Final Judgment: Book 1
Lexi is a typical 17 year old girl. She goes to high school, hangs out with her best friends Becca and Nate, and loves theatre and cute boys. She is also the last in a long and powerful bloodline of witches, only she doesn’t know it.
Before she was born, Lexi’s father and sister died in a car accident. After finding out she was pregnant, Lexi’s mom immediately moved from a small town in Rhode Island to Florida. Even though she’s fully aware of the supernatural power that will inevitably run in her daughters’ blood, she makes the decision to keep Lexi in the dark about her heritage in order to allow her to live a normal life.
As Lexi gets older, her powers begin to reveal themselves, only Lexi has no idea what is happening. She begins getting flashbacks of previous lives and hears voices telling her that her life depends on her acceptance of who and what she was. Lexi thinks she is going crazy until a new boy arrives at school and takes her mind off of things.
Gabe is perfect. He’s smart, cultured, and sexy as hell. He is vibrant and full of life, and knows just what to say and do to make Lexi completely lose herself. Like Lexi, he lost a parent at a young age, and he struggles with her absence. His brother, Caleb, is another story. He is sullen, cryptic, and seems to have it out for Lexi. For reasons she can’t explain, she desperately craves his approval. She needs him to believe she is good enough for his brother even though she doesn’t really believe it herself.
Lexi’s world begins to unravel when she overhears part of a conversation between her mother and grandmother. She is thrown into a world of magic and chaos, where she quickly learns that things are not what they seem. She becomes painfully aware that she’s not like others - that there are those who want her dead and others that will jeopardize a fate worse than death to keep her safe. But who can she trust? When the walls are down and all the cards are revealed, who will be by her side and who will seek to destroy her?
