My first time reading a novel by Togoro Sasa-san. I read both the web novel and the light novel, so I ended up reading this volume twice...? Well, I'm a yuri sucker lol.

There are some cute and nice additions in the light novel version. I also thought the pacing and prose were better. A few lines were omitted, as expected with these kinds of releases, but the new additions more than made up for it and were better in pretty much every way.

I had heard that Togoro's other works were a lot gorier. There is some gore and action here in the battle scenes, and the SM elements are handled pretty well too. It's easy to tell that's one of the author's interests.

There are a lot of different situations that escalate naturally and play off each other nicely. The way the two girls discover their sexuality together was done well, and I especially liked how shy yet bold some of the scenes felt. Their banter was consistently enjoyable too.

Rococo's illustrations were cute as well.
