I had my eye on Damien through the series wanting to know more about him and Alyssa. I was not prepared to fall head over heels for him.

“He was sexy and handsome. Everything about him – the bright blue pronounced Mohawk, the studded leather jacket, the gory tattoos that covered his body, the hard set of his jaw, and his confident walk – all screamed defiance and attitude.”

Damien’s appearance was rough and tough on the outside and on the inside he was in turmoil. He had a heart of gold, but was unable to share it feeling he was not capable of loving or being loved. The only love he knew was his bass guitar, his Johnnie Walker and a little yellow pill. The pill was the only thing that could dull the brutal memories of the wretched mother he was abused by. That was until a new employee walked into the tattoo shop and pierced not just for a living, but his heart as well.

“Sometimes he wondered if he was even capable of loving another person. His heart was in a perpetual state of lockdown. It was imprisoned behind a brick wall and incapable of experiencing anything except anguish and pain. Until he met Alyssa…”

No matter how many internal red flags popped up for Alyssa, she could not deny the attraction. He was her match in every way, but she has a few tricks up her sleeve to knock him right out of his boots.
No matter how Damien thought he could never love, he could not stop the feelings he had for her. She was his soul mate, his lifeline, and his equal in the bedroom. The only way there would be a future for him was if she was by his side.

Beyond the touching romance was the rise of Immortal Angel and how it all began. I loved seeing how deep of a bond Angel, Damien and Jimmy had before Tommy made the band complete. The author does an amazing job of proving time and time again that love is love regardless of appearances and you can NEVER judge a book by its cover. This series just keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait to see Jimmy has going on.

Damian and Alyssa's story has been my favorite so far in this series. Damian is certainly the most tortured of the characters and had a nutcase for a mother. Her abuse left physical and mental scars on him and he has used drugs and alcohol to quiet the demons in his head. He lives for his music and finds brotherhood with his friend and bandmate, Angel.

But when he meets sassy hot piercer Alyssa, it's as if his world has color-it's no longer just black and white. She makes him feel things and he actually looks forward to the future. But what will happen when he can no longer keep his abuse issues a secret? Will Alyssa stay the course with him or let him go?

Loved this story and these characters.

5 Electrified Guitars for Punk Rock Resurrection

Author Jenna Galicki has been on my radar for quite some time; several books in this series have been on my Kindle in excess of a year. I am not really sure why it has taken me so long to get around to reading the series, but I am finding myself completely immersed in it. I absolutely love Jessi's style and find myself wanting her to be my personal stylist. But I digress, this book is Damien and Alyssa's story.

I fell in love with Alyssa when she and Jessi stayed behind while the boys toured Asia. I have been intrigued by Damien and the references to his addiction. And, let's face it, that blue mohawk is just cool. I was a bit surprised, though I really shouldn't have been, at just how emotional Damien's story was. Fantastically written, it just leaves me wanting more Immortal Angel and I will be jumping into Jimmy's book very soon.

All of Ms. Galicki's books are for adult audiences only, for language and explicit sexual situations. For those who fond the m/m/f in Jessi/Tommy/Angel's books, this book is strictly m/f. There is some kink and I guess you would call it BDSM in this book, but in a refreshing, very much not your typical 50 Shades kind of drivel.

Highly recommended series for open minded lovers of rockstar romances.

OMG has Jenna Galicki has done it again !! This book is better than her other books!! You are able to read this one as a stand alone - I was given an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest opinion. This is Mis Mousey's very honest opinion of her PUNK ROCK RESURRECTION"The way she is able to bring a tragic story into a love story is pure genius! Her writing is amazing and so is her creativity. As she takes pen to paper -she draws you into the world of rock and roll. Ms Galicki brings her characters to life jumping right off the pages at you. You can see them actually playing their instruments and jumping around on stage . She has a true way with words and storytelling. Ms Galicki story and cover is totally off the charts .

This is how the Immortal Angels started - this is the story of Damien and Alyssa together. How they met and get to know each other. How Damien is able to over come his demons of his childhood. And boy does he have many.

