I loved this story! After reading Monster, I had been dying to know what went down with Braxton and Ruby, and this book did not disappoint.
Braxton isn’t your typical jock; he’s an artist too, who understands the art of patience. And Ruby—a lover of both bugs and dance—isn’t your average MC. They both kept me on my toes the entire story.
When the two reconnect senior year, something has happened to Ruby that makes her not want to date. But Braxton is playing the long game and takes what she offers—her friendship. As the story unfolds and we learn more about each of them—including what happened to Ruby—it becomes impossible to put down. The ideal book to come next in this series, with appearances by Maverick and Jolie!
