She’s used to the world watching her. He’s the first man who truly sees her.
Tia Ambrosia has built a global brand on confidence, beauty, and effortless charm.
As one of fashion’s most recognizable influencers, she knows how to command a room, captivate a camera, and make even the most demanding schedule look easy. But behind the polished images, relentless travel, and carefully managed smile, Tia is running on less than anyone realizes.
Then she meets Leo Langley.
Observant, thoughtful, and quietly brilliant, Leo prefers life behind the camera, where he can notice everything without becoming part of the picture himself.
When he’s hired to photograph Tia’s six-week international campaign across London, Paris, and Greece, professional proximity quickly becomes something neither of them expected. Long travel days turn into private jokes. Quiet conversations become unexpected trust. And the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes for Tia to pretend she can keep carrying everything alone.
Leo notices the moments everyone else misses: when her smile comes a second too quickly, when exhaustion slips through the cracks, and when the woman behind the global brand needs something other than another camera pointed her way.
But seeing Tia clearly forces Leo to confront something of his own.
He has spent years believing that caring means staying quiet, remaining useful, and observing from a safe distance. Falling for Tia will require more than noticing her. It will require stepping fully into her life. And when the pace Tia has always managed begins demanding more than her body can give, both of them must decide whether love means holding everything together alone or trusting someone enough to let them share the weight.
Set against London runways, rain-softened Paris streets, and the luminous shores of Greece, Supernova is filled with celebrity glamour, international travel, slow-burn yearning, quiet caretaking, female friendship, and a deeply earned happily-ever-after.
Perfect for readers who love romantic European settings, competent heroines, emotionally safe heroes, and love stories where intimacy grows through trust, patience, and the courage to be known.
✨ A clean contemporary celebrity slow-burn romance about ambition, identity, and what happens when being truly known makes your world bigger, not smaller.

Supervona 📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! 📖 Title: Supernova 🖋️ Author: Mimika Cooney Publication Date: September 22, 2026
Thank you, Mimika Cooney, for allowing me to be part of your ARC Team. It’s been my honour to read Supernova before it has been released into the world!
This review is my own honest opinion. ❤️
Words from the author. “supernova at its core, this is a sorry about the difference between being admired and being truly known!”
Supernova was such a sweet and beautiful romance! I really enjoyed this story and loved its message about finding someone who truly seen you for who you are but also learning to finally open up and speak up for yourself and your health! It was a very easy flowing contemporary read!
Tia is famous and always in the spotlight, but behind the smiles and cameras, she is tired of trying to be the person everyone expects her to be. While dealing with chronic pain that she hides and convinces herself to work through, but also to ease everyone else from worrying about her.
Then there’s Leo. 📷 He was one of my favorite parts of the book. He is quiet, thoughtful, and very observant. Never enjoying the spot light but He notices every little things(because of childhood trauma)- the moments when Tia goes quiet, when she’s tired, and even when she is hiding her pain. He notices how shes always trying to make everyone else life around her easier or how she start to make jokes when shes nerves or feels like she needs to fill in the awkward silence.
I love how Leo sees what she needs before she even has time to realize she needed it. Plus Leo does not treat Tia like a celebrity. He simply saw her for who she really was. ❤️
I loved how the author made Tia feel so relatable. Even though she is a celebrity she also just a normal girl. Even with small details like her running into girls on the street who recognizes her! She has to put on this perfect act for them but then as soon as those girl leave she can relax and be herself again, No acting, no performing! It’s sad but also so relatable how her mom says atleast I don’t have to worry about you, because she always put on a perfect daughter act. As an older sibling I learned to make sure I don’t worry family for anything, get things done on your own. Even though Tia is younger sibling she felt abandoned by a lot of people in her life that she loved and she learned to only rely on herself to hide behind a smile and her performance! I’m glad at the end she saw that everyone still cared and didn’t need her to pretend everything was fine!
Tias and Leo’s love story develops slowly as they learn to trust each other, and for Tia to finally realise she felt safe enough with Leo she didn’t have to put on an act, she could relax and be herself. I enjoyed their conversations, banter, and the way their feelings gradually grew. And, of course, I loved that he falls first and he sees the real, real her not the polished image she wants everyone to see. ❤️ I also loved traveling with them! It’s been my dream to visit Europe and see some of these beautiful places, so I loved that I could experience London, Paris, Lake Como, and Greece through the story. The settings gave the book such a beautiful, dreamy feel.
The part in the book I didn’t see coming was her conversation with her dad. It gave so much inside into why Tia learned to hide her feelings In front of everyone. That was so heartbreaking. I’m so happy she got her answers and finally was able to realise for herself why she was always trying to make life easier for everyone because she stopped expecting anything for everyone.
