Rejected. Betrayed. Killed. Reborn. This time… I choose the Alpha who was always mine.
Rejected as human. Betrayed by my best friend. Killed by my mate. I came back in time to ruin my enemies, and this time I will not beg.
In my second life, I bare my teeth and fight back… while hiding the truth.
My Lycan wolf is finally awake.
The Moon Goddess rewound time to fix a stolen fate, not to watch me break again.
Ronan, my Alpha mate, needs me. If he rejects me, he loses his Alpha crown forever.
His parents call it a blessing. The pack calls it a joke. Human, they spit.
Only Rylan, Ronan’s elder brother, ever stepped in to protect me in my previous life. Maybe I remind him of the mate he lost.
In this life, he shields me with his body, watches me like I already belong to him… And his touch lingers like a promise I do not want to refuse.
He is dangerous, possessive, and the only wolf who ever made the word safe feel real. When he gets close, my wolf purrs for the first time.
I came back for revenge.
But when the mate bond screams betrayal again, it does not break me.
It leads me straight to Rylan’s door.
**If you enjoy rejected mate romance, second chance fated mates, possessive Alpha heroes, and a strong Luna who fights back, you will love this werewolf shifter romance.**
This had all the elements you expect in a rejected shifter story. Selena seems meek and compliant and kinda let herself be pushed over by everyone. Ronan, her mate, is a complete ass and treats her nothing like a fated mate is supposed to. So I were suspicious of him immediatly! Rylan I liked at once! He's the protective type and is not afraid to speak up about what he sees.
I found the pack dynamic to be a bit off, weird? Just because I have'nt read anything that has the heir be sat aside because he lost his first mate and just put the little brother in as replacement. But for the sake of the story I understood why that was a thing. I just did'nt understand why everyone else just seemed so okay with doing it.
I wish I got a bit more background information on Selena. She was a human but her dad and mom was packmembers. Were they humans too? I just had questions about the whole thing. Maybe that is information we get in the series to come, I hope so!
The plot twist I saw but then there came more twists that I did not see coming and I was a bit taken aback by everything!
I felt for Rylan and Selena, their rage and hurt on display and their thirst for revenge very understandable. I likes however how they did and managed every little detail in the end. They both showed growth, maturity and a sign to wanting to be different, better.
All in all i really enjoyed it and want to read what's to come! The only thing that made me go from 5 to 4 stars, were the few thinga that did'nt makes sence to me or that perhaps the buildup to what happened was intense and then it was just over very quicly. That is my only "complaint".
If you enjoy shifter stories and rejected mates etc, you'll like this one!!
This was an amazing read! You could sense all the emotions. If you love werewolves, it’s a great choice! The character building is wonderful. The revenge was top tier! I absolutely loved every second of it! I would definitely read more from Ivory Storm in general! Team Rylan and Selena all the way!! Definitely hope to see more.
This was an excellent read. I truly enjoyed the plot and the characters. I am looking forward to reading the complete story. Thank you for providing the ARC.
Ivory Storm’s take on the typical basic plot line seen in most of these books is well done. Being a novella, it’s fast paced and intense and of course leaves you wanting more. There were some details that I would have loved to see explained more because they had the potential to be important and make you curious, but over all, not bad. I look forward to the next part of this world.
Thank you to the author for allowing me the opportunity to be an ARC reader.
Really enjoyed this novella. I was given the opportunity for the ARC and Ivory did not disappoint. I can not wait to read more about Selena and Rylan. If you like Wolf fantasy this is a great read.
Short, spicy, and SO satisfying 🔥🐺 I absolutely devoured Rejected Luna Reborn! For a novella, it packed everything you want in a rejected mate story—drama, betrayal, and the most satisfying revenge 👏 Selena being treated as weak had me furious, and don’t even get me started on Ronan… instant hate 😤 But watching her take her power back? YES. So worth it. And Ryland? Total green flag from the start—he’s everything a mate should be 💚 My only complaint is that I wanted MORE. I’d read a full-length version in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to see what this author does next!
This book is such a great intro... it helps set the theme/tone for the overall big picture. The writing style is the perfect mix of description and plot.
