At the horizon, galloping against the dry landscape of Texas are three honest to god cowboys.
They are coming for me.

Except I don't want to be claimed by them.

I was born in captivity and I thought my whole life would be just pain, but now that I’m finally free, I’m set on enjoying my life.

No scent-matching. No alphas. No owners.

It doesn’t matter they are the good guys who promise all they want is to make sure I'm safe. It doesn’t matter that’s exactly what they have been doing since we met.

When my heat starts, I know I need them, but it doesn’t mean anything is changing between us. After all, I can do this without catching any feelings, right?

Indigo is a cowboy why choose omegaverse with a Black cat FMC and three delicious cowboys. It's a standalone novella and first in the series.

‼️SPOILERS‼️

I seriously loved this book so much. I love Indigo and her men. These guys are so freaking patient with Indigo and her and her horrible past from being one of the many kidnapped omegas.

When she finds out she’s scent matched to these three men, this girl runs. Like runs by stealing money from them and one of their trucks. Girl didn’t get far. That whole scene had me giggling because really girl?!

The mirror scene was so spicy and I was here for how they worshipped and showed her how special and beautiful she was. I just loved how they gave her what she wanted.

Hank, Nash and Cassidy surprised her by her feelings. I loved the start of the book when Hank freaked out because of his past.

Absolutely loved how these guys will do just about anything to protect their girl.

I cannot wait for more in the series because it has me intrigued for the next omega in line to get their pack.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I absolutely love a grumpy FMC

Indigo has been through so much and just as things are starting to settle. She sent matches. Of course this starts her on a spiral which is absolutely understandable. However, she could not to have scent matched with a more patient pack.

Hank maybe overwhelmingly huge to her tiny self, but he is such a teddy bear and I absolutely adored that. These guys were willing to do anything she needed in order to make her life easiest and that is absolutely beautiful. Even when it hurt them, they refuse to go against her wishes.

Honestly, my only complaint is that I wanted it to be longer.

ARC Review
Indigo
By Amy Oliveira

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a fun, short novella about Indigo and her pack.
When she gets rescued from a very unsafe place, she has to trust more alphas with her safety, but it turns out she is a scent match for a pack of very protective alphas.

There's a whole lot of trust needed between them, but between the 3 alphas, they can give Indigo everything she wants.

The whole storyline is very intriguing and keeps you on your toes. The next book will be just as adventurous.

Indigo is book 1 in the Omega Rescue series. Although this could technically be read as a standalone novella since it has its own storyline and HEA, I highly recommend reading a few other novellas first. Amy Oliveira has written a few other stories that take place in this same world and predate Indigo. There also is an overall arc, events and a setup of this world that runs throughout all the books. I have enjoyed each and every one and if you love an Omegaverse genre as much as I do, I recommend you start from the beginning. Here is my reading order recommendation.

The Lost Omegas series are short novellas that absolutely stand on their own but give a great introduction to this Omegaverse world.
• Knotting Before Them is book 1.
• Knot That Simple is book 2.
• Knot In My Plans is book 3.

The Rough & Rugged Alphas series is also part of this universe and starts an overall multiple series arc.
• Wild Darlin' is book 1 and have characters and events that will definitely carry on into the next books and series’
• Unsafe Haven says it will release November 2026 and I cannot wait for this one!

But in the meantime jump into the Omega Rescue series.
• Indigo which is book 1

I really enjoyed Indigo. This is an Omegaverse novella and an entertaining, quick and easy read. Expect a why choose with a MFMM pack, traumatized omegas who were rescued from a trafficking operation and a whole lot of spice (why-choose and all that!) Oh, and let’s not forget the sexy cowboys! If you are a sensitive reader, be sure to check the author’s content warnings.

I am on the edge of my seat for another book in the series since some of these omegas seem feisty and strong and their back stories are intense and I cannot wait to see them find their own HEAs!

Wanted to start of by thanking you for think book as I got is as an ARC copy.

