I was surprised at this book after reading one of her last ones. I was expecting to really enjoy this, but was sadly disappointed. I nearly gave up on this early on in the book. Right off the bat is the prologue, which was really unnecessary as it added no real insight into the plot or characters. It seemed like a thrown in addition. I am not a fan of stories in the third person, but have read many that the author does a great job of making it clear which character is being focused on and manage to separate sections to keep feelings, thoughts, and motivations of each character outlined. For the first half of the book, this is not the case and there is a jumble of characters and thoughts, feelings, and actions of multiple characters in each chapter that muddies the story. There is no clear plot that emerges other than the consequence of the flower arrangement competition and where they are after high school and Rosie's continued dislike of Broc. The outcome of the flower competition from the beginning was not realistic and felt off to me as well. It did get better about halfway into the book and the story emerged better and characters were more separate and defined so you can follow the story better. If the beginning had been the same way it would have been a much better read for me. Reading others' reviews I am unsure if I read the same story. I am sure it is purely a personal preference. I feel like a rework of the beginning and maybe changing to first person with a defined POV would really make this a much better book as a whole. This will not keep me from reading further books as the previous ones I read from her I did enjoy. Thank you to Good Girl Author Service and Shannon Morse for the advanced copy to read and review.
I have absolutely loved every book in this series and I love getting to meet new characters and follow their journey and although Broc and Rosie story is one for the record books, Adam made this book for me. He is freaking hilarious and I was so glad we got more of him in this book!
Poor Rosie! Man she’s had a horrible rough life and nothing ever seems to go right for her, until she runs into Broc, whom she swore she wld hate for the rest of her life, because he ruined her life back in high school, but Broc is a different person now and he is determined to show Rosie just how much. But Broc has had his fair share of problems and an EX that just won’t let go.
Broc and Rosie are brought back to together over plants, but can their love of plants and flower arrangements surpass the hurt and betrayal left in her heart from years ago? I loved everything about this book, except poor Fluffy!
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not is a good heartfelt story!!
What you get..... ♡Enemies to Lovers ♡Class Gap ♡Florist to The Stars MMC ♡Struggling to Stay Afloat FMC ♡Found Family ♡Crazy Ex Drama
Broc and Rosie’s story might be one of my favorites. 🥰🥰🥰
Rosie has had a rough life and carries so much hurt from the past, especially when it comes to Broc. He’s the guy she swore she’d hate forever after what happened in high school. But Broc isn’t that person anymore, and watching him try to prove it was so satisfying.
Their chemistry, banter, and second chance tension were all perfect. The drama hits hard, the emotions land, and the spice is absolutely unhinged in the best way. And Adam? He completely stole the show. Every scene he was in had me laughing.
This book has everything: angst, humor, messy feelings, old wounds, and a romance that feels earned. I devoured it and didn’t want to put it down. Another fantastic addition to the Pacific Northwest Love series.
Book 4 in the Pacific Northwest Love Series and Shannon was like… “hold my beer” with this one. The drama has been served. The angst is yummy and The spice was absolutely UNHINGED. My jaw was on the floor before I even made it past the prologue.
The number of shouting reaction texts I sent while reading this is honestly embarrassing. LOL But that’s how you know it hit. Hard.
This story had everything! Funny moments, darker edges, and just enough emotional punches to keep you slightly unwell in the best way. And getting reacquainted with some of the previous MCs had me cackling and swooning at the same time. I forgot how much I loved them.
I absolutely devoured this. Could not put it down, did not want to put it down.
Easily one of my top reads this year.
Huge thank you to Shannon for trusting me with your books, you already know I’m feral for them 🖤
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
Bronc + Rosie
SHEW, our MMC is messy, Bronc. & I know he's just trying to do the right thing and help out Rosie but man's got some heavy baggage. Actually, both of our MCs have some serious baggage/issues going on and honestly, I love how they lean on one another once they get past the angsty grudge that Rosie has against Bronc because of what he did to her in the past.
These two navigate each other (since their businesses are next door to one another) and their current circumstances trying to hold them back from successes (and possibly a relationship).
I really enjoyed the book AND it had so many twists and turns. It kept me entertained all the way through!
Arc review Book 4 in the Pacific Northwest Love Series Guys I absolutely loved Brock and Rosie you really can connect with both of their characters and where they're coming from. If your interested in a book with Enemies to Lovers, A Class Gap,Florist to The Stars MMC,Struggling to Stay Afloat FMC,Found Family,Crazy Ex Drama. Then, this book in this series is most definitely for you Put it on your TBR right now! I will say this pre warning make sure you read the triggers.Make sure you put your mental health first and you're okay because there are some things that are in this book that could easily be seen as dark and triggering.
While the story was adorable, I had to struggle to finish it and almost DNF’d several times. It desperately needs editing, and some organization as the continuous change in tenses and povs nearly gave me a stroke. I think if I had been able to read it in a more organized manner, where I wasn’t confused and rereading snippets to try to understand what was happening, it has serious potential.
Another fun read in Shannon's Pacific Northwest Love series and I loved Rosie and Broc. I love a good second chance enemies to lovers and this was it. The chemistry and banter was so good. Rosie hated Broc since high school but he showed her that he changed.
I really wanted to like this book as it’s set in my hometown. I did like the FMC. The MMC felt like he never really grew up. The FMC really only had a relationship with him because she had wanted him in high school. The MMC’s friends were even worse and so immature.
Broc and Rosie’s story had everything you would want in a story! Their chemistry and banter was so soo good! I just love this Author! I can’t wait to see what she writes next!
