Maddy has a final coming up at the culinary school she attends. Kyra, Isla, Glo, Brystol and Teeka all go to support her. The schools head chef is demanding to the point that he makes enemies like other people make friends. The characters that teach there are described very well and temperaments that make them land on the suspect list. OH? Forgot to mention, after the exam is over Chef Cain is found dead, crystalized in his locked office. What I enjoyed was the names of the roads on campus for houses. Cinnamon Rd, Buttercream, every sweet and savory flavor in foods. Isla and team set out to uncover the truth and Glo seems to be mellowing in her attitude to Isla and the suspects, she is a hoot.

A road trip for ladies!

Kyra's daughter Maddy has a final at her culinary school and Kyra, Isla, Brystol, Teeka and of course Glo take a trip to support her.

When the head chef shows up murdered, Isla and the gang are on the case.

I love Glo so much!!!! Also the town names are hilarious in the Culinary School campus.

The characters are so much fun. It was nice for a getaway trip.

The mystery was so well written, kept me guessing and laughing until the very end!

Road trip for the girls to see Maddy at school and, of course, no trip would be complete without a murder. Glo and Teeka really shine in helping Isla with the case. Another fun adventure, this time in the culinary world. What will the holiday season hold for Isla and Jase in their next adventure. Can't wait to find out.

What a story!
This mystery was full flavoured for sure.
I loved the description of the culinary school and magical food definitely sounded good enough to eat but maybe not to die for lol.
Isla and the girls had a wonderful girls time with Maddy and solved the case while they were at it and I enjoyed every page.

The girls are there for the midterm, but then a murder is committed and they need to solve the crime. Lots of suspects, clues and culinary treats. The girls are more than up to the task.
