Brilliant account of Raasay. It starts with the geologic formation, and it goes on to tell the story of the people who have inhabited the island from earliest times right up until 2024. Thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in Raasay, Highland life and history.
The book is not set to be published until 3 November 2026, but I managed to get an advance, author signed copy direct from the Raasay Community Stores.
