Paul said in Second Timothy 4:7, "... I have finished my course...." Paul got through his phases of ministry and fulfilled all God called him to do. You see, there are phases of ministry that God wants ministers to get into. Not only are ministers to fulfill their phases of ministry, but all of God's people have a ministry to fulfill - if not in the fivefold ministry, they are to fulfill their ministry through the ministry of helps, which means they are to serve in some capacity in their own local church. We must all get into the different phases of ministry God has for us. But many people don't know that. They're ignorant of God's plans and purposes for their lives.
When you're ignorant of God's will for your life, it's dangerous. I don't know about you, but I'm going to make sure I know where I am in my phases so that I can finish my course. You can too. We're all supposed to be increasing in the knowledge of God's purposes.
Will you be diligent to understand your role in the Body of Chirst? Are you going to disipline yourself to progress in your anointing? Will you avoid the enemy's tricks to short-circuit your effectiveness in the Body of Christ?