In Punk Rock Resurrection you really get to met the original band members of the Immortal Angels. Damien was into ink (tats that is ) has a shop with a man by the name of Spyder. They hire Alyssa as an artist - and she sure does bring in the customers in the.

As you read this book - you get and in depth look into the life of Damien Diamond and how he came about. And how he over came his past -let his heart find love with Alyssa.

This book is written for adults -and Mis. Mousey gives an a firm rating of 45 out of 5 stars. The cover of this book is totally off the charts and so is the story!! YOU HAVE TO RUN AND GET YOUR COPY OF THIS ROCK AND ROLL BOOK NOW!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

EEEP!! I loved this book insane amounts!! I was a huge fan of book 1 and 2 but Damien kinda made me wiggle my eyes and think HRMMMMMM......Something about the blue mohawk I guess. I was so exioted to get his back story and the love story behind him and his rock, Alyssa. That chick is just bad a$$!!

Damien had a horrible life and he was just living...surviving.....floating through his days. Then one day a tall, exotic beauty walked into the tattoo shop he worked at, EVERYTHING Changed!! Alyssa was the breath of fresh air he needed. She challenged him, excited him and made him want to live. He will do anything for this temptress in high heel boots.

Alyssa knew Damien was not a good decision. She knew he was not good for her but the draw they have was insane. Her heart was fully invested after the first date. Their mutual love of piercing and needles was insane. He loves to receive and she loves to give!!

Damien has to work out alot of black that is marring his beautiful, giving heart. When Alyssa cant deal, he tries to do better until the demons come back and haunt him even more. My heart was breaking for this couple who are so in love but so torn apart.

I cant wait to get the next book.....because the build up for Jimmy's book plus the secrets of Jessi and the "stalker" are gonna be epic!!

Hot, emotional and amazing

I was so excited to read this. I purposely set it aside to read on my flight to California. Big mistake. This book had me all hot and bothered on a plane full of people. Not to mention when my heart was breaking for Damien and I had tears in my eyes.

Jenna Galicki tells such great stories. I always liked Damien and Alyssa but this book made me fall in love with them. Alyssa is the cool chick that I want to be. And Damien is one sexy naughty boy. He was so much fun. I adore them together and am so glad I got to read their story. Really loved getting more of Angel and Jimmy. And it always makes me happy to see Tommy. Jenna writes really great characters that feel like family. I can't wait to see what she has in store for Jimmy.

Loved it!!! This is the book of how Damien Diamond and his wife Alyssa met and boy was it emotional. My heart broke so many times for him. If I could just reach in this book and hug him I would have. Damien is always the guy who tries to make everyone smile but deep down he's in so much pain. I loved his relationship with Alyssa and I feel like they are the perfect match for each other. I love how close the band is and also Angel's family. There is just so much love and I could really feel it throughout the book. Thank you Jenna for another amazing book.

This was a great emotional story. Damien Diamond is a troubled soul burdened by his past. While his past has defined who he was, he has now not let him stop from living his now and future.

Alyssa has found the love of her life and realizes that he is what she needs in her life.

Jenna has written a great book with the depth that the story line needs to convey the subject matter.

Angel Immortal

The story of Damian and Alyssa was great. It was so good to know what had happened between them. Great story line and so much going on. As I have stated Jenna's book about rock stars are the only ones I read. I am hooked on her rock books. I have read all three. Cannot wait for the next one.

Damn! I need more of these two! Damien is so hot and Alyssa was a cool chick. Their story moved from the present to the past and back. I'm glad we got the whole story here. It's an incredible one. If you enjoyed the first two in this series, you won't be disappointed. These two have serious chemistry and draw you in from the first page!

What I really like about Jenna's work, is that she isn't afaid to push buttons and she won't just toe the line. This story had me hot and bothered, angsty and sad, gripped into a HEA. Turning page, after page just because I was deep into a story that I needed to see the end of. All the feelings, with a cocktail of rock and a side dish of drama.

Immortal Angel is finally back again!!!
This time, it is the story of Damien and Alyssa and how it all began with the band.
Although PUNK ROCK RESURRECTION is the third book in the Radical Rock Stars series, it is placed before the previous books of this series and can easily be read as a standalone.

