The First Origins of the Darkest Elder

The story of how a man became something far worse than a monster.

Before there were legends…Before there were whispers of vampires in the night…There was one.

Duncan MacDruston.

A warrior feared across the Scottish lands.

Undefeated. Unrelenting. Unforgiving.

He did not fight for honor.

He did not fight for glory.

He fought… because he loved it.

When peace came, it was not a gift.

It was a curse.

As Viking raids tore across the coast, Duncan finally found what he craved — endless battle, endless bloodshed. But even that was not enough.

Because something was watching him.

Waiting.

Not for a hero…But for the perfect weapon.

Chosen by forces beyond this world, Duncan is offered a power no man should ever possess — immortality, strength beyond comprehension, and a hunger that can never be satisfied.

What follows is not a rise.

It is a transformation.

A descent into something ancient.

Something parasitic.

Something unstoppable.

From the frozen highlands…to blood-soaked villages…to the birth of a creature feared even by other vampires…This is the origin of The Master — the first and most dangerous of all Elders. Inside this two-part

The fall of Duncan MacDruston

The creation of the first true vampire weapon

The rise of Azreal, a creature of nightmare

The destruction of entire clans and lands

The beginning of a legend too dangerous to be spokenThis is not a story of immortality as a gift.

This is immortality as a curse.

True Vampire Horror.

Finished this in one sitting. Absolutely great vampire horror. Not dragged out out with pointless chapters. I can only hope this is but the beginning of many more books. You can't leave it how it ended.
