2. Book 2: The Millionaire Proposal
4 stars
I received a free copy of the novel The Millionaire Proposal: The Millionaire Family Ties book two by Cheryl Phipps and this review was given freely.
Bittersweet with a touch of steam, a rocky instant attraction romance, a fair amount of conflict and family drama that ramps up at the end, and a happy ending.
Dispirit after finding herself homeless, jobless, and publicly humiliated by her fiancé Mark and their school Principal, teacher Georgia Wilson takes a live in position for the sixteen-year-old daughter of the wealthy work focused author Dane Turner in his rural “cabin” where mixed signals, an instant attraction, and self-entitled exes complicate things shattering Georgia’s hopes for love and family.
3. Book 3
4 stars
I received a free copy of the novel The Millionaire’s Seduction: The Millionaire Family Ties book three by Cheryl Phipps and this review was given freely.
A tragic story of coincidences, anxiety, and love.
After an unfortunate and dramatic first meeting with her sister Liana’s boss results in administrative assistant Liana being fired, the feisty, frugal, and panic attack suffering aspiring clothing designer Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Danvers finds herself suddenly employed as the dog walker of controlling and demanding millionaire Jake Bridges’ rambunctious dog Buster.
Contains the dark undertones of living with PTSD, anxiety, and Alzheimer’s dementia.

Georgia is hired to teach Dane's daughter, a 16 year old as we are told. The adults often refer to Sophie as "a child", Georgia is to give her the "sex talk" and her behaviour never is that of an older teenager nearly young adult but more of a 12 year old.
I wonder how Georgia could teach her the syllabus of tenth grade, is she so proficient in maths, English, physics, biology, geography, and a second language that Sophie would be on the same level as her classmates?
How come, no teacher in 10 years discovered her reading problems and in a private school no less?

The whole plot did not work for me, there were too many inconsistencies, sorry Mrs Phipps.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this romantic novel. Georgia, a teacher, needs a place to stay; Dane, a writer, needs a live-in tutor for his dyslexic daughter. The plot was a page turner with its twists and turns.

"Educating Georgia," is an enjoyable novel that is full of love, friendship, fun and warmth. It is a sweet romance that is wrought with twists and turns throughout. From the beginning, the reader feels drawn in, as if they are a part of the novel, and therefore a part a part of Georgia's journey.

The reader can't help but fall in love with (almost) every character as they (almost) all have such wonderful attributes. There are times you will want to yell at Dane or hug Maria, or crave the closeness between Sophie and Georgia, or revel in the close friendship between Lori and Georgia, or feel comforted by Joshua's presence. You will cheer for Dane when it comes to Mark; hate the paparazzi; want to send Renee far away (another country?) from Sophie; and ask Sarah what her issue really is.

Written with such warmth and joy, this is a novel you won't want to put down -- when you do it feels as though you are saying goodbye to your family for that period of time.

Cheryl Phipps writes with such detail, the reader immediately is drawn to the novel, as well as able to identify and relate to each of the main characters in the novel as she allows the reader to view who they really are.

A perfect read for a day at the beach or a cozy night by the fire. A novel every reader will definitely enjoy.