This is the story of how Damien, the brooding bassist of Immortal Angel, met his lifesaver and wife Alyssa – the woman who helped him overcoming his troubled and rough childhood.

Damien is deeply wounded by how his mother treated – or, well, not treated him – it is something he cannot overcome on his own other than by drowning his pain in alcohol and pills – best a mixture of both.

There is only one occasion he ever feels alive: When he is playing his bass guitar.
That is, until Alyssa starts piercing at the tattoo shop he is working at. She is the Yin to his Yang and brings out passion and feelings in him he never thought he was capable of. She also shows him how it is supposed to be when you are loved by a woman. …and how a woman can spike up the bedroom.
These two together have fire and are made for one another, if only Damien is able to find closure with his past… and his addiction.

Damien literally broke my heart. He is so lost and unable to willingly accept the help from anyone. It is Alyssa who made him want to be a better person – for her. He falls deeply in love with her and her sassy ways, and although it will not be easy, he is determined to become the man Alyssa deserves.

I loved reading about Damien’s past, about the events that formed him to the man I got to know in the first two books of the series. It was also amazing to learn about the beginning of the band, how the deep dedication to their music helped them to gain the popularity they deserve.

Jenna Galicki’s way with words is incredible – the emotions that poured out of the pages are heartfelt and shear endless! She formed a tragic story into a beautiful romance that brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion.
Her writing is amazingly vivid, you can literally see and hear Immortal Angel jumping around and performing on stage! It’s like you are part of the crowd, watching and cheering for your own favorite (punk) rock band.
If you are not a fan of rock’n’roll already before you read these books, you certainly will be one afterwards!

While the first two books were an M/M/F romance, this one is purely M/F. So if you were afraid to start this series because of the gay elements, you should give this book a try. You will fall for all the band members and certainly want to find out about the stories of their lives as well.
Don’t miss out on this brilliant series!

I will now desperately wait for the drummer Jimmy’s story!

Nikki K’s review: 4.0 OOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)

PUNK ROCK RESURRECTION Radical Rock Stars: Book Three Author: Jenna Galicki The old adage “don’t judge a book by its cover” certainly works for Damien Hardy. His PUNK ROCK image would lead one to think he is no more than a rebellious irresponsible punk. In reality he is a sweet, gentle musician who happens to like blue mohawks and the Ramones. Damien’s childhood was lacking in many ways but most of all in love. Never did he ever think love would be a factor in his life, unless you’re talking about the love of his bass guitar. Alyssa Taylor is a goth goddess with a sadistic sensibility. A one time nursing student, she finds she has a penchant for sticking people with needles. Realizing her talents are better served in a nontraditional profession, Alyssa embarks on a career as a piercer in a Tattoo studio. The same studio that Damien works in for tips and free ink. As a free spirit, Alyssa was not looking for love or a relationship, but she didn’t run from it when she found it. As soon as the two meet, it’s instant chemistry. Never is the question “if”, but only “when”?! When will their punk and goth worlds collide? Will they be able to overcome Damien’s demon’s from his past. Is Alyssa able to overlook the black heart displayed on his chest in favor of the living man beneath the colorful surface? My only critique is that the level of pain and torment that Damien displays seems disproportionate to the details we are given of his past. I know it is macabre to say I was looking for the real pain to be brought to the surface, but that’s what I did. I would have liked a more detailed account of the real abuse he suffered. It would have made his actions more understandable. However, the depth of his emotional state is very evident and his need for love and acceptance is heartbreaking. Overall I enjoyed the story of Alyssa and Damien’s blossoming love. While I love the “Alpha males”, seeing a vulnerable man able to let his submissive side be shown was hot. When he allows Alyssa to take command of their sex life, I must admit to being nearly as excited as Damien. If you like hot tattooed rockers, kinky sex and a Domme with a soft side, you’ll really enjoy Punk Rock Resurrection. ** I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books

This is book three in the Radical Rock Stars series, but you don't need to have read books one and two before this one. This is Damien and Alyssa's story.

