.
Watching these two opposites navigate their forced proximity brings out a brilliant mix of laugh-out-loud comedy and genuine emotional warmth. While the early pacing moves at a lightning speed and a few repetitive expressions pop up along the way, the chemistry eventually explodes into wonderfully steamy territory. The sweet relationship growth and supportive side characters completely anchor the fun vacation atmosphere.
Closing the book leaves you with a huge smile and a warm, satisfied heart from a deeply entertaining getaway. It delivers everything you could possibly want in a lighthearted romance filled with memorable characters and delightful humor.
This sunny adventure is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a fun and engaging escape.

Huge thank you to Simone White for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨
Two strangers, one double booked villa for 2 weeks.
Sienna, confident as fuck! I love her so dang much. Brave, witty, smart mouth, everything wrapped in one beautiful (sometimes dramatic 😂 package)
Milo.. Milo Milo Milo. I love him. The filthy mouth on that man. Need I say more? I love his grumpy exterior when we first meet him. But deep down he’s gentle and so kind.
When I say this has the best tropical vibes, I mean it 100 percent. It hit every single trope, brought out every emotion. I mean I was giggling, full on laughing, swooning, cheeks pure hurting, all of it.
Simone White you had me hooked from page one.
The banter was seriously the best I have ever read. The back and forth between Milo and Sienna had me pure dying. Talk about chemistry from page one. Literally they meet on a plane and instant attraction. Although a slow burn, the emotion, the flirting, all of it is so good through the entire book. Things really heat up around 50 percent or so. And I mean things get hot 🥵 Milo and Sienna have so much chemistry, it’s literally on fire.
Such a fun mix of comedy and romance. I highly recommend this one, especially for fans of Meghan Quinn! 5/5 ⭐️ definitely one of my favorites of the year! Huge thanks to Simone White for the arc. These are all of my honest thoughts and opinions.
He kisses me. It’s slow and searching, as if he’s giving me one last chance to pull away. Then the dam breaks. The kiss turns deep, hungry, and desperate.
“Tell me to stop, Sienna,” he says, his eyes searching mine. “Tell me to stop before we do something we can’t take back.” I frantically shake my head. “I don’t want you to stop.”
I received this book as an Advanced Readers Copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is definitely an easy read if you’re looking for something quick. The book is fairly insta-lust, with the characters flirting pretty much from minute one (even though they supposedly don’t like each other) (even though they just met like an hour ago). There wasn’t a lot of depth to the start of their relationship (I would’ve liked a little more back and forth rather than the immediate teasing that we got), and the book only covers a two week period of time.
If you like an upbeat “see where the wind blows” FMC then Sienna is for you. Alas, she was not for me.
Certain thoughts and phrases were very repetitive, and after the third or fourth (or fifteenth time) they tend to lose their impact. Mix in a steady lack of synonyms— I think a thesaurus could have gone a long way.
I didn’t love how pushy her parents and sister were in the boyfriend department (as if she didn’t meet this guy for the first time literally two days ago). It was very annoying and very consistent, happening pretty much every time she was left alone with them.
Don’t get me wrong, the book was cute. It had very sweet moments between both main characters, and fun side quests. And I definitely recommend it as a summer read. I was very excited for this ARC, and went in with fairly high hopes. Unfortunately it was not quite my cup of tea.
3.5⭐️ Okay I went in blind here but this was such a beautiful, cute story. I loved the main characters, they fit perfectly and truly accepted each other. Was just such a fun summery feel, I really enjoyed the plot and loved the little bingo/scavenger hunt element.
Honestly would of given 4 stars but the parents were annoying, really repetitive and treated her bad, then when she was doubting herself they are like why you being insecure but they didn’t even really apologise and no one really called them out on it it’s just blown over. Wish she would have confronted them or the MMC would have said something ?
Rating: ★★★★★ 5 / 5 | Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4/5 Two strangers. One double-booked villa. Fourteen days. One hot tub. Zero chance of leaving without forever.
This was the perfect chaotic, swoony, tropical escape I needed.
The Setup:
Sienna spills an entire bottle of water on a ridiculously hot, annoyingly calm stranger mid-flight and blurts out something so inappropriate the whole plane hears it. Mortifying, right? Now imagine being double-booked into the SAME villa with him for 14 days during her sister's tropical wedding. Yeah. Fate is messy and I loved every second.