Now to start of with some of the things I learned WHILE reading this book... Also

⚠️SPOILER WARNING ⚠️

- it's a novella ( I didn't know that going into it)
- its interconnected? I'm not %100 more like %87 sure ↓ (I just got really confused on whether it is or not, I need one of those authors universe maps, LoL)
- it's interconnected in-between wild darlin' and (new ? Book) unsafe haven and possibly another book too

It's about indie briefly mentioned in wild darlin' it's her mini storyline which felt rushed.... Hea unearned and ends (not main MC's but other side characters) on a cliffhanger (probably unsafe haven's story)

The whole thing felt like one of those epilogues that authors give you after a book not as a whole mini book.... Which I was honestly really bummed I didn't like it more as I really like this author's writing style and other characters / books.

It was too short / rushed to be satisfying

Things I did like about this book:
-the writing style
-the trigger warnings ( yes they are used and yes I am that kind of reader)
-the fact I will probably appreciate / understand the next book more after reading this
-an hea (even though it felt rushed)

It's a good book but I would recommend reading it's after wild darlin' (read that one and loved it) and unsafe haven's story and hopefully it will make more sense / wrap everything up.

*I also think it's connected with her other book called lost omegas but not %100 sure... If anyone figured it out / know please let me know.

Indigo is an omega rescued from a horrible situation. She was being held captive along with other omegas where she was seen as merchandise and nothing more, she had no rights and no voice. She finds it hard to trust anyone, she’s a survivor and all she wants is to be left alone what she didn’t want was to scent match with three alphas.

Hank,Nash, Cassidy had given up hope that they’ll never have an Omega of their own until Indigo comes into their lives but what they weren’t expecting was for their Omega to be in so much pain and hurt that she doesnt want them.

Indigo is afraid that they will treat her the same way as the alpha’s who had kept her captive. But they will prove to her that she is theirs to cherish, to worship to protect and to bring her comfort. Their hearts ache for her and her only 💕💕

Expect:
🦋Omegaverse
🩵Why Choose
🦋Black Cat FMC x three delicious cowboys
🩵Yearning
🦋Scent Matching
🩵Traumatised Omega
🦋Standalone novella first in a series
🩵Read the CW’s

This was such an incredible emotionally driven read and for a novella there’s a lot happening in it. Indigo has been through so much, the sadness, rage, determination she feels that she won’t be prey anymore and Hank, Nash and Cassidy her lovable cowboys who give her hope that she deserves a future filled with laughter and love, and to be her Alphas. There are dark themes as well in this book so do read the CW’s.

I went into this book completely blind, and what a surprise it turned out to be! From the very first pages, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. When I finished, all I wanted was more from these characters.

Amy Oliveira has such a talent for drawing me into her stories, and this one was no exception. I absolutely loved Wild Darlin’, so I was hoping for another amazing read, and she delivered. This story was everything I hoped for.

My heart broke for every one of these characters. Indigo’s trauma and the struggles she faced were heartbreaking, while the men’s longing for their Omega never believing they’d have the chance to find their scent match made their journey even more emotional.

Although it’s a shorter read, it never feels lacking. It’s packed with emotion, heart, romance, and healing, and I loved every moment of it.

🚨 Please be sure to check the trigger warnings before reading, as the story explores several sensitive topics.

Another sweet omegaverse brought to you by the amazing Amy Oliveira. This one had all the same sweet alpha types, but a new kind of Omega.
In this universe Omegas are rare but well known about, to the point there are hundreds if not thousands held in black market captivity.. some born and raised in that captivity like our girl Indigo.

She knows nothing outside of what her captors lets her know or what the other Omegas trapped with her (not all were born into it) and then suddenly she is rescued and placed in a semi sketchy safe haven with her fellow omegas. She doesn't want an Alpha or a Pack, if it was up to her she would never be touched again (which is a terrible fate for an omega in my opinion.) But one misunderstanding and a couple of outfit changes later and suddenly there is a pack desperate to convince her there are good Alphas in the world, ones that believe in love and consent, and an unexpected heat might be just what they need to do it.

Give this quick Omegaverse book a read, and find out if This pack can change her mind and show her the softer side of Alphas. Indigo certainly doesn't make it easy, but what worth having ever was.

Indigo is an Omega with a rough past that shadows everything she does. When a connection starts forming between her and three cowboys, her first instinct isn’t trust — it’s fear‑driven panic. She runs from them because every part of her body is convinced danger is coming, especially with Hank, the biggest of the trio, who has scared her from the very beginning.

The book handles trauma, fear, and the slow, uneven process of feeling safe again. Indigo’s history shows in every reaction. Hank, Nash, and Cassidy respect her boundaries and let her move at her own pace, which is why she eventually starts seeing them as something other than a threat.

