It’s the most magical time of the year . . .

Gwen has lived at Christmas Tree Farm for many years. It’s where she’s built a life, a business and a place to call home. But after her beloved husband Paddy dies, it’s time to downsize and move on.

But when nine-year-old Willow, a distant relative of Paddy’s, arrives on her doorstep in urgent need of a place to stay, everything changes. And now, with the purchase of her new property falling through, Gwen needs to make some money, and fast.

With the help of Willow, his mum’s friend Horse, and Lara the social worker, she reopens her business selling Christmas trees for one last season. But with the mega-corporate Christmas Tree World as new neighbours, can her tranquil offering tempt the customers in?

This will be her last Christmas at her beloved farm. But endings can become beginnings, and could love, friendship and a sense of belonging flourish here . . . ?

This was a delightful read that had me smiling as well as crying.
Gwen lives at Christmas Tree Farm, but after losing her husband Paddy, she is finding it hard to keep the farm going so decides to sell and downsize.
Lara is a social worker who contacts Gwen as a relative of Paddy's needs somewhere to stay.
Willow is a very confused, frightened nine year old, looking for his forever home.
This is such a lovely story. How friendships are built, as well as trust.
The characters are well written and warm.
I loved how Will became really involved in the cooking, and it really brought him to life along with the animals.
Horse was just who Gwen needed in her life.
Christmas isn't Christmas without a Jo Thomas book. Enjoy!
Thanks to Pan Macmillan for the invitation to read this in return for an honest review.

Wow what can I say! Another absolutely fabulous read from Jo Thomas one of my all time favourite authors
Love from Christmas tree farm is the most wholesome, heartwarming, cosy, festive read that soothes the soul wrapping you in a luxuriously warm hug as you read.
Centred around two main characters Gwen, widowed and struggling to manage the rambling Christmas tree farm having to make difficult decisions re her future and young Will in need of a temporary home.
What follows is a beautiful read about people of all backgrounds coming together and proving that family is a feeling of inclusivity and love not defined by biology.
A truly great read full of love, compassion, community and not forgetting wonderful spicy food cooked with love, traditional family spice mixes and hope.
Would thoroughly recommend this book
Thank you NetGalley for this early read

This book brought so many smiles !

Gwen and Will are the main characters with many others taking large parts as well. It centres around a old rundown farm, with Gwen at a crossroads after losing her husband Paddy.

Will enters her life and literally its life changing. I won’t spoil anything but it’s lovely and wholesome whilst covering some emotional issues. Lots to be found on Christmas tree farm.

Thank you NetGalley for the Arc

True to the author's style, the food descriptions are mouth-watering and the festive atmosphere is incredibly cozy. It’s an easy, stress-free read that feels like a warm hug.

The characters are straightforward and easy to understand. You will find yourself instantly rooting for Gwen as her journey unfolds and she develops beautifully throughout the book.

There is no hidden depth, heavy drama, or stressful plot twists. It’s just a pure, wholesome narrative that keeps things delightfully simple.