What I loved:
Sienna & Milo — Sienna is 26, sarcastic, chaotic, doesn't-believe-in-love energy and I FELT her. Milo is 33, calm, golden-retriever-coded, pierced MMC who falls first and FALLS HARD. He just gets her racing mind and knows exactly when to calm her down and when to set her on fire. The age gap (26/33) is done so well.
The Tropes (chef's kiss):
Dislike to Lovers / Forced Proximity - One Villa / Cute Meet Gone Wrong / Sister's Tropical Wedding / Dual POV / He Falls First / Open Door Spice / No Third Act Breakup
The Vibe:
It's funny, steamy, heartwarming, and low-angst in the best way. The wedding week activities, late-night confessions, the scene under the stars — all of it screams summer. Simone White's writing is so easy and bingeable. I finished it in one sitting on the balcony with iced coffee and was kicking my feet the whole time.
Content Note: 18+ for open door scenes, strong language, alcohol consumption.
If you loved The Unhoneymooners or People We Meet on Vacation, this needs to go on your TBR immediately. It's a complete standalone and the perfect beach/vacation read.
Final thought: Sienna thought she believed in chaos, not love. Milo was more than happy to prove her wrong. And that hot tub? Yeah, it deserves its own character credit.
I received a free advanced readers copy and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Double Booked in Paradise was everything I wanted in a romance and more. This is easily one of the best books I've read in a while!
The banter was absolutely bantering, the spice was definitely spicing, and I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the entire book. It was such an easy, addictive read that I didn't want to put it down.
One of my favourite things about this story was how vividly it was written. The descriptions were so immersive that I could picture every scene perfectly, making it feel like I was right there with the characters.
Sienna was a wonderfully chaotic whirlwind, full of energy and heart, while Milo was the perfect balance for her. I loved that he grounded her without ever trying to change who she was or hold her back. Their relationship felt natural, supportive, and full of chemistry, making them such a fun couple to root for.
Overall, this book was funny, romantic, and incredibly entertaining. If you're looking for a romance with fantastic banter, great chemistry, memorable characters, and plenty of laughs, I can't recommend Double Booked in Paradise enough.
Simone is an author that leans into spice and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries at times, but I will say this full length novel was quite sweet and swoony. Don't worry the spice, definitely spicy, but you can see how the tough exteriors of these two have to come down a little before they will admit their attraction.
This is completely a grumpy/sunshine pair with Sienna bringing spontaneity and energy to Milo’s workaholic world. The banter between the best man and maid of honour was top notch as they were double booked to share a villa during this destination wedding.
I really enjoyed Sienna and Aria’s twin bond and how they supported each other through the story, both creating space and reassurance for each other. You could feel a similar vibe between Milo and Ethan as they had been best friends for 15 years and Ethan's family definitely embraced Milo which was so sweet.
I loved Sienna's tenacity and how she was unwilling to settle down for less, and really Milo rose to the occasion. He pushed when she needed it, but his steadiness in those trying times was the perfect balance.
1000% a great beach read for the summer since it is a standalone.
Thank you to Simone for sharing this couple with me in advance!!
A swoony and ghost pepper level spice hot romance between two people who never believed in settling down but once you find the ONE how quickly your opinion changes no matter how quickly and chaotically it happens This was a fun banter filled whirlwind romance that is perfect for a hot summer read I loved the wedding activity bingo card tasks that Sienna and Milo participated and crushed Milo is a truly swoon worthy MMC. All of his acts of love and showing Sienna she does not need to change one bit for the right person. One quote that stood out to me was “You’re my favorite kind of unexpected. My once-in-a-lifetime chaos.” Sienna is bright and chaotic and the type of FMC that makes you wish you could be just as unapologetically you. Milo and Sienna are each other perfect match and the author made my romance heart flutter Another favorite quote: “I can already tell you’re the calm shore to my crashing waves.” Thank you for allowing me to ARC read 5⭐️
This was my first introduction to Simone White and I was not disappointed! I was captured by the characters from page one and that continued until the very end.
Milo and Sienna are total opposites. He is a workaholic, grumpy, always thinking of his next project or email. She is a go where the wind takes you, sunny, and life of the party. They compliment each other and balance each other out. It does take some time though for their "flirting" to turn physical but when it does, it heats up fast!
Both are on Paradise island for a wedding and get stuck together into a suite because of over booking. They both take it in stride and are able to handle it maturely. Until a night in the hot tub on the patio, things get a bit complicated and messy.
