Very good book

If you are one who look to improve your interpersonal skill, then this book is good for you. I learned a lot and the reading was easy.

I read the 1963 Prentice Hall edition. I don't know if it's been changed since then.

I read this book after finishing People Reading, by Beier and Valens. I read it at a time when I was on a quest to help myself deal with some uncomfortable changes taking place in my life as a result of changes made by other people. I thought this book might help me as I struggled through, powerless to fight back and win.

The book helped alot. If for no other reason, I felt understood and not quite so alone. Practically, the book helped me make sense of the situation and gave me some communication tools which I sorely needed.

If you or someone you know needs help constructing an argument or defending hard-earned territory, I recommend reading this book.

This book was much better than I thought it would be considering the year it was written. I consider it a sibling version of the book by Dale Carnegie “how to win friends and influence people.” There are excellent strategies in this book for use.
