A great little story! The voice of the character was very strong and interesting, and the dog was excellent.

I found Matt's tale in Verbatim books in North Park.

This story had a certain absurdity that you couldn't really find elsewhere. It's first very silly and gives off a smoking off the dock of a lake vibe. Which occurs at some point in the story.