It has a happy ending, and the reverse harem setup adds tension on top of Indigo’s internal struggle. It’s a quick read, and I could’ve easily stayed with this quartet longer — and I really hope Indigo’s Omega friend gets her own book, because her fate was left intriguingly open.

I had such an amazing time reading this!

I read Wild Darling back when it was released and absolutely loved it, the trafficking plot line was so intriguing that when I knew about this novella I was hooked right away. But of course, you can read this novella as its own so zero worries about it.

Now into this story, I loved Indigo as a character, she has suffered so damn much her whole life that this barriers she has lifted around her have total sense although if one pack could get to her is this guys… they’re such a bunch of softies and green flags, I’m so happy that Indigo is found to have them in her corner ❤️

This novella in such a short time touch so much trauma with a delicacy, depth and kindness all of it with relatable and genuine characters that I just say that I would gladly stayed for a full book with them!

Can’t wait to read the story of some of the other girls, they definitely deserved their HEA too!

This is a review from an advanced copy from the author.

Indigo was such a lovely, emotional novella. 💕 It follows a group of Omegas who are rescued from a trafficking gang, and we get to follow Indigo as she struggles to adjust to her new life.

After everything she has been through, Indigo understandably finds it difficult to trust others. When she scent matches with an Alpha pack, she panics, and runs away. The pack have to patiently earn her trust and show her that they want *her* — not simply a mate.

What I really loved about this story was the way it explored the emotional impact of abuse and the journey towards feeling safe again. The pack's care, patience and support for Indigo felt genuine, and I loved that they made it clear they valued her as a person first and foremost. 🥹❤️

A short but surprisingly emotional read that packed a lot into its pages.

Why choose omegaverse with 3 alpha cowboys and a grumpy black cat FMC.

I loved how Indigo’s difficult backstory was handled in this book and how she didn’t immediately jump into the alphas’ beds, but actually took the time to get to know them before she trusted them.

The way the 3 alphas handled Indigo and her past traumas was well written and I loved how they never pressured her into doing anything, even though they were ready to accept the mating bond.

I’ve read Wild Darlin’ by the author before and absolutely loved that book. This one was also a good one, but didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Not a bad book by any means, but after Wild Darlin’ I was expecting a bit more. Also, the MMCs were, in my opinion, a bit too similar to the MMCs in Wild Darlin’

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.

good read

This is a very quick read. The omegas in this book are traumatized beyond comprehension. Some are handling life after rescue better than others. Indigo is one of those that’s struggling. Then to go from craving your freedom to finding your scent match is a lot. I don’t blame indigo for wanting to run.

Good thing these cowboys aren’t afraid to go after their girl. I love that they fought their instincts to keep their word and do what they can for Indigo without breaking her boundaries. They proved with their actions they aren’t alphas who are all talk. They back it up.

I’m definitely curious about what’s next in this world. I have questions and I’m curious to see what info I might get next.

Prescription for Solitude

Indigo is a spitfire. This Omega has a back story that gives so much reason as to who she is. With her past shaping her, she has to learn life can and will be different... But you know the saying the devil you know...? Cassidy, Hank, And Nash are our Alpha pack and boy are they ever. These men have their work cut out for them. With the patience of saints these alphas will try to reshape everything Indigo knows as bond, into something that resembles the life they all want and deserve. This quick read packs a hard punch that leaves you reaching for more, can't wait for of this Omegaverse!

Often, I feel like short novellas are rushed and don’t feel complete, but this book did just the opposite. You’re thrown straight into the story, and the multi-POV works so well. You immediately get to know the different characters and their stories, and everything evolves beautifully.

It’s a spicy novella with some heavy themes, but they’re handled in such a respectful way. And I can’t get over how hooked I am on omegaverse now. I just love how they worship their women while still being so respectful and caring.

The crossovers with Wild Darlin’ were amazing and made me even more excited for what’s to come. I can’t wait for the upcoming books!

let the grumpy girls shine

“Most authors are scared of writing an unlikable FMC, and unfortunately, what gets labeled unlikable are generally FMCs who display traits that are loved in MMCs. Grumpy, leave me alone type, full of attitude.” Amy Oliveira includes this in her author’s note at the end of Indigo & honestly it speaks volumes about how loved Indigo is. Both by the author and the mmcs. I loved watching indigo get her flowers. The fact her fire is never extinguished makes me so happy. This was such a cute read despite the heavy undertones. It makes me so excited for the following books!!!

