Good story, bad transitions
The story itself was good but the author is not good at transitions from one event to the next. The author just sort of said " and then this happened..." instead of transitioning. It made the story very abrupt. Also, there are quite a few story errors. For instance, she had a sister named Sera who was with Cain. But later on she has a sister named Seraphine and she tells her "I've never had a sister before." Plus the gate tells her she'll get pregnant in 3 weeks but it doesn't happen for over 6 months. A good editor should have caught most of this and it would have improved the story.

Brilliant
I absolutely loved all the twists, turns, Ravyn and Lyric had to fight their way through trials to prove that they were not dangerous to the supernatural world. All in all, a great story.

Love defies all barriers
This was short book but a page turner non the less. Catches you in the beginning. A story of much a person can endure for love..........hell!! But love got them thru the very difficult times in their life together right to the last page!!!!!

Did not finish
I thought I’d like this one based on the reviews. Unfortunately, at least for me things just got too ridiculous. It was one near disaster or crisis after another and I tired of it.
