Welcome to Tracker. This book takes you on a thrilling journey with Richard Tinbell, an ordinary data processor who, because of a computer error, finds himself the most wanted man in the nation. After he receives a routine injection to protect him from a killer virus, he discovers he has the virus.
More alarming is the discovery the government gave him the deadly disease to silence him, because he found out the government is killing off people to save cost for Social Security and Medicare. He must, with the help of a ragtag group of co-conspirators, bring down the officials running this fatal program before the police, his company, or homeland security finds him, or the virus catches up with him.

Hi, My name is Terry Cavanaugh. I am excited that you are looking at my books. I just want to take a moment and introduce myself. I have lived in Southeastern Ohio for 30-plus years. I’m a retired Methodist pastor. I’ve served churches in Belpre, Laurelville, Adelphi, Jackson, Georgetown, Greenville, and others, all in Ohio. I am a graduate of Muncie Central High School, Ohio Christian University, and The Methodist Theological School of Ohio. I’ve served as a police Chaplain for Jackson, Ohio since May 2021.
Tracker is the kind of novel that pulls you in with its mystery and keeps you invested through its compelling characters and steadily building tension. Terry Cavanaugh crafts a story that balances suspense with emotional depth, creating a reading experience that feels both exciting and meaningful.
What stood out to me was the way the story unfolds layer by layer. Every discovery raises new questions, and the sense of uncertainty keeps the momentum strong throughout the book. The protagonist's determination and resourcefulness make them easy to root for, while the challenges they face add genuine stakes to the narrative.
Cavanaugh's writing is clear and engaging, allowing the action and suspense to take center stage without sacrificing character development. The setting also plays an important role, helping to create an atmosphere that enhances the tension and keeps readers immersed in the story.
At its core, Tracker is about persistence, uncovering the truth, and navigating the difficult choices that come with both. Fans of suspenseful, character-driven fiction will find plenty to enjoy here. It's an absorbing read that delivers intrigue, action, and enough surprises to keep the pages turning.
I am grateful to have received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This was a fun book to read. It is also an easy and quick read. Overall, I was kept very entertained and interested in the outcome of the story. The character development and entanglement was nice and fun as well. The version I received did need some edits, but if you get a version that still has some typos, it is worth ignoring them and continuing to read to enjoy the story.
Tracker leans towards being a dystopian thriller. The main characters work at a company that requires vaccines to continue to work there. An unsuspecting employee accidentally receives something that could expose what the vaccines are really capable of doing. This is a timely if not cautionary tale. A good read.
