Celebrating Quiet People: A unique collection of motivational, inspirational and uplifting TRUE stories for introverts and highly sensitive persons that you shouldn’t miss....
These stories tell us about how really famous introverts such as Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, J.K. Rowling and Walt Disney overcame, with steely resolve, the most difficult challenges thrown their way.
Above all, they highlight the importance of hard work, persistence, self-discipline, and having a vision or a rich imagination which all Quiet persons are fortunately, naturally endowed with.
The author sincerely hopes that these stories will give you the courage to pursue your dreams and ambitions, regardless of how “outlandish” they may seem to others.
I am currently an Author, blogger and entrepreneur.
I love writing about things that I am truly passionate about.
I believe that my writings should help change people’s lives forever (for good, of course!).
I live in India, in the north, close to the Himalayas. I love the mountains with its temperate climate, snow covered peaks, pine and fir forests, cherry and peach blossoms and the green pastures.
I thought the author did a nice job of succinctly telling stories. Most were interesting and not a bad way to spend an hour of your life. I thought the stories were inspiring for the most part and would suggest it to other introverts as well. You can't beat free.
As someone who grew up in a world where "introversion" was viewed as a character flaw that needed to be overcome, it has truly been refreshing to follow this brilliant series by Prasenjeet Kumar. How encouraging to read about very successful people who have been able to use their powers of introversion to make them more successful! Great read.
Generally rings true, yet doesn't totally jive for those of us who are. Introverts with high degree of intuition. We DO make fast and accurate decisions. The problem is getting others to trust our process. Manuscript is in need of tightening sentences occasionally, but the meaning is clear.
In my youth I was an extrovert to the ex-stream, but the older I become the more introverted my approach to life seems to be. I've always been attracted to introverts, although at times their choices confuse me a bit. This book is short and shares some good insights into this subject. I like the authors approach and would read additional books by this author.
As a quiet person, I really liked this book. The author wrote about his own experiences along with those of other more well known people, which I appreciate since all of our stories matter and can encourage others. This is a good book and a quick read.
