Am I normal? You see the question asked all sorts of ways by people of all walks, colors and sizes. The question is asked about issues ranging from sex to eating habits. The question that drives ridiculous self-hatred, harmful therapies, and needless suffering.
Jeremy tortures himself with the question. Angry with his self proclaimed toxic desires, he finds his life in a downward spiral that culminates in a bizarre evening in Albuquerque. With a broken heart, awful memories, topped with a mix of drugs, and too much alcohol, he finds a slew of adventures that leave him bloodied, bruised, and desperate.
In his agony he reaches out to a shrink. Dr. Stillman absolutely fits his needs. This one promises he can cure him. Really cure most anyone, suffering from homosexuality. In six months time Jeremy is convinced of just that until his own mind betrays him in a way he doesn’t completely understand. Jeremy soon discovers the good Dr.’S conversion therapy wasn’t quite what he expected.
Hysterically distraught he decides life has become to heavy. Determined to end the constant pain he heads out to the New Mexican desert never to return. Ryan, his best friend senses something is horribly wrong. Will he get to Jeremy quickly enough? And if he does can he convince him the answer to the question is who cares.