Damien and Alyssa have been together several years when the first two books are set, and this is set mostly in the past, telling of their journey to get to the point that the band, Immortal Angel, are getting ready for the third leg of their world tour.

Damien. Oh, Damien. His childhood was miserable, and held no love. His mother (and I use the term very loosely!) made it quite clear that her life was ruined because of Damien and he suffered every day because of it. He pulled himself up, got a job, and is playing bass with Angel, Jimmy and the lead guitarist before Tommy (but he plays no part here, other than being mentioned a couple of times and I forget his name!) as Immortal Angel find their feet in and around New York. Alyssa starts as the new piercer at the tattoo shop Damien works, and he knows, right from the start, she is gonna rock his world.

What isn't clear to Alyssa, though, is the secret Damien is hiding, even from his band members, an addiction that goes back to when he was 14 years old. And this is what pushes Alyssa away and causes Damien to finally, finally admit, he cannot live with out Alyssa and he needs some help.

This book doesn't pack the same punch as The Prince of Punk Rock, but it packs a DIFFERENT punch. Damien's upbringing and spiral downwards is heart breaking to read. His climb back up is cheering to read though, and Ms Galicki pulls this tale off beautifully. Told from both Damien and Alyssa's POV, we get it all from them both.

It does carry some difficult topics, child abuse, drug/alcohol addiction. It does make for some difficult reading, at times. But it also carries a HEA for Damien and Alyssa, and a very nice lead into Jimmy and Audra's story, which I have next to read.

4.5 stars

Copy of this book was gifted to me by the author for an honest review.

WOW! Another hit from Jenna Galicki! I loved the rest of the books in the Radical Rockstars series, so I was excited to have the opportunity to read and review Punk Rock Resurrection. Punk Rock Resurrection, while being the third book, can also be read as a stand alone because it takes place before the other two books. It takes place when Immortal Angels, the band, first started. This is Damien and Alyssa's story and how they came to be. Damien is the bassist in the band. If you were already intrigued by him in the first 2 books in the series, your wish to delve into his tragic past and really get to know the man under the Mohawk and tattoos is about to come true.
Jenna Galicki has a way with her writing that makes you really connect with the characters. This book is written in different POV's which really helps you feel that connection. She nails all the feelings you want to have when reading a gripping story. She takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, from smiling, laughing out loud, to tears and heart break, and back to smiling and laughing again. Alyssa is such a strong female character, and I love a woman that can put a difficult man in his place. There aren't enough words to say how much I enjoyed this book, so I will leave you to find out for yourselves. I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series. Amazing! 5 well-deserved stars from me!

Jenna Galicki has done it again. I have become a big fan of her Immortal Angel series and each book has been amazing to read, but this book is the best one she has written in this series. Jenna's writing is incredible and will have you wanting to turn those pages faster. She has you experiencing everything while you are reading about the heartbreaking childhood of Damien to the amazing twist and turns in his relationship with Alyssa.

I love that Damien is a sexy hardcore punk rocker, but is not afraid to show is sweet and sensitive side. Then there is the feisty, no nonsense Alyssa OMG she is amazing! A girl that knows what she wants and not afraid to fight for it. I love that she is not afraid to speak her mind and tell Damien exactly how she feels.

This is the third book of the Radical Rock Stars series, but can be read as a stand alone book. I absolutely love this book and the characters. The story of Damien and Alyssa is amazing. I fell in love with the first two books of Immortal Angel, but this is has become my favorite of this series.

The storyline and characters are realistic and will pull at your heartstrings. I could not put it down and was hooked from the beginning. This is definite must read book!

I HIGHLY recommend this book to all readers. You do not have to be a reader of rock books to love Punk Rock Resurrection.

