Chasing Madison: An International Thriller
Indie Gold Awards 2026 - Bronze
A $32 million heist. A chase spanning continents. Even a perfect mind cannot anticipate what comes next.
Jules Bronsky remembers everything—but knowledge often succumbs to the chaos of life. Fortunately, fixer Atticus Wright and illusionist Skye Duffy are there to keep the brilliant mnemonist alive.
When an exiled Russian oligarch calls in a deadly debt, the trio is ordered to find Madison James—the surpassingly beautiful con artist who disappeared with his $32 million. Deliver her, and the debt is paid. Fail, and they become the next targets.
What begins as a simple retrieval quickly becomes a lethal game of hide-and-seek. Skye is framed for murder. The law is hunting her. The Russian's mercenaries are ruthless. And Madison leaves betrayal and destruction wherever she goes.
From the canals of Venice to the American heartland, Chasing Madison is an international thriller packed with relentless action, unforgettable characters, razor-sharp twists, and suspense that never lets up.
"The writing is sharp, intelligent, and completely immersive, and the action is pitch-perfect." — Readers' Favorite Five-Star Review
Ideal for readers who enjoy the novels of David Baldacci, globe-spanning suspense, ingenious capers, and fast-paced action thrillers.

What says true friendship more than helping your enemies?
The way Bill Garwin’s mind can come up with cons I didn’t even see coming show how good he is at fooling even the reader into feeling surprise. It’s feel-good and hilarious, but anxiety riddled and intense the way we, the readers, are navigated through tight alleyways of unraveling chaotic situations
It’s like a good old fashioned cat and mouse/cops and robbers-esque chase, always one upping and quick on the heels of the opposing side. The interwoven intricacies between characters and how they connect, against or with one another, keeps you focused
I love the way one side is always aware of what the other’s up to, it kept the adrenaline constantly moving, the anxiety high
The humor so blunt you will laugh even in the most serious of situations. The action lights a fire under you, as if you’re in the situations along with them, on the run with danger right around the corner. Another great thing about this novel is the information, the knowledge it shares on a vast array of topics
“Jules was visibly distressed to hear there would be no tiny paper umbrellas.”
also, adorable characters and quotes
I loved Aurora so much and she was only briefly there! More more!
The female characters, new and old are so strong willed and admirable, the dialogue between men and women always cracks me up or softens my heart, depending.
I would love a third book already!
“There is a price for every gift and a cost for every burden.”

This was a true devotion of friendship. Intertwined for different reasons, but all hunted by the same person. The author grasped the characters so well that you felt like you knew them. Even though I was busy and it took me longer to read this one, I was able to jump back in and not miss a beat with the characters. So whether you’re a fast reader or a slow reader, this is definitely a good book.