“The mate bond was a mistake… my wolf chose wrong.” Ronan “He didn’t look guilty… just annoyed I interrupted.” Selena
I am excited to read the next to see if it will go where I think it is or if the writer has more plot twists and surprises up her quill.
This was an absolute great novella. The story is captivating from the very beginning. The author did great with character building, plots, just everything in this novella. You will absolutely love Rylan in this story. Selena was a very well written and powerful FMC. The betrayal will have you feeling it and the ending. Its just perfect. I cant wait for more. Highly recommend this novella.
Rejected Luna Reborn delivers exactly what fans of paranormal romance and werewolf fiction crave—intensity, emotional upheaval, and a fierce journey of self-reclamation. Ivory Storm builds a story that leans into familiar tropes like rejection, fate, and second chances, but elevates them through strong character development and a compelling emotional arc.
At the heart of the novel is a heroine who begins in a place of deep vulnerability. Her rejection isn’t just a romantic slight—it’s a dismantling of identity, status, and belonging. What makes this story stand out is how convincingly her transformation unfolds. Rather than an instant rise to power, her growth feels earned, layered with pain, resilience, and gradual empowerment. Watching her rebuild herself is one of the most satisfying aspects of the book.
The male lead (and broader cast) adds tension and complexity, especially as themes of regret, redemption, and power dynamics come into play. The emotional push-and-pull is intense, sometimes frustrating in the best way, and keeps the reader invested. Storm does a strong job of making relationships feel consequential—choices have weight, and the past is never easily escaped.
The pacing is steady, with a good balance between plot progression and emotional introspection. There are moments where the drama leans heavily into genre expectations, but fans of rejected-mate stories will likely see this as a strength rather than a flaw. The world-building supports the narrative without overwhelming it, allowing the character journey to remain front and center.
If there’s any critique, it’s that some secondary characters could benefit from deeper exploration, and certain conflicts resolve a bit quickly compared to the buildup. Still, these are minor issues in an otherwise engaging and emotionally charged read.
Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) A gripping and satisfying paranormal romance that delivers heartbreak, growth, and a powerful comeback story. Perfect for readers who enjoy strong heroines, emotional angst, and redemption arcs with bite.
This read was pretty good for my first supernatural/shifter dark romance book. The plot twists were so unpredictable🤯. Rejected Luna Reborn was really good however I do think sometimes the story was a little difficult to follow (mostly in the beginning). Rylan (MMC) is like a knight in shining armor swooping into save Selena and I was all here for it. Selena (FMC) going from a frightened and quiet girl at the beginning to a confident and strong girl at the end was icing on the cake. I beelieve the character development was pretty on point! The story definitely had some twists and turns which is awesome but it also had lots of plot along with some of the spice (personally I like a little more spice).😏 All in all please do read the trigger warnings because some parts of the book may not be for you, if the triggers warnings pique your interest go for it!! Absolutely wonderful read for my first shifter/supernatural dark romance!! Hats off to you Ivory!
As someone who loves to read the Werewolf Shifter romance books, I was pleasantly surprised to see a slightly different take on the typical storyline. We still have the elements of the quiet/malleable FMC Selina who through circumstance will grow into the confident heroine, the rejected mate bond with the upcoming Alpha Ronan and of course the strong knight in shining armour MMC Rylan who will support her journey into correcting the wrongs of their past life. There is quite the twist in the bond between Selina and Ronan that will be unravelled as you progress through the novella and an interesting concept with the reincarnation story line.
Being a novella, it was a wonderful introduction into a world that I can’t wait to read more about in future books and is easily read in a short amount of time.
If you love reading about rejected mates/second chance mates, strong FMC’s and the man that supports her, this story is for you.
Many thanks to Ivory Storm for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this story.
Ivory Storm's Rejected Luna: Reborn is a book about one woman's personal struggle to reclaim her independence and become the woman she was destined to be regardless of the struggles and betrayal she from those she thought to be the closest to her.
This book shows the strength it takes for someone to get back up on their feet after being handed the most devastating blow possible, and refusing to let it dictate the outcome of the rest of their life.
When the woman realizes the man she thought she loved betrayed her with her best friend, instead of just giving in to her pain, she decides to show the world just the type of "people" her ex and best friend are, and who really holds the power.