Punk Rock Resurrection (Radical Rock Star #3) by Jenna Galicki
Book 3 is the story of Immortal Angels bass guitarist Damian Diamond and how he met Angel, his wife and why his wife will leave him if he gets back involved with drugs and alcohol. Damian has had a hard life. Growing up he had to endure an alcoholic mother who was distant and cold. She was emotionally and physically abusive. At a certain age his only salvation was a bass guitar which he worked for at the local music store and used as a life preserver in a life of hell. Unfortunately he also found his mother’s pills and alcohol as a way to deal with the pain. Once his mother put him out at the age of 18 he found himself living on the streets. It was on the streets his friendship with Angel had been cemented. Playing the bass for the Immortal Angels, his friendship with Angel and his job at the tattoo parlor where he worked was all he had in his life. One day while at his job at the Tattoo parlor the new piercer show up Alyssa. Damian is smitten with her. This is his story of how he made Alyssa his wife and how he was able to get clean. Damian is a heart wrenching story when you learn what he had to endure and the head trips his mother placed on him. My heart went out to him and I loved his journey to finding love with Alyssa. I can say I enjoyed this book the best out of the 3 and I am looking forward to the next book which is the drummer’s story Jimmy. I give this story 4.5 Stars.

BOOK THREE - 4 STARS!

Well, well, well... I am the first to admit I am a book-whore for rock star romances. Whenever I find a book that is rock star, I jump at the chance. This author is new to me and when I stumbled across her series, just reading the blurbs for the books I knew that I had to nab these up. I am so glad that I ran across this author. This series is enticing, intriguing, sexy, intense, and full of angst.

I really liked this book. Sexy, intense, edgy, passionate, and full of naughtiness, get ready for one hell of a ride and tour! Are you a punk rock fan? Do you like angst, steam, and everything over the top? DO you want to lose your inhibitions and live free? This series is for you. It will grab you from the first page and won't let you go until the end. Get ready to swoon, fall in love, and rock out!

This is Alyssa and Damien’s story. This is the book we have been waiting for if you read books one and two. Damian is dark and damaged. He has baggage and demons that plague him. Enter Alyssa. She is a goddess who lights up his life. Alyssa is strong and can hold her own... just what Damien needs in a woman. Can these two work past the obstacles and make it work? Get ready to swoon and fall hard for our damaged hero. The ride is going to be bumpy but totally worth it by the end.

I recommend this book.

Wow I just finished reading Punk Rock Resurrection. This is Damian Hardy & Alyss Taylor story. I really felt for Damian Hardy. He later changes his name and you will see why once you read this book. He had a horrible life growing up with a mother that never loved him and felt he was an imposition. His mother kicked him out on his 18th birthday. Alyssa is one bad a** woman. She is a strong woman and I loved her character. And, the story continues from there. I can’t say more because I don’t do spoilers. At least I don’t intend to.

Damian is really a very nice guy with a lot of anguish! Oh and really “Elvira” I loved her. (I can’t say who or what she is because again no spoilers).

I really enjoyed reading this book. And as Jenna said you could read it as a standalone but, why would you because you will understand more about the characters that were written in the first 2 books. #1The Prince of Punk Rock and #2Between A Rock and A Hard Place.

This book originally was an ARC for me. But, when I found out it was also on Kindle Unlimited I also got it through Amazon so that it could be a verified purchase. Anything to help out our Author friends. I give Punk Rock Resurrection 4.5 stars.

Oh and another book will be out soon by Jenna Galicki: Radical Rock Stars, Book 4 and this one is about Jimmy Wilder Coming Fall 2015. :)

This book was a long time coming in this series! We all know that Damien and Alyssa are made for each other and that Damien has had a tough life (putting this mildly). Knowing that Damien had a bad childhood I did not expect this storyline and it was heartbreaking knowing that his mother did this to him, but the positive to this was he turned his life around and he deserved every happiness he could have in his life (Alyssa, Immortal Angel, his true family, Elvira and Barclay Center).

They both loved their pain and those sex scenes were rockin' except I cringed during the piercings. Woozier those had to hurt! How and why do people do that? Does it feel that good during sex? I'm gonna have to say yes based upon this book as I can tell you Jenna did her research on this. These were cumtastic moments let me tell you!!

You may fall, but you can rise and resurrect yourself only if you truly want to and Damien had the support of Alyssa and his true family. Hearing their story made this series so much better and will patiently be waiting to read the drama that will ensue with Jimmy and Audra. Maybe some Kira jealously will be there?? Hint Hint.

