Alexis Gold stepped out of the van and used her gun to push the guard to the back of the van. As soon as they reached the back of the van, the guard saw the dead body of his good friend Tommy and a deep moan of hurt escaped from his throat. He turned to Alexis Gold and said, “You dirty black bitch, how could you kill him like that in cold blood?” “Just like this,” Alexis said and pulled the trigger of her own gun. The bullet slammed into the guards head through his ear, killing him instantly. Twin Steels looked around carefully and was glad not to see any splashed blood on Alexis’ white nurse’s uniform. “You seem to love killing all of a sudden now,” Twin Steels said to Alexis. Alexis didn’t answer as she walked back to the driver’s side. When she heard the vans back doors close, she knew that Twin Steels was in the back with the two dead guards. When the van reached the driveway in front of the mansion, a black clad butler motioned Alexis to a specific place to park the van. Once parked, Alexis left the van carrying only the black leather doctor’s bag. Once inside the huge house, Alexis followed the butler to a large room on the first floor of the house near the back. As she followed the butler she could tell that this was more than an ordinary butler and he was armed. She could see the heavy bulge of the gun in the butler’s waist band, under his coat.
This author has done it again. You had me sucked in from the first book until the end of this one.I fell asleep with my phone in my hand reading last night. The woke up wanting to finish the book.Alexis is that HBIC I'm glad she finally stepped up.Frank is a cray mfer lol.Agent Wise got wat he deserved and so did all the Italians. That ending has me wondering r we waiting on part three???
This book picked up right where it left off. Julius is still proving that even behind bars that he is a force to be reckoned with. Alexis is a real ride or die chick, and Twin Steel and his cousin solo are not nothing to play with. Can't wait for the next installment.
These books should all be one big book and not a series. I hate being left hanging at the end of a book, it's worse than someone who quits talking mid sentence about one thing and starts in on something else
