This is a pretty nifty little book, and that is just a phrase because even though the book itself is not that large, it is very very heavy. The entire book is mostly images, which is exactly what you would want in a book on the treasures of Egypt. It is peppered with small narratives on each item. I wish there was actually more information on the items but I can understand there is limited space when there are so many items to include in this book. I would definitely recommend this as a great visual example of the wonders of Egypt.
A wonderful introduction to the wealth of artifacts contained in the Egyptian Museum. The photos, while I'm sure they can't do entire justice to their subjects, are supurb.
Color photos of artifacts in the Cairo Museum, with short descriptions. Beautiful photos, but the text is inaccurate and the proofreading is some of the worst I've ever seen.