Hopefully we can learn about the papo weirdo that is messing with Jessi cause I have a feeling evil Kendall is behind this. Rockin', smokin' dominatrix and alpha all rolled into one punkin' book you don't want to miss.

Jenna is brilliant!!! This is the third installment in the Radical Rock Star series but can also be read as a stand alone. This is Damien's story and I love it!! This story is basically a flashback of where it all began for Damien. His story isn't all roses, it's hard and has a lot of bumpy roads but it makes him a real person, a character with flaws and it makes his union with Alyssa and the love that they share so very special. The story wraps in present day and gives you a glimpse into where Immortal Angel and all of the band members are and what is coming their way. Brilliantly told, the story unfolds with ease and the emotion behind it all is written in such a way that you truly feel it. In fact, I shed a few tears which is not like me at all. LOL Jenna writes in a way that allows you to feel and experience with the characters but also with the environment, you can hear the crowd cheer, you can feel the bass and the drums vibrate into your chest and you can hear the lyrics as if you are center stage. Tommy, Jessi and Angel all hold a special place in my heart but Damien is my heart. I love him ! Can't wait for book for so we can get Jimmy's story. Stay tuned for more and don't miss out on a wonderfully written story.

This book focuses on Damien and Alyssa. Damien has had a hard childhood. He lived with his abusive mom and didn't know his dad. His mom was a drunk and blamed him for her husband leaving. She treated him badly til she told him to pack up and leave. He lived on the streets til his best friend Angel found out and helped him get a place, even if it wasn't that nice. He started working in a tattoo studio cleaning up after the artists to make money to pay the bills. He didn't care how much he worked or how many jobs, he was just happy to have a roof over his head after living on the streets. His drug and alcohol problem didn't help with the money, but he needed them to survive living. It was all he knew growing up, and he didn't feel the need to change when he was on his own. They helped to numb him, until he meets a sassy piercer who starts working at the shop and gives him back as good as he gives her. Alyssa tries to stay away from Damien, but is unsuccessful when she sees him light up the stage with his band Immortal Angel. Follow Alyssa as she tries to get Damien to stop with the alcohol and drugs and supports him and the band because she loves them and their music so much. This is a MUST READ!!!

Punk Rock Resurrection is the third book in the Radical Rock Stars Series but it can be read as a standalone. This book is about Damien. I loved reading about Damien's life and the events that made him the man he is now. To say he had a rough past is an understatement but through it all he was determined to make it. Punk Rock Resurrection also gives us the back story of how Damien and Alyssa met. I loved reading about the bands beginning. As always, Ms Galicki does not disappoint. The writing is AMAZING. I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn't put this book down.

I love the characters! Damien is the brooding basest for Immortal Angel. But after reading his story I know he is so much more. I felt so sorry for everything he had to endure to get to where he is now. Alyssa is as sassy as always. It was exciting to see their relationship develop.

Ms Galicki has a way with words and certainly knows how to write about rockers. I never knew I was a rock star groupie but this series has turned me into one. Just go ahead and one-click Punk Rock Resurrection, you will fall in love with Damien and the guys from Immortal Angel!

I loved this story. Just like the other books in the series, this one sucked me in and wouldn't let go. Unlike the others, this isn't a gay romance. Since this book happens before the others in the series, it can easily be read as a stand alone. For those of you that shied away from this series because of the gay romance, give this book a try. I promise, once you read it, you will fall in love with all the characters and want to know more about them.

I did have one issue, that was the timeline. The events of this book occur BEFORE The Prince of Punk Rock and Between a Rock and a Hard Place. That threw me off a little, but once I realized that, things made a lot more sense. I loved getting to see some of the beginning of Immortal Angel. It just made me love their characters even more. They are so dedicated to their art.

Damien just broke my heart. He's on his own, but has too much pride to willingly accept help from anyone. Alyssa makes him want to be a better person. But he's fighting so many demons that it's not easy.

I highly recommend one-clicking this fabulous book ASAP.
