Darkness in the hearts of men… Darkness like a shroud over the nations… Darkness unleashed to consume the world… Yet small pockets of servants stand against the flood of fear, hate and greed armed with the only effective weapon against such a threat – it is unseen, unheard, intangible, but absolutely powerful beyond compare.
As the third and final book in the Servant of the Light Trilogy, Greater Love wraps up this epic conflict between the Dark and Light (i.e. good and evil) from actions in the country of "Shinla" patterned after South Korea and "Joshin" patterned after North Korea. With a healthy number of plot twists and plenty of action, this culminating battle of the series is essentially the fall of Joshin and reunification of the peninsula. Although the dark forces and creatures they employ give this book a fantasy feel, a lot of what is discussed about the battle would come into play during a real conflict between North and South Korea like weather and geography. I highly recommend this book to fans of Christian fiction, those with an interest in the Korean War and its future resolution, or merely fans of well written fiction leveraging realistic, engaging characters and interesting plots. Although reading the first two books in this series will make reading this one more enjoyable, it is not required since each book is engaging in its own right.
