Greek Billionaire (Damen & Mairi) Serial #6

The Art of Kissing a Greek Billionaire

Rate this book
It's not always happy-ever-after when you marry a Greek billionaire.
24-year-old Mairi was once an old-fashioned hopeless romantic, a schoolteacher who flew all the way to Greece in hopes of finding her own Greek billionaire to fall in love with.

She found it in Damen Leventis, a handsome billionaire who was alpha to the core. He was everything she had dreamed of...except for the fact that he didn't even know what love was. A lot of tears had to be shed, a lot of heartache had to be felt, before the billionaire finally realized love was what he felt for her.

Now that they're married and with a baby in tow, Mairi thought it's all happily ever after until...that boy. And...that kiss.

There are a lot of cute scenes in the book and I can't help but smile. Happy for Daimen and Mairi. Greek 6 makes me feel good. And yay! Missed MT's writing.

I jumped straight into writing this review as soon as I finished reading it so everything was fresh in my mind and the urge to laugh out loud at what Marian Tee had written was fresh in my mind. Laugh in a good way I might add.

This novella was promised and eagerly awaited by all those that loved the story that Marian Tee had weaved about a girl who had grown up with the tales of Harlequin romances involving Greek Billionaires. I too had grown up reading Harlequin romances and indeed, to this day, they are still a guilty secret of mine (perhaps not quite so secret now!), escapism at its most basic, boy meets girl and a definite HEA at the end.

The whole series has been about what happens when a girl seeks that same romance but in ‘real’ life. In the series we faced their up and down, many, many downs, and then their HEA. But what more could their possibly be for a couple, who let’s face it, have faced pretty much anything and everything that could have been thrown at them. The answer is this!

Those who have read the series will be aware of two females, who were instrumental in some the adversity they faced through the series, having not perhaps received the ending that they well deserved. Don’t get me wrong, there is no great adversity faced my Damen and Mairi in this epilogue if you will of their HEA, well not if you don’t count Mairi’s admirer, just pure Mairi. Those who have read the previous instalments (and I would recommend reading them prior to this) will know exactly what I mean by that.

We get the literal Mairi cougar (I was laughing out loud at both the part why this came about and the culmination of this) and the fantastic ….not sure how to word it, ending seems appropriate, to Damen’s mother. At this I was in peels of laughter, it was written in such a way I could envision it in minute detail, and what a picture was painted!

I will be one of the first to say that in this series it seemed like the author was not sure how she wanted the couple to progress but this was Marian Tee back at her best and the couple back to how I wanted and needed them to be. Yay me, yay you, yay for Marian Tee and yay for Ms Yay!

Please note I was given a copy of this book to review by the author.

im giving it a 2!

if you're expecting a realistic story intelligently written... this isn't it. it's highly ridiculous that it's good.

just how beautiful is she that almost all guys falls head over heels over her? at first sight at that. early twenties. beautiful. intelligent (i assume since she's suppose to be multilingual). and naive.

she fell in love and blurted 'i love you' to damen 3 minutes down on meeting him.

i didnt feel any connection between the two characters. no chemistry. at. all.

damen is in love with her. vhalhos is in love with her. stavos is in love with her. drake is in love with her. leon is in love with her. everybody is motherfudgin nuts over her.

the story is just really twisted and absurd that i found myself laughing out loud at the scenes.

there's also the pacing. one moment she was shaking hands with parents in the classroom, then the next she's putting on her bedroom slippers because the headmistress summoned her. like what?! what? i cant count on how many times i have to back read to confirm i haven't missed anything

the omnipotent pov can be confusing to. it jumps from one character to the next without any warning at all.

there's just too many wrongs in the book. it's just THAT bad that it really entertained me. no matter what i wrote up there. no, i didn't hate it. i can't bring myself to hate it. I READ THE ENTIRE MOTHERFUDGIN SERIES for pete's sake. guess it's a guilty pleasure of mine.

Truth be told I don't remember what I thought first about Greek 6. At the end of Greek 5 I admitted to myself that even though it ended it was kind of lacking despite it's HEA and I'm not sure if Ms. Tee announced announced about Greek 6 before or after that so anyways, I can say that Greek 6 was the satisfying/perfect conclusion for Mairi and Damen's story.

There was of course still the romance between those two lovebirds and can I say that Ms. Tee brought out sizzling heat between them to a new factor especially that ending. I liked that Mairi is still the same person and Damen well, his more overprotective and more alpha male than ever. Plus, how they trust one another and how Mairi wants to do things her way and Damen respects her wishes albeit some small intervention but at least it's a vast improvement.

I won't spoil more but thankfully Ms. Tee was able to make a conclusion regarding his mother. I was more satisfied with that. And the sense of humour is still there and Ms. Tee you make laugh and blush with Mairi.

Oh, and of course I should have known that they would be in the same setting/world of the other Greeks. I really loved how they connect.