I loved the emotional growth of both characters! Most of all, thank you Mimika Cooney for making this a clean, closed-door romance. The chemistry came from the emotional connection and all the little moments between Tia and Leo. This was a sweet story about love, learning to trust, healing, and finding someone who truly sees you. ❤️ #SupernovaBook #SensibilitySeries #CleanRomance #ClosedDoorRomance #CelebrityRomance #ContemporaryRomance #RomanceReader #BookReview #Bookstagram
Mimika Cooney hit us with an author quote for Supernova that perfectly sets the stage: "At its core, this is a story about the difference between being admired and being truly known." And let me tell you, this book delivered on that promise in the sweetest, most emotional way!
The setup? A famous, people-pleasing model and a quiet, observant photographer falling for each other.
Tia lives under the constant, blinding flash of the spotlight, but behind the flawless smiles and picture-perfect poses, she is utterly exhausted from playing the role everyone expects her to play. On top of the burnout, she’s secretly battling chronic pain—hiding her flare-ups, pushing through the suffering, and aggressively convincing herself she's fine just to keep anyone else from worrying. Talk about high-functioning people-pleasing at her own expense!
Enter Leo. He’s thoughtful, prefers staying behind the camera, and due to his own past, he notices everything. He spots the exact moment Tia goes quiet, when she’s masking her pain, or when she’s using jokes to cover up her nervousness. Leo just sees her.
Watching their slow-burn romance unfold in dual POV was absolute magic. The chemistry here is all about deep emotional connection, mutual trust, and those quiet, intimate moments where Tia finally feels safe enough to stop performing and just be herself. Plus, the themes around speaking up for your health and dropping the act really hit home.
This is book three in the Sensibility Romance series, and while it works completely fine as a standalone, you’ll definitely get the best experience if you read the series in order.
If you love clean, heart-touching contemporary romances with quiet heroes who fall first and see right through your armor, do yourself a favor and add this straight to your TBR!
Thank you to Mimika Cooney for bringing this story to life, for being a part of your street team and for the ARC! This series and this book has my heart especially with living with a chronic illness.
This is the third book in the Sensibility Romance series. While the books can be read as standalones, the characters and events crossover and you'll get the best experience if you read the series in order.
In this book, we get Tia and Leo's story, and timeline wise, part of the story overlaps with the proposal scene from Mind Reader.
Tia is an influencer and ensures that she is easy to work with and that everyone around her is ok - even at the cost of her own health and happiness. Leo is the photographer that sees beyond the mask that Tia wears. Feelings start to be had as they work closely together on a six week travel photoshoot. When some unexpected events happen, both Leo and Tia are forced to face their feelings which start to breakdown the walls they've built around their hearts.
So far, this is my favorite book in the series. I enjoyed the interactions between Leo and Tia and liked how he was able to see beyond her polished photo ready exterior and showed up for her several times. Mimika is a master at the internal character reflection, and I liked that this book included more character conversations.
I also always enjoy the interactions with the Sensibility Sisters. The friendships between the seven of them is great and I love that each of them are slated to get their own book. At the end of this book, we get a sneak peak of the next book that will feature Shiloh and Mateo.
I received an advance copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Quotes: "Most people look at you. Very few actually see you."
"I forgot people could love each other without turning it into a production."
"The problem is not that I care too much. It's that I have been pretending care can remain passive and still be love. It can't anymore."
"You don't always have to be the brightest thing in the room to deserve being loved."
Oh my goodness! I love a book where the man takes care of the woman. It’s the taking care of someone without wanting or needing anything back that gets me every time. From the start when his pov came up, I was a goner. This is all the convincing I’m going to do. Read this for the green flag MMC!
I liked the whole photograph shooting set. I liked that everything felt natural with the work. I also liked the setting that this book had. I had no idea it was going to take place in Europe.
This is a sweet clean book that I’m positive you will love. It’s different from what I am used to reading, yet it feels like this book will be a comfort read.

If you love: ✨ He falls first ✨ Celebrity × photographer ✨ Forced proximity ✨ International travel ✨ Emotional slow burn ✨ Quiet caretaking ✨ Clean, closed-door romance ✨ Happily-ever-afters
Supernova is the right book for you.
I've been following this series since the beginning. What I love the most are the men. They see their partners for who they truly are. He falls first is one of my favorite tropes. Leo and Tia is a romance for everyone to read about.
Tia has an image that she shows to the world. Leo sees beyond it, at the woman she truly is. He takes care of her. He travels with her.
