January 2022. Donald Trump has just become President of the United States through constitutional succession—and the world is already on fire. Rick Fontain, a retired intelligence operative running a covert operation from a Maryland horse farm, is pulled back into service when China, Iran, and Russia launch a coordinated series of strikes against American interests. A kidnapped scientist. Chinese ICBMs being delivered in plain sight on board two Chinese cargo ships. Weapons-grade uranium enrichment inside an Iranian mountain called Fordow. A submarine mission in the Gulf of Oman. A hijacked airliner scheme aimed at New York City. And a mole walking the halls of the White House for over a decade. Fontain and his team have seventy-two hours to stop all of it— but when they think it's over, it's not. MINDSET is the fourth novel in Bill Fortin’s Cold War series—a technically precise, fast-moving thriller for readers of W.E.B. Griffin, Tom Clancy, and Brad Thor.
