Ms. Miller, thank you for the ARC. I really love your books, but this one was a bit off for me. Others might like it more. I am not going to give away the plot. What do you get? You get the awesome demon/witch mate bonds, a bit of yearning, steamy scenes, and all the interesting writing we look forward to when we choose Leigh Miller books. There are no battles or intrigue. Nothing to harm anyone or greater problems. It's an easy and light read that hits the right spot. Then, why the 4 stars? Well, I am invested in this series. Maybe this book was not my cup of tea, so I wanted to go with 3 stars (but I have faith). I was never a Soleil fan, but here it just got worse for me. She gets the sweetest rake in all the realms, and she has to go all power hungry or whatever. She can't make up her mind; so sad for Finn. I don't think she honored the bond as she should have (my main issue). All the others nailed it. Serene's story was the best by far. Loved it and will have to re-read it just to be happy again. When Soleil says she wants everything, I get the feeling that she doesn't know what is the most valuable thing in the universe. Also, what is with the demon guys? We began this journey with the king. The last one was about a bounty hunter (he's in debt but he works a lot). This one is practically homeless, jobless for sure, and has no idea what he will do with his life except "worship his mate." Great goals...I guess. I am seriously worried about the next one. I don't even know what is beneath jobless and homeless...

Perhaps we will get some powerful dragon guy in the next one (but just not with Esme the Horrible).
Anyway, I love her books, and maybe this one did not sit with me as well as the others. After Demon's Bounty (which was great) I had my hopes up for something as exciting. Read it and judge for yourself.

Demons Beauty by Leigh Miller was such a fun read! Leigh Miller is one of those authors whose books I automatically want to pick up, and this one was no exception. I flew through it and genuinely enjoyed the story from start to finish.

Compared to some of Leigh's other books, I found this to have a slightly simpler storyline. That definitely isn't a bad thing though, it made for an easy, entertaining read. I also have a feeling that some of the little nuances and details we were given are setting up bigger things to come, so I'm really excited to see where the series goes next.

The only reason this wasn't quite a 5-star read for me was the character development. I just felt like it fell a little short, and I wanted to spend more time getting to know the characters on a deeper level. I was especially hoping for more from the golden retriever/black cat dynamic. It's not a trope I read very often, so I was really looking forward to seeing that relationship explored more. There were definitely moments that hinted at it, but I just wanted a bit more of that banter, chemistry, and emotional connection.

That said, I still had a great time reading Demons Beauty. Leigh Miller has such an engaging writing style that keeps me turning the pages, and even when a book doesn't quite hit 5 stars for me, I know I'm going to enjoy the journey. I'll absolutely be picking up anything Leigh Miller writes next because her books are consistently so good, and I'm already looking forward to seeing what she does next.

4.25 stars. This story is dual POV, well written, and a fast-paced, sweet and steamy, fated mates, contemporary fantasy romance between Soleil, the female introverted witch lead who is about to ascend into her coven’s hierarchy but is feeling overwhelmed, and Finn, the male extroverted demon noble lead who never found a life goal and doesn’t know what to do with his life. I appreciated that Finn’s lack of life goal left him positioned to support Soleil’s ambitions, and I enjoyed that Soleil identified problems with her coven’s hierarchy’s traditions and had plans for improvement. I empathised with the pressure Soleil felt and the anxiety around decision making. I adored Finn’s supportiveness, and his deliberate choice to not pressure her. I enjoyed Finn’s genuine compassion and care, and empathised with the emotional scars his narcissistic father had inflicted. I enjoyed the developing relationship and the steamy intimate scenes. I enjoyed the happy for now ending.

I won't lie, I had exceptionally high hopes going into this and Leigh Miller did NOT DISAPPOINT. The first book in this series, Demon's Bride, was one of the first books I read that took me out of a huge reading slump. So, when Leigh Miller added me to her ARC team... YEAH, I was geeked.

Demon's Beauty is duel POV between Soleil and Finn. Soleil is our FMC, training her whole life to become a Crescent Coven Priestess, and she couldn't be more disillusioned by it now that the chance is finally here. Finn is our fun-loving, light-hearted MMC, who is obsessed with Soleil the moment he sees her.

I SO identify with Soleil. As a former burnt out academic, I also threw everything to the wind in favor of getting a fucking break. May we all get a kind, devoted man who loves us for our intellect, our beauty, and also gets us fresh water because I know you haven't had any all day!!

