This was such a fun and engaging read.
The sharp, sarcastic dialogue kept me entertained, and I really enjoyed the well-developed mystical world woven into a modern office setting. The chemistry between the main characters was also a highlight for me.
What I personally wanted more of was the interaction between the two main characters. They were both so interesting that I found myself wishing for more scenes with them together. They were definitely the most memorable part of the story for me. I also would have loved to see more of Jacob’s thoughts and perspective throughout the book.

I got this ARC form the Author herself and all I can say is YESSSSSSS.
I LOVE this book.
There was sarcasms, sass, wit and one ups.
The relationship and interactions between the main characters were on point.
I was laughing the whole time.
Don’t get me started on the side characters.
If you read my reviews before. You know I Love me some side characters.
The side characters in this wonderful story had me wishing they were real. I want them to be my best friends.
Especially Roy.
Roy is that no nonsense bad ass grumpy man. Who bonds over dark humor, humiliation and sarcasm.
My type of guy.
Then there animal friend. And what do I love more than side characters. Yes animal side characters.
This story enthralled me.
It only took me so long to read it because I work many jobs and had time limit ARC to read while reading this book.
I will DEFINITELY be buying this one for my bookcase once it comes out.
I most certainly be reading the next book.

This book feels like fifty shades of grey (without the spice) meets Lucifer meets Damon Salvatore 😂 it was such a ride. I giggled and kicked my feet the whole time. It's a chunky book, over a 1000 pages, but didn't feel like that at all, it honestly flew by. I can't wait for the next one.
The banter between Maya (FMC), Finny (gay mirror, yes really) and Roy (demonic teddybear) was honestly the best part of the book. I adore their friendship. But after the ending I'm also rooting for Jacob (MMC), demon extraordinaire, smells like Tom Ford and his bark seems worse than his bite (mostly). And in Maya he has definitely met his match😈

Unfortunately for me, this book was a huge nope. I didnt find Maya or Jacob that entertaining. Maya was so dumb and over the top. For someone who prides themselves on being so smart, she was so stinking stupid 🤦♀️ I didnt feel like she had any chemistry with Jacob either. Maybe its because of my feelings for them both but they should have stayed away from each other. Over 1000 pages of pretty much me rolling my eyes. Not the book for me even with a beautiful cover.

A refreshing take on paranormal romance with sharp dialogue, memorable characters, and plenty of humor. Maya's determination and her constant battle of wits with Jacob kept me turning the pages. The unique corporate-demon setting makes it stand out. Looking forward to the next book!

A thrilling paranormal romance filled with tension, danger, and unforgettable characters. Maya is a heroine worth cheering for, and Jacob Kinner is the kind of villain you can’t stop reading about. Dark, suspenseful, and completely engaging from start to finish.

Well, this was a fun read. The debut novel of Aya Dim, was an adventure. The morally dark demon with potential for his own soul, a heroin that was so broken by her past, that the glue she used on herself is unbreakable. And a cliffhanger 🙄 let's talk about the good parts because this is a 4 ⭐ read in my book. The characters are flushed bit by bit, we have relationships development, she forges friendship with the security demon and the spy in the glass, but doesn't allow herself 1 second to be anything other then her spiky self. She comes in as a glitch in the system and makes sure she leaves the same way. The "I would have preferred something else, but it's just my opinion": I would have preferred the verbal barbs a touch less. Maybe by 20-30%. I love a good back and forth myself, but it's a bit tiresome at some point. You need some dialogue that doesn't involve barbs and spikes. Also.mister demon, really, you don't get that is not how you make someone choose you?

I love this book's cover. The glow of the chain draws the viewer up towards the enigmatic symbol on the building while making one wonder which character is the titular wolf, and exactly what sense that word may be meant in.
If you enjoy witty sarcasm coupled with thought-provoking moral scenarios, this one's for you. Some might find parts of it a bit predictable but a touch of that sort of thing makes me giggle. Maya's determination despite her unplanned situation makes the reader want to cheer for her.
Though there was quite a lot of conversation, which helps carry the story, it didn't overdo it the way some books do. I appreciate a bit of good narration and the author provided that. The sans serif font makes this story easy to read and I think it's slightly larger than average too.
While perhaps not quite up to the standard I'd normally award five stars to, seeing this is a debut novel by an Asian author writing in English, I'd like to encourage her to work on improving her scaffolding. Her worldbuilding is already tantalising. Perhaps obtaining some beta reviews before publishing again could help her sharper the rough edges.
The epub I received for review worked splendidly in dark mode, generally displaying white text on a black background. I was pleased to see both chapter numbers and titles on the Contents page with its blue internal links functioning perfectly. At the end there's a short bit about the author with where to find her online and a brief mentioning of the next book in the series.

The slow-burn dynamic with the demonic Jacob works precisely because she never loses the plot. She is always more interested in leaving than in him, which makes every crack in that resolve feel hard-won. The Wolf in the Glass Tower is such a fun and original setup. Hell run like a corporation, with contracts and soul collecting and a terrifying demon CEO was enough to pull me in right away.
Maya is by far the best part of the book. She’s sarcastic and stubborn and smart and she actually feels powerful rather than just getting caught up in everything going on around her. I also really liked the supporting characters, especially Finny, and the whole ancient language subplot was much more important than I expected it to be.
Length is my main complaint. The banter, the errands, the every day stuff, does drag the middle down a little. I think the story could have been more streamlined overall. Maya’s constant jokes are funny, but sometimes I wanted the darker moments to breathe a little more, rather than have them immediately undercut by another quip. Some of the supernatural rules seemed a bit vague, and the wolf/Alpha mythology later in the book seemed to come out of nowhere.
But the last act is grand. The escape is tense, clever and really satisfying and I loved that Maya never loses her backbone or just accepts her situation because of the romance.
This isn't a typical HEA romance ending but it actually worked for me and made me want to see what happens next. Creative worldbuilding, a strong heroine, great humor and a seriously good ending. I’ll certainly read the rest of the series.

This was a long read, and I wonder if it could be better if it was split into two books, but end the end, it delivered a good climax and cliffhanger. The premise of the book was compelling and I think fans of paranormal romance will like it more than me. For me personally, this feels like a three and a half star book, but I'm bumping it up to four because I think paranormal romance folks will love it.

This dark paranormal romance pulled me in more than I expected. Maya’s fear, sarcasm, and quiet strength made her feel real, and Jacob’s complicated intensity kept me emotionally hooked. Some moments felt a little overwhelming, but the story stayed addictive and surprisingly touching.

Title is cool.. cover is beautiful and the overall plot is enough to keep you hooked. Maya's character is strong and powerful. Sufficient banter to keep you entertained throughout. The narrative flows smoothly. Overall a wonderful read

I actually loved Maya's independence and determination, reminds of a lil' of me! lol The dark atmosphere, dangerous supernatural world, and constant tension kept me interested. Jacob is definitely not your typical romantic hero.
