I thoroughly enjoyed diving into this latest adventure with the Higgins team. As someone who frequently drives through Ontario and the Wildcat Mountain area on my way home to visit family in La Crosse, seeing these familiar locations serve as the backdrop made the story incredibly exciting and personal for me.
The plot was fast-paced yet perfectly easy to follow. One of my favorite parts of picking up a new installment in this series is getting updates on all the past characters—especially seeing how Sam is continuing to adapt to life after the lightning strike.
The discovery of the Tiffany windows relic was a fascinating plot point. It really left me intrigued about the author's inspiration for focusing on Louis Comfort Tiffany's artistry.
Driftless Reflection is a wonderful addition to the series, and I already can't wait for the next book!
