Joanne Pence

She is the author of the Angie Amalfi culinary mystery series, which is still in print after twenty years, and now has 15 books (the latest, COOKING SPIRITS was an April 2013 release), and a novella (Cook's Christmas Capers, Dec. 2013). She has just begun a new series, the Rebecca Mayfield mysteries. ONE O'CLOCK HUSTLE is the first full-length novel, and THE THIRTEENTH SANTA is a novella which shows how the two main characters met.
Joanne's books have won many awards and honors, including RWA's Golden Heart and Rita Award nominations, the Independent Book Seller's Golden Quill, the Daphne du Maurier award, the Willa Cather Literary Award in Historical Fiction (for DANCE WITH A GUNFIGHTER), and the Idaho Top Fiction Award for ANCIENT ECHOES.

Fun cozy mystery
A fun cozy mystery, perfect for vacation reading. I enjoyed the characters quirkiness and humor. But I wouldn't want to actually stay in their inn!

Mystery and recipes
Mixed reviews, first two books were good mysteries, third book bored me almost to death.. couldn't get into it, and didn't finish reading it. Fourth book I had previously read (it was a good mystery) Fifth, sixth, seventh were great and terrific mysteries plus great recipes. Eighth book, previously read it was so-so but good recipe. Overall good good collection of cozy mysteries and recipes

sweet confections
I so did love reading these mysteries! I laughed out loud, tried to guess "who did it", and dreamed of making all of the recipes included! Of course I plan on making the Margaritas, lol. What a joyous reading experience. I've been introduced to many new authors that whet my appetite. I plan on continuing by reading more.

Killer confections is a mixed bundle of 8 culinary mysteries. With a little bit of Murder and plenty of Sugar and Spice.Hard to choose which was my favorite story I enjoyed them all

Fun reading
I think the story I enjoyed best was the last one about the Amish bed and breakfast. But they all were interesting and well written.

As with any compendium there are some you enjoy, some you don't and some in between! I am glad to have read this (but my TBR list isn't so happy! nor will my bank balance be .... oops!)