I'm obsessed with the dynamic between Soleil and Finn. What a way to end the series!

I am in my blonde MMC era and Finn is perfect! I mean who wouldn't want an utterly devoted, handsome, horned and winged, fated mate?? Well...Soleil at first. The woman literally ran away...although this was a bit of theme for her during this book.
Soleil has a major decision to make and flees to tue Demon world when she feels overwhelmed. Here she promptly become more overwhelmed when she runs into Finn and they realized they are mates. Finn is in 100% from the start and he is so patient with Soleil while she processes everything. This book didn't have any epic battles or overt enemies (Finn's dad is the worst), but it was so relatable with Soleil's conflict of what she wanta with life and how she could possibly get everything she wants.
This book was filled with cute and tender moments, lots of steam, yearning, and laughter.

This is the first book I have read in this series. But you don’t need to have read the others for this story to make sense. While there are characters that appear in this story there is enough detail to not feel you’ve missed out.
I really felt the confusion and lost feeling that Soleil presented. After living her whole life as an apprentice witch she felt that she needed some time to just be.
I don’t hink she ever realized that fate had other plans. She meets her mate, Finn. A handsome demon with a carefree attitude. So very different from herself.
Can she decide her future before someone else rips it away? Read the book to find out.
I really enjoyed the book. The world and character building was brilliant

Unexpected surprises (spoiler at end)

This book flows extremely well with the rest of the series, and it’s been awesome seeing this little universe develop over time. This whole book about Soleil and the anxiety around the choices she must make for herself make it very relatable. Being faced with a life-altering choice is no small ordeal, but ultimately trusting the Goddess and what Her plans have in store for Soleil towards the end make the slow burn and emotional roller coaster worth it.

A hint at a Crescent Coven crossover with Monster Relations Bureau? Suuuuper exciting news and I can’t wait to see how the next book is going to build on this idea.

This is such a great series, each book builds a world of witches and demons and of bonds amd friendships. They can be light hearted and fun but also touch upon the characters own insecurities and perceived failings without becoming dark and difficult to read. I think that's what I enjoy the most about them, it's following the characters growth and seeing their perception of themselves change as they evolve in to something stronger.

This books has a little spice, a little banter and a little hint of something ancient. I'm looking forward to finding out how that little hint plays out in the next book.

I'm just coming into this series! I am not disappointed! I definitely will be going back and starting from the beginning to see how everything started and get to know the characters. Wow this was such an interesting book. I instantly fell for the mmc! He's so sweet and worried in the beginning about how his mate is reacting to him. He had no doubt he'd take care of her if she let him. The fmc was a little wishy washy and didn't know what she wanted but it's was ducky understandable in her situation. I'm so glad everything turned out the way it was supposed to! It's was an interesting read to get there! Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I think what I enjoyed the most about this book and the series as a whole is the writing style. It’s so similar to how I think that it’s easy to fall into and lose myself for a few hours.

If you enjoyed the other books in this series, you should definitely add this to your TBRI file (to be read immediately). 💜

Idk what it is with this series but I just haven’t been as into it as I was the Monsters Relations Bureau series. I loved the first book so much but none of the rest of the books have hooked me like that one did. Maybe I’d be more into it if it was an audiobook. I was just so bored and zoning out lol

I am so excited to finally be getting Soleil’s story. I remember meeting her at the very beginning of the Crescent Coven series and I’d always been so curious about her and throughout each novel in the series, she’d make an appearance here and there. Soleil is a powerful witch and it’s clear that there are things that she struggles with even as she’s doing her best to figure out what is best. She is headstrong, intelligent, loving, and bold…she is a fighter for change. When she finds herself called up for Ascension, something she has worked hard for she finds herself at a loss. On the one hand, her work is coming to fruition, but on the other, is it what she actually wants? What happens when she unexpectedly meets her demon mate, Finn?

Demon’s Beauty is a beautiful close to the Crescent Coven series and I’m really glad to have been part of it. The series was one of the first ones that I had read and reviewed when I first started my bookstagram journey. The series has spanned different worlds and it feels like the characters all have lives of their own especially with their mates. I have loved catching up with the characters and their adventures as each novel has come out. If you are looking for a completed series with romance, demons, witches, and fated mates you should definitely check this one out!