Having read the rest of this series today, yes I'm full of cold and feeling sorry for myself with nothing to do but read, anyway I wasn't sure about this one but then I figured why not it's free I'll give it ago.
This book starts with Damen and Mairi married with a baby daughter Nala, in an effort to keep his wife happy Damen suggests they move to Florida so Mairi can be nearer to her aunts, Mairi also returns to teaching.
I enjoyed this more than some of the earlier books but I did notice that two of the characters seemed different in fact one seemed like she'd had a complete personality change, maybe it seemed worse because I've literally read them one after the other all day.

So this was the last book about Mairi and Damen (I wrote their name wrong, I'm sorry).
This book could be categorize this one as extremely cheesy. But for me, I was addicted to this fairy cheesy cute Greek billionaire tale.
It was still that fresh, light and extremely innocent, pure with a kindest that is so Disneyish Harlequinish! yes.
The plus in this book was the maturity, the married life.
Whisk with some cougar and battery chest, all awesome for me.

I still need to read about the other characters, I will get to those soon.

I love that even after everything his mother puts her through she still stays true to herself and doesn't let her affect her like she used too

This is the final installment in the love story between Mairi and Damen. The famous couple finally have a happy ending. That's not to say they're perfect, but they've come along way and trust each other. Damen has learned to give Mairi space and he knows just when to step in. Mairi has learned to reassure Damen, and squash his fears. This series is not only one of my favorite series by the author but it's definitely one of my all time favorite series. It's a must read and an emotional roller coaster!

So this has been my second Marian Tee book for this month and I'm getting addicted! It seems that Ms. Tee has that certain power over me, which drew me to her characters and story.

Damen is unreal, I don't know what to make of him, but one thing I am sure of, he's definitely a dreamboat. Mairi, on the other hand, still mystifies me. Like I have this unfinished business with her that I have to solve and conquer. Ultimately, she's one damn lucky girl.

Would be reading more of Tee's books soon!

As one of my favorite authors said "the story doesn't end when the book does" and Marian Tee showed us what's the story behind Mairi and Damen after their series ends. It's nice to read their story after the supposed "happy ever after". It made them feel more real and more alive than they'll ever be.

I also love that there is drama, but not too much drama. And the humor to Mairi's antics cracked me up and made my day. To put it in our language, "tamang tama ang timpla" (everything is mixed perfectly). The additional characters were also a delight, that is Jane and Leon. They made the story after the happy ever after more perfect. I actually saw a promising hero in the future with Leon. He's still young here but I'd love to read about him after a few more years to his life. It'll be nice to see what he'll made of his life after that conversation with Mairi.

All in all, I really had a great time reading this story and getting to know Mairi and Damen a little more deeper.

What a wonderful love story this is. I love the "Greek Billionaire" series, and this sure did not disappoint. Ms Tee has the ability to make you feel the characters' emotions, and feel them deeply.
The characters are quirky and fun, yet can also be serious. The plot is easy to follow and well written. I wish I would have read the first part to this particular episode, but was still quite capable of reading enough between the lines to figure it out. It is a standalone. I loved the book and hope to read more from Ms Tee in the near future.

This is the last of the Mairi and Damen series. It was free to read and even thought I have not read the rest of the story I knew what was happining. Here is the cumulation of the angst that Damen put Mairi through. He has the nightmares and panic attacks when he thinks she is leaving him again. This is the story that puts all the rest together. He is so beside himself to keep her at his side always. He ....well you realy need to read this series to understand the whole of this part. Love the way Marian Tee moves me in wanting all the parts to come together. Can't wait for more of her works

I just loved this so much!

Mairi and Damen are happily married, but they've still got a few loose ties to finish up. I loved their character development and how their love can still be so beautiful and new like love at first sight.

The story was overall amazing and I just loved reading every scene that happened. It was a laugh out loud moment for me every other minute. It's crazy how fast I fell for this book.

I definitely recommend :)

Happy Reading!

It was Awesome

This was just right in all senses. The right amount of scenes, drama, and right amount of bad guy( or mother in law). I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book about life during marriage. Most romance even shifter books stop after they fall in love and have a ton of kids. Loved all the book and I really cannot think of anything that I dislike.

The Greek and the Cougar

Short story that is cute and funny. We take a look at an event in their lives that happens when Mairi starts to teach again. This incident starts a chain of events that has Mairi being accused of being a "cougar" and ends with a smack down event between Damen and his mom. Loved it!

After finishing this entire series I still find it a bit mind boggling that a supposedly sophisticated Greek Alpha Male would fall for such a ridiculously juvenile (at times a bit airhead?) kind of a girl but I guess that's why this is called "fiction"...The only reason this gets a 3 star is since I did enjoy some of Miss Tee's other books but I'm hoping future book will show some improvement...

Mairi is such a beautiful soul that men just can't seem to help loving her. At her new job she finds this to be true even of her students. This was most definitely a fun revisit to the amazing bound between Mariri and Damen and showed just how unbreakable they now are. Fun story.

I really enjoyed the entire series - my only complaint about this book is that there's not enough details! They briefly glossed over pregnancy and Nala - but I wanted MORE!