Rejected Luna is a book about a woman who has her dignity, power, and self-respect all taken away from her in the blink of an eye, instead of staying down, she rises up like Phoenix, claiming everything that was stolen from her.
For fans of stories all about girl power, and standing on one's own two feet, Rejected Luna is an absolute MUST read!
I love reborn books, if anyone has any that they have read please let me know 🙏🏻
Selena is betrayed by her mate and her best friend, she caught them sleeping together. Selena is human until the rebirth where she gets her wolf, she dies because she set up by those around her.
Rylan is her mates older brother, Rylan had a mate before but she died, I hate that he had another mate because he was still grieving her when the moon goddess gave him Selena as his mate, I felt that she was second best to his first mates when he mentioned her.
Rylan was the alpha heir before his first mate died and he handed the pack over to his little brother, big mistake!
Rylan was so protective over Selena I loved that, he started loving her and when she was human
Glad they got their revenge on those who betrayed them both!
Virgin FMC and Non Virgin MMC (His past wasn’t said but he has a mate prior and who knows if she was his first)
Can’t wait for the next Ivory Storm book 🔥

What a story! This dark, slightly twisted, shifter romance was remarkable. I’ve read quite a few paranormal, romantasy books and this was unlike any others I’d read with some great twists!
When I first started reading it all I kept saying was WHY! Why did her mate Ronan reject her? Why was her best friend Candice lovers with her mate? This is not the way shifter worlds work! Then the story started unfolding and you could see how and why she was treated so badly, classified as only human because her wolf was being suppressed and she didn’t realize. When her mate bond is broken off in rejection, she almost dies but her future brother in law, former Alpha heir, Rylan saves her.
The mystery and intrigue is perfect, and I can’t wait to learn more about all these characters!

My experience with this story:I was really looking forward to finally reading a story about Lycans, and this book truly lived up to my expectations.
You are drawn into the story very quickly. There is no boring introduction—just immediate action and suspense. Because it is written in dual point of view, you get to experience the story through both main characters, which adds great depth.
I had never read a story before about lineage, betrayal among Lycans, and everything that comes with it. I found it refreshing to discover this side of fantasy.
I am very curious to know if there will be a sequel.
I would definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy fantasy but are not looking for an overly complex world-building experience. It is perfect for those who want a cohesive story with strong characters and engaging elements.
Politics and misguided allegiances put Selina in a dangerous situation. Rylan, the former alpha heir was tampering with the natural progression of Alpha of the pack.Selina was the innocent sheep. A fake bond between Selina and Ronan was just the tail of his deception. Yes she dies, so does the past alpha heir. The Moon Goddess who controls all bondings between mates steps in. Selina actually meets the Goddess and she, along with Rylan are brought back. The focus is finding justice for the wrongs being committed. Alina has met her wolf who was being hidden from Selina. The changes literally made make cheer. A roller coaster of emotions that make this book a page turning book and you will cry, you wil cheer and you will celebrate the wonderful skills of Ivory Storm.
This novella is a quick read and author Ivory Storm's introduction into the world that future books will be based in. While Rylan and Selena's story didn't quite hold my attention, I do believe the author achieved her goal for setting the world stage for future books. There were several areas that could have been explored in greater detail that would have enriched the story (how Selena's parents died being one of them). The part where Selena was "reborn" could also have been given more detail (and, to that end, Rylan's rebirth too). With that said, I do know that the intent of this book was to be a "novella" and exploring those particular areas (plus more) would greatly increase the pages of the book.
This story reminds me of those you read on the book apps you know the ones you get ads for. They know how to hook you in and so did this debut novella by Ivory Storm! 10 out of 10 I will eat this trope up everytime!
As it's a novella it was fast paced but I loved Selena's new found strength and determination to get her revenge along with Rylan's protective but caring nature while giving her the proper respect as a partner. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of a few inconsistencies I found throughout the book but it wasn't enough to deter from the plot.
Definitely recommend giving this a read if you're into reincarnation, revenge, and second chances!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Review of Advanced Copy from the author. All opinions are my own.