I love that this picks up about a couple of months after the rescue in Wild Darlin’. I really like this universe and I can’t wait for more to come from it!!

Seeing the world through Indigo’s eyes was such an amazing aspect of getting the chance to read this. Understanding her way of thinking especially when it came down to finding her scent matches was just a heartbreaking thing to read. She’s so skeptical of everything and the guys – Hank, Cassidy and Nash – try so hard to make sure that she’s in charge of everything and in control of any decisions.

I think Indigo’s black cat attitude is really balanced out by the loving and chaotic shenanigans that the guys do to make her feel more comfortable. They’re so protective of not just Indigo but all of the omegas that they were in charge of protecting and relocating.

The mirror scene was just perfection and I love that the guys make sure she has autonomy every step of the way.

I had to laugh at the: Mustache daddy lol

Very emotional Omegaverse with some pretty dark undertones. Indigo is rescued from an omega breeding ring, but all she wants is to be alone in the woods. She definitely doesn’t want to find her scent matches and subsequently go into heat. Nash, Hank, and Cassidy are so happy and excited to find out that they have a scent matches, and it’s even better that it’s Indigo. They’ve all been drawn to her since her rescue. They do what they can to help Indie through her heat, all without violating her wishes. They show her that there are good alphas out there!

After reading Wild Darlin’, I really hoped we would get more stories from that world, so when Amy announced that the rescued Omega books were coming, I was so excited.

Indigo spent her life in captivity and being abused, she does not want a pack, she doesn’t want anyone, she wants to be left alone, so when she scent matches with 3 alphas, she runs.

These three are so patient with her, so caring, they fall hard and fast and would do literally anything for their mate.

A great novella and I can’t wait for more.

Indigo's Story
This was a quick and fast paced read. It had a bit of danger, drama, lots of feels, and spice.
Most importantly, Indigo and her alphas get their HEA.
I really liked Indigo. She was definitely a survivor and had more strength than she gave herself credit for. I was happy to see growth, some healing, and a softer side in the end.

Cassidy, Nash, and Hank were patient, protective, and encouraging.
All in all, I loved their story!

Thank you Amy Oliveira for the Pre-release Copy. My honest review below is posted voluntarily.

Oh, my poor Indigo! This Omega(along with the other) had it so bad in captivity! No wonder she hates men. My heart broke for her evertime she broke. I loved that Hank, Nash and Cassidy were so sweet and respectful of her wishes. 💜 I enjoyed reading about them, and Indi's healing journey.

I'm excited to read about the other Omega’s and how they find their own packs.

I absolutely loved Indie and her guys. Her pain and fear was felt, her armor was understandably thick and seeing her learn to trust the guys and lower her walls was so heartwarming. The guys were all so different but united in their feelings for her, and they were so patient and caring with her. The storyline was good and it had me captivated. I can't wait for the rest of the stories in this series, I know we're in for a wild ride.

Ingido hits you right at the start and keeps the punches coming throughout the whole story. Everything is absolutely heartbreaking for everyone involved, and I was teary eyed the whole time. But do not be deterred - there were happy tears right along with the sad ones, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I fell in love with these characters so quickly, and I'm in desperate need for more stories in this world.

Indigo story was one of heartbreak of discovery what you are capable of when you have that freedom that was denied to you. Of finding a love that at first you don’t trust but with time and patience it blooms into a beautiful love. Indigo had a hard journey but with Hank,Cassidy and Nash at her side she became the most beautiful strong omega.

This omega lived such a sad story. So much trauma that it seems like it would be impossible for anyone to get over. Indigo was a strong little spitfire who let her trauma haunt her and set her ways. It took three strong alphas to make her see her worth and snap her out of the sad existence she created for herself.

I really enjoyed the story and their relationships that were building!!

This one was so sad, indigo went through so much and thought that because of her trauma that she would never trust anyone, have a pack or have sex again until these 3 handsome cowboys changed her mind.

Loved reading more after ‘Wild Darlin’

These 3 Alphas were perfect and patient with Indie 🥹