A super fun read with lots of tension, family dynamics, friendships, and steamy times, plus a happily ever after.
Double booked in Paradise is the perfect summer read! I absolutely adored every minute of this book. It left me feeling warm and fuzzy, inspired and eager to get out make the most out of each adventure!
The banter? Hilarious The chemistry? Sizzling 🥵 The spice? Pure fire 🔥
Sienna is pure chaos! I absolutely adore her. She's fiercely loyal, funny and utterly chaotic. She loves with her whole heart and I think we could all benefit from a Sienna in our lives 🥰
Milo is just an absolute sweetheart! He absolutely adores Sienna and loves taking care of her in any way he can. He understands her more than most people and doesn't try to tame her. This man is so precious!
I loved the vacation setting, its made me crave a vacation adventure! 🏖
Thank you so much Simone for the advanced copy. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend 🥰💖
“Getting double-booked in paradise wasn’t so bad after all. In fact, it marked the beginning of everything”
I loved this book from start to finish 🥹 the main characters banter from start to finish was wonderful to read, the flow of the story equally was as good, there were very few parts that I thought needed more or less time (which is surprising for me as I’m a very picky reader🫣).
There were at times, moments that seemed like they were placed in there as fillers, however the flow of the story and the storyline as well as the consistency with the characters made up for this.
This was my first read of a book by this author & I absolutely adored it and cannot wait to read more of her writing!
I really wanted to love this one more than I did. It has so many of my favorite tropes, and the tropical setting made it feel like the perfect summer read. Maybe it was just my mindset, but this one didn't quite click for me. The story is very dialogue-heavy, which made it harder for me to connect with the characters on a deeper level. The banter between the two main characters starts almost immediately and never really lets up. I usually enjoy witty back-and-forth, but this felt so constant that I found myself wanting more quiet moments to really settle into the story and connect with the characters.
It was still an easy, quick read, it just didn't land for me the way I'd hoped.
Thank you to the author for the advanced copy. My thoughts are my own.
There’s lots of bickering between Sienna and Milo (two polar opposites) at the beginning, but that quickly turns into flirting. I did love the chemistry between them, lots of tension that’s building up to the grand finale. Because the no-fun business owner transforms into a very hot, dirty talker, and turns out to be exactly what Sienna needs (and absolutely wants!).
~~I want her laughter in my mornings. I want her chaos in my quiet nights. I want her exactly as she is for the rest of my life.~~
Forced proximity, no third act breakup, and a HEA. An easy to read, beach holiday romance. I had a really great time reading this book.
I received an arc of this ebook from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion.
“She’s already decided you’re interesting…” “Should I be scared?” A deep chuckle rumbles from his chest as he stands and claps a hand in my shoulder. “Oh, you should be petrified.”
Mr. Controlled-and-Composed has to share a villa with the chaotic spirit that is Sienna Harlow while staying in paradise for a wedding.
There were a lot of great moments. I liked Sienna and Milo together. The premise was so cute. It was a really fun read overall. The end really dragged, though. Also everyone telling them how much they loved each other got real repetitive. Otherwise, it was a fun time.
Thank you to BookFunnel and Simone White for this ARC!
I thought it was overall a cute book but there were some moments where elements in the story kept getting brought up and it felt a little too repetitive. I thought the world building was well done and could visualize the resort well.
Some of the spicy scenes were a little much for me personally but I do think I’m one to keep it a little tame for what I’m reading and I could see someone else easily enjoying it.
It was honestly a really lighthearted palate cleanser from some of the heavier things I had read before and it was nice to read about a fun HEA!
Sweet baby Jesus. This was ADORABLE. HYSTERICAL. SWEET and SO SO DIRTY.
so naturally, I loved every second of it. I read a blurb somewhere and laughed out loud and I was sold...ran right to my kindle to get it. I'm so happy I did!