If you love Supernova, go read Mind Reader and Braided Roses if you haven't already. This series is 100% closed door romance. It's also one of my favorite closed door romance series
So I read an ARC copy of this book and basically: This book follows a story of a young woman who has made a life for herself as a celebrity but she is carrying past hurts and she has learned to mask all her pain under her smile and celebrity status. That is until a photographer assigned to shoot her photographs sees beneath all that pain and teaches her that it is okay to be vulnerable.
I loved how Leo was patient with Tia and slowly taught her how to love herself just as she was and also allow other people to see the real her.
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone looking for a celebrity romance without the smut. It has no language and it has faith elements.
Supernova is a sweet, slow-burn romance with travel, chemistry, emotional depth, and a hero who truly sees the woman behind the spotlight or the lens in Leo’s case!😉
Leo (MMC) was everything—quiet, thoughtful, patient, and the kind of hero who shows how much he cares through the little things. I loved watching his relationship with Tia (FMC) grow naturally through trust, friendship, and genuine care.
The London, Paris, and Greece settings added the perfect touch of glamour. I also loved the themes of learning to let someone in and realizing you don’t have to carry everything on your own.
If you love celebrity romances, forced proximity, he falls first, emotionally safe heroes, slow-burn chemistry, and clean, closed-door romance, definitely add this one to your TBR!
I really enjoyed SuperNova by Mimika Cooney. For me, the dual POV helped me understand both Tia and Leo. It helped drive their story with their respective motivations. Mimika’s writing made me feel that I was traveling with them with them to their various locations, and not just another reader. I also love that this is an interconnected series, and that each book can be read as a standalone. I wasn’t lost in what was going on in the book, and didn’t have to feel that I should catch up or else Tia and Leo’s story will not make sense. I am looking forward to reading more of Mimika’s books.
SUPER NOVA (SENSIBILITY ROMANCE SERIES, Book 3) by: Mimika Cooney @mimikacooney
••I give 4.5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
~She’s used to the world watching her. He’s the first man who truly sees her…
-My friends, SUPER NOVA, is a dear clean, contemporary, celebrity slow-burn romance that is centered around ambition, identity, and what happens when being truly known makes your world bigger, not smaller. I thoroughly enjoyed the celebrity glamour, international travel, slow-burn yearning, quiet and caring caretaking, female friendship, and a deeply earned, and satisfied happily-ever-after. I adored how the romance slowly built through trust, patience, and the courage to be known. What I loved most was that at the center of this story, was the healing that came through acceptance, and truly the difference between admired and to be truly seen. I loved watching characters come to realize and hold onto love with equal care and share! To fully support one another, makes such a stronger foundation for together, ahead! This dear story has such a great balance of humor, heart, and depth. Worth the read!🩷📚‼️
•Content: Mo language, no danger, chronic pain, endometriosis, family reconciliation, professional pressure, emotional vulnerability, faith, and personal identity -all handled with care and without explicit scenes. Kisses only. No spice.
Tia & Leo This is such a sweet, clean read with wonderful values! The setting and overall aesthetic are really charming, but the pacing felt a bit slow for me. Leo notices every single detail about Tia, which is sweet at first, but after a while, it starts to feel repetitive and unrealistic. However, it still has many sweet moments. Even if the plot was a little boring for my taste, it remains a lovely and innocent romance!
Supernova is a clean, sweet contemporary romance set in London, Paris and Greece. One thing I love is how many details the author gives us about the cities they visited - I feel like I traveled there myself! I also loved seeing Leo and Tia grow closer to each other(definitely opposites attract).
This is book 3 in the Sensibility Sisters series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
I was given this book by the author - all thoughts are my own.
I’m such a sucker for a classic romance book! This was an easy read that I’d 100% recommend to anyone looking for a book to make them feel happy 🤗
Tia is always working hard and never puts her or her feelings before others. Always trying to be the stable person when it comes to work. Leo comes along and see beneath her smiles and her “I’m okay”s. He sees Tia for who she really is.

Love the banter and the story line is just perfection. It's a contemporary read that shows the little and big things with love. Leo is such a cute character and his traits make him a favorite. The charagter growth in the book is well done. If you love romance with a good slow burn this is for you.
*ARC Review* This book is really good! I was hooked from the first page, which always bodes well for the rest of a book. I love that it’s sweet and clean and wholesome, but most especially the fact that Leo truly sees her. He cares so much and it makes me so happy! 5/5 stars, definitely recommend if you're looking for a feel-good, clean love story.
This is a well written well told story. I feel like you can connect with each of the main characters. Travel through the story of their healing and their love. I really got into the story and did nothing else to see how it finished. You should definitely consider this for your next read!
This book is a sweet romance. It kept me turning page after page. Staying up late to read just one more chapter..... I definitely recommend reading this love story.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars Thank you Mimika Cooney for allowing to be on your ARC Team. Its Always an honor. This review is my own.