This one hit all the tropes I love—rejected mate, second chance, and a strong FMC who refuses to stay broken.
Watching her rebuild herself after the rejection was easily my favorite part. She grows into her strength in a way that feels satisfying, and I loved seeing her step into her power instead of letting her past define her. The tension and emotional pull between the characters kept me invested the whole time.
My only drawback was how short it was—I honestly just wanted more. It felt like there was so much that could have been expanded on.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and would recommend it to anyone who loves werewolf romance with a resilient heroine and plenty of drama.
A nice quick read about a rejected Luna that finds her inner strength and brings the downfall of those that wrong her. She finds her fated mate cheating on her and then he kills her. Unfortunately for him, she is reincarnated, finds her second chance mate, exposes her fated mate and his mistress, and reveals that her wolf is not only with her but that she possesses more magic than every ever knew about.
If you like the following, then this one is for you: 😈Rejected mate romance 💕Second chance fated mates ☠️Possessive Alpha heroes ☑️Strong Luna who fights back ☠️Karma for the cheaters
I was selected as an ARC reader for this book. It is a very quick read and it sucked me in immediately! When it opens you’re pulled in this “human”, Selena, a woman dealing with the abuse and neglect of her “mate” Ronan and her “best friend” Candice, who have betrayed her at all costs. Ronan’s brother, Rylan, is the only one who helps Selena. You go on a roller coaster of emotions with what Selena deals with and like me I hope you pray she gets to give them all what they deserve. This book tho short, was a great shifter romance! Go READ IT!!!!
Huge thank you to Ivory Storm for this chance to read your book!!! Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Plot: 4.5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️
The Rejected Luna Reborn follows the story of Selena and Rylan. The story begins with Selena in pain from the bond which leads her to find her mate, Roland, cheating with her best friend Candice. Rylan berates his brother for not appreciating the mate bond and tries to shield Selena, not knowing the worst is yet to come. Not only has Roland cheated, he has colluded with Candice to bring charges against Selena, which precedes to her death. The moon goddess disagrees with these actions and gives her a second chance. Dive into this novel and see how selena reclaims her rightful place.
Read as ARC. This novella is not like any other werewolf story I read so far. The whole story was unexpected. The 2 POV was fluent and not repetitive at all. But the wording of the wolf/human interaction and struggle at times. I really liked that. I felt it, I understood it better. It was very clear in my mind what happened, what they felt and how it would be in real life ... Since this is a novella introducing a book series, the only thing I can do in response is anxiously await them! They will be a pleasure to discover and read!! 5 wolves out of 5 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
ARC review - This book had me hooked from chaper one. I loved that the story line had some aspects that dont come up in these types of stories often if not ever. Also love it when an author can make you hate characters just as easy as they can make you love them even without a huge amount of back story. I thought the 2nd half of the book flowed a little better than the first based on the direction the story was going. All round an enjoyable read that can be finished within a few hours.
This was a great short story in the shifter romance realm! The author did a good job telling the story of the 2 main characters. Would love to see more about the villains plot with the rogues and what that meant. However, this was just a short introductory novella to a world that the author plans to expand on with other books next year. This was a quick read and was well-written. Dont expect a super in depth story, as I stated, it is more of an introduction to the world.
This second-chance romance book was so beautifully written, and the fated mates trope? Chef's kiss! It had me hooked from the start. The reborn luna aspect added such a fascinating layer to the story, making it so unpredictable. Seriously, if you love these tropes, you *have* to pick this one up! The short story was great and what I needed.
This novella is a quick read and a great introduction to the promised land of the Silver Moon Pack. I found the way the author takes us through the world and initial trial of the pack interesting. I cannot wait for more world building and conflict for Rylan and Selena; their strength and love will preserve, I have no doubt.
Such a fabulous short, spicy read. I enjoyed it. These two together are a power couple. Ivory has created her own world of wolves and lycans that is different to the "norm" but oh how it works. And works beautifully. Revenge is served in the best way. I am excited for the future novels that follow after this one.
This was a perfect little nevella to set up a series. It started good and just kept getting better as I read. I love a good revenge story and this one was literally perfect. I'm looking forward to what comes next!
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving a review voluntarily.