Strangers to lovers Best man/maid of honor Destination wedding laugh out loud moments Forced proximity Sweet romantic moments that were so perfectly sweet I need a dentist! No third act break up or stupid misunderstanding (YAY!!!) Dirty talk..lots and lots of dirty talking and such great sex scenes! And a very very happy ending with an epilogue
This is such a fun, playful, sexy summer romance read. Perfect to take on a tropical beach vacay with you! Sienna and Milo get double booked in the same villa on a tropical island whilst they are both there to attend Siena's sister's wedding. They end up falling for each other even though neither want to be in a relationship. I loved their adventures and the spicy scenes. There is no 3rd act break up which was refreshing and we also get a bonus epilogue of where are they now 3 years later at the end of the book. Tropes: spicy spicy spicy. One hot tub. Forced proximity. My fave quote: I believe the right person can make love feel extraordinary! 💓
Sienna and Milo are two strangers who have been double booked in the same villa for two weeks. Sienna and Milo are polar opposite of each other. Sienna is like a hurricane who does not like to settle down and likes to have FUN. Milo is calm and owns his own tech company. He likes things to be organized and on schedule. The banter between the two is funny. This book is a mixture of comedy and romance. Sienna and Milo truly have an attraction to one another and you can feel it as you are reading. 🥵🌶️
This was just what I needed to get out of a little reading slump! It was so fun and easy to read. Sienna was unapologetically herself, carefree, independent, and always up for a good time. Milo was all business, structured, and has quite the dirty mouth! 😉 Milo is a walking green flag, the way he treated Sienna! The two together had great banter and really balanced each other out. I found myself chuckling at times and really enjoyed it!
Thank you Simone white for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!
A fun rom com that you might squeeze in before summer ends. It’s a quick and easy read and the book only spans about a 2 week period so it all flows pretty quickly.
Milo and Sienna were lovely. Things moved quickly because of the book’s time frame. Sienna was the free spirited chaos one in the relationship and I thought the way Milo was written balanced her well. He didn’t try to change he, maybe just tethered her a bit. There is a lot of banter too, if that is something that you look for in a book!
The chemistry between Sienna and Milo was indeniable. They are both lovable characters and so different from each other. I loved everything about Milo. He is caring, funny, sweet, sexy and successfull.
The bingo activities were a nice touch. It allowed some great moments between the two MCs.
I have to admit that I found some conversations or sentences repetitive. It wasn't enough to affect how much I enjoyed the story but still noticeable.
I received an advance copy and I'm leaving my honest opinion voluntarily.
I was luck enough to be a beta reader for this book.
What happens after an unfortunate encounter on a plane…….that's right…….it's Sienna and Milo! Little do they know they are both on that plane for the same reason. Sienna was a very quirky and beautifully written character, I loved some of her one liners. Milo is much more serious and a little guarded. I really enjoyed watching these two fall for each other, it's a great summer read! There is also the added bonus of the side characters!!
Such an amazing Romcom. It all starts with one of the best meet cutes I've read. And it just builds from there. The banter is so well written I was kicking my feet around. The spicy scenes were 🌶️🌶️🌶️ that man can talk!! There wasn't some big drama part. The small drama there was fit the story perfectly. Great summer read!!
think this author uses Al. "Then Aria appears beside us, carrying an envelope. "You two absolutely earned this," she says, pulling us both into a hug. She leans in, lowering her voice so only I can hear. "And honestly? You deserve each other."" Use of phrases like "and honestly" is a red flag that points towards Al usage. Does anyone else agree?
While I love me a good slow burn, I also love someone who knows what they want immediately and this book was somehow the perfect combination of both. The chemistry between the main characters, the way their friends and families reacted to it, the full circle moment with the ring…. I am speechless. This book was just *chefs kiss*
What a great read! Sienna and Milo are opposites, but sparks fly between them when they discover they’re booked into the same villa for her sister’s wedding to his best friend. They get to know each other through a wild Bingo game. The spice was spicy, the bikinis were hilarious. I really enjoyed this book!
The banter is hilarious, the chemistry is sizzling, and the tension had me in a chokehold, and I loved every minute of it. I laughed out loud so many times and also swooned so much.
Thank you to Simone White for an early copy of this book 🤍
I loved it, I was laughing and heavily entertained by everything that happened. I would happily read Double booked paradise again. Sienna is officially one of my favourite mmcs and Milo is brilliant. Hands down love them
Wow, this was basically a sugar rush. The whole thing was just sweet and a bit too insta love for me but it was good vibes all around. It did feel a bit long and I skimmed some of the pages but for truly cheesy/ classically romantic people this is perfect
This is my favorite read of the year!! Sienna and Milo are the best couple ever. The author has done such a beautiful job in creating these characters and everything about this book. It was the perfect end to this summer and I envy everyone who gets to read it for the first time.