Supernova was such a sweet, beautiful, and refreshing romance! I loved how this story focused on truly seeing someone beyond the image they show the world. Tia is used to being watched, photographed, and admired, but underneath the glamour is a woman carrying the pressure of constantly having to keep everything together. Then there’s Leo—the quiet, thoughtful photographer who doesn’t just see the celebrity everyone else sees. He sees her. And I loved that so much. ❤️ One of my favorite things about Leo was how observant he was. He noticed the little things, remembered what Tia needed, brought her thoughtful things, reminded her to rest, and paid attention to what she wasn't saying. There was something so sweet about the way he cared for her without making a big show of it. 😂 The whole “emotionally stable Victorian husband” description was absolutely perfect! I also appreciated Tia’s struggle with endometriosis. Seeing her deal with the pain and uncertainty made her feel even more real and vulnerable. It also made Leo’s quiet attentiveness stand out even more—he cared about her whole person, especially when she wasn’t at her strongest. Their relationship was a wonderful slow burn, developing through long conversations, playful banter, shared moments, and growing trust. Leo was such a wonderful hero—quiet, patient, observant, and completely captivated by the woman behind the spotlight. The he falls first and he sees the real her tropes were definitely favorites of mine! I also loved the international setting. London, Paris, and Greece gave the story such a beautiful, dreamy atmosphere. ✈️🇬🇧🇫🇷🇬🇷 Most of all, I appreciated that this romance didn’t need explicit scenes to create chemistry. It was clean, closed-door, emotionally driven, and heartfelt, with a faith-touched happily-ever-after. A beautiful celebrity romance about vulnerability, friendship, slow-burn chemistry, and finding someone who sees the person behind the image. 💕 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A strangers to more, co-workers romance with an endometriosis rep. Mimika does such an amazing job with the quotes. I listened to her first two books in this series and I wished I had the physical copy to highlight everything I kept hearing. I loved being able to highlight in my Kindle all of the amazing ones this time around. Supernova is the 3rd book in the Sensibility Romance series but they can be read as a standalone. Each book takes a look at each one of the Sensibility Sisters that is in a text thread through the stories. In this novel, we get the story of Tia, Cleo, from book 1’s, younger sister.
Tia is a fashion influencer and has made her life around making life easier for those around her and not being needy. When her pain becomes unbearable and she can no longer hide it, Leo is right there to help take care of her.
Leo has built his life around seeing what others don’t and viewing life through a lens. Now, he wants to be a part of the scene. He sees the small cracks that most people miss when it comes to Tia and he helps her to see that she doesn’t need to put herself on the back burner.
Some favorite quotes: “Most people look at you. Very few actually see you.”
“Best photographs usually happen right before people remember the camera’s there.”
“You don’t have to earn every moment by being impressive.”
“You know God never asked you to be perfect, right?”
“I think somewhere along the way I started believing that if I needed less, I would lose less.”
This third book in the Sensibility seriea will definitely be a great read for you! I have been following Mimika's series ever since book 1 and I have to admit I am quite impressed with how this seriea has turned out. She has managed to weave a clean and contemporary stories of women making it big in the business world and finding romance along the way. Overall if you are someone who enjoys these type of stories then this is the book for you!
In this one we are introduced to fashion influencer Tia. She has a upcoming traveling tour and sure enough she is going to be super busy. On this tour we are also introduced to photographer Leo and once these two cross paths it is sure to be the adventure of a lifetime. Will these two manage to discover the beauty of romance behind the scenes of the fashion world?
Supernova was wonderful. Tia’s perspective was so rich and authentic I felt the pain and feelings deeply. The witty banter between Tia and Leo was fun and sometimes I was hoping for more. I fell in love with all the locations and descriptions given. I loved Leo’s compassion and caring for Tia and everyone around him. He was an easy character to fall in love with but I wish it went more into Leo’s life and backstory, how he got here to be a part of Tia’s life. I felt a little disconnected from him since there wasn’t a lot of info on his past relationships, work history, or his family/friends. I would recommend the book to someone who loves a good travel romance, the details of all the locations Tia visits are so real you can close your eyes and imagine you are right there!
She’s a fashion influencer and he is a photographer . Together they travel the world for her campaign. I love Tia and Leo together . She’s used to being photographed and he’s used to being behind the camera. They learn more about each other and her quiet health struggles Leo you dig into his family and past later into the book. I love Leo and how he takes care of Tia and the way these two are together . I highly recommend this book . Thank you Mimika and having me on the ARC team
I loved this book!! I can't wait to read the rest of the series to hopefully find out more of Tia and Leo's love story. I love how Mimika includes the inside story of someone living with a chronic illness. She makes the unseen seen, and it's beautiful.
