Blood Bond #6

Shootout at Gold Creek

Rate this book
Young Matt Bodine and Sam Two Wolves became blood brothers on the day the rancher's son saved the halfbreed's life, forging a bond no one could ever break. As years passed a legend grew of the breed and the white man who rode together--and could jerk killing iron with the best of them...

Shootout At Cold Creek

Matt Bodine and Sam Two Wolves don't look for trouble--it's usually there when they wake up in the morning. When they ride into the little gold mining town of Jordanville, high in the Colorado Rockies, all they want is a hot meal and something cold to wash it down.

When they see an unarmed man getting brutally beaten by a hard case with a bullwhip, their plans suddenly change. Before they can spit, the blood brothers find themselves in the middle of a violent land war and up to their noses in claim jumpers and hired guns itching to open fire. Most men would hightail it out of town instead of poking into the biggest hornet's nest in the territory--but Bodine and Two Wolves aren't most men. They've never run from a fight in their lives--and they sure as hell don't intend to start now...

Very much in need of editing!

This book is the poorest of these 📚 because the editing is the pitts! A four year old could edit this book better than it was. How could a good writer let a book go this bad? It is so bad I think the writer must have been sick! Or dying at least! Joyce

Shootout at Gold Creek (Book 7)

William W. johnston, has done it again. A true western shoot 'am up. Full of excitement, suspense, humor, a dab of romance, fist fights and gun play. Blood Brother's Matt and Sam are so in tune that they act as one, in unison. You will enjoy this read, so "Giddy Up."

I really like the characters of Matt & Sam & have enjoyed all the books that came before this one, & I liked this story too.
I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it had a lot of grammatical errors & even repeating of itself to the point that I wonder if it even had any proofreading done !

Good Story!

I enjoyed the story however poor writing and editing got it the three stars, too bad but this fact ruined a good story.

I like the Blood Bond books

This book while the story was good the mistakes in wrong words and double pages. The words were wrong not spelling but wrong such as two should be two.

Life over wealth.

Another great story with Matt and Sam. Only take another's life only when pushed. As before, the writer brings the reader right along side Matt and sam.

Needs a good profreader!

The story was good but there were so many errors I found it offputting! I do like the series though.

Enjoyed the heck out of this one too, lots of great action, attention to detail, and a real Old West feel kept me turning pages well past when I should have gone to bed.
