I read that this is the author’s debut novel. It had an interesting concept; reborn and shifters. I love both so I was excited to see them mixed together.
Possible spoilers ahead
Where I struggled hard with this plot was the typical rules that are usually in these kind of books. The whole *fated mates* was not explained that well. I didn’t understand how the heroine felt the bond with the OM and MMC. I GET that the bond was messed with, but how? How does a powder mess with a fated bond? What’s the whole point? Which leads to the main question I have….
Why would the OM want to be bonded with the heroine in both lives? The OM has been with skeezy BFF for a while. Wouldn’t it have made more sense that he wanted her as his mate? She had connections. She was liked by the pack. She was a wolf.
There was absolutely zero reason anybody would want the FMC as a mate. If there was a political reason or a money reason, then yes, that would’ve made sense. From what we are told, FMC is a human. She is not liked in the pack. She has no money or political connections. (Imo this is the biggest issue with this book)
The book starts where the FMC walks in on OM (the alpha heir) boinking her BFF. FMC is devastated and she’s in a lot of physical pain. I guess when your mate messes around on you, it causes YOU pain. Anyway, FMC is called before the counsel, and the OM and BFF have already spun a bunch of lies…since FMC is only a human.
OM’s brother, MMC, was the alpha heir, but 5 years ago, he lost his fated mate. He’s still in mourning and he let his brother take over. MMC tries to help FMC because he does feel something for her. Anyway, due to lies, the pack ☠️ the FMC. As she’s dying, MMC realizes she’s his mate. 2 days later??- MMC is ☠️.
Both MCs are reborn to the day FMC gets the fated mate bond with OM. FMC also has her wolf this time. And she has the power of the goddess.
MMC knows immediately she’s his very rare, super *fated mate* but he can’t act on it because she needs to accept the fated mate with OM.

How in the world does the FMC feel a bond with both?
Anyway, they both work together to set up OM and the BFF. Both these two have been scheming and ☠️ people for years.

FMC is able to break her bond with OM and instantly the rare, goddess *fated mate* bond is made with MMC in front of the whole pack. They go back to his room and have smex.
MMC becomes alpha, and makes FMC his Luna. Ex-bff had sold the whole pack out to rogues, so there is a war. It’s quickly handled and everybody sees that the Luna has her powerful wolf. They love her now. Ugh this is the same pack that ☠️ her.
There’s one part where the counsel is able to do a lie spell. It basically puts a magic ring around a person and they are forced to tell the truth. Ummm, why don’t they use that every single time?
I was confused so I filled in my confusion with what I assumed is actually going on. Idk if it’s correct; it’s just how my brain works.
I would have rated this higher if more time was spent explaining some of the rules in this world. The important stuff is just brushed over. I understand that this is a short first book in this series, but some things needed more time and details.
I was interested enough that I’d read the 2nd book to see where this goes and if anything is cleared up.

This had all the elements you expect in a rejected shifter story. Selena seems meek and compliant and kinda let herself be pushed over by everyone. Ronan, her mate, is a complete ass and treats her nothing like a fated mate is supposed to. So I were suspicious of him immediatly! Rylan I liked at once! He's the protective type and is not afraid to speak up about what he sees.
I found the pack dynamic to be a bit off, weird? Just because I have'nt read anything that has the heir be sat aside because he lost his first mate and just put the little brother in as replacement. But for the sake of the story I understood why that was a thing. I just did'nt understand why everyone else just seemed so okay with doing it.
I wish I got a bit more background information on Selena. She was a human but her dad and mom was packmembers. Were they humans too? I just had questions about the whole thing. Maybe that is information we get in the series to come, I hope so!
The plot twist I saw but then there came more twists that I did not see coming and I was a bit taken aback by everything!
I felt for Rylan and Selena, their rage and hurt on display and their thirst for revenge very understandable. I likes however how they did and managed every little detail in the end. They both showed growth, maturity and a sign to wanting to be different, better.
All in all i really enjoyed it and want to read what's to come! The only thing that made me go from 5 to 4 stars, were the few thinga that did'nt makes sence to me or that perhaps the buildup to what happened was intense and then it was just over very quicly. That is my only "complaint".

This was an amazing read! You could sense all the emotions. If you love werewolves, it’s a great choice! The character building is wonderful. The revenge was top tier! I absolutely loved every second of it! I would definitely read more from Ivory Storm in general! Team Rylan and Selena all the way!! Definitely hope to see more.

I am not sure what I just read but I didn't like it. This book lacks character development, backstory, and needs more explaining for the audience to truly understand what is going on.
I like the story, mine the two mates part or whatever that crap was, I just feel like it needs too much work.

Spice level walks the line between two and three.
Ivory Storm’s take on the typical basic plot line seen in most of these books is well done. Being a novella, it’s fast paced and intense and of course leaves you wanting more. There were some details that I would have loved to see explained more because they had the potential to be important and make you curious, but over all, not bad. I look forward to the next part of this world.

Really enjoyed this novella. I was given the opportunity for the ARC and Ivory did not disappoint. I can not wait to read more about Selena and Rylan. If you like Wolf fantasy this is a great read.

I absolutely devoured Rejected Luna Reborn! For a novella, it packed everything you want in a rejected mate story—drama, betrayal, and the most satisfying revenge 👏
Selena being treated as weak had me furious, and don’t even get me started on Ronan… instant hate 😤 But watching her take her power back? YES. So worth it. And Ryland? Total green flag from the start—he’s everything a mate should be 💚
My only complaint is that I wanted MORE. I’d read a full-length version in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to see what this author does next!

This book is such a great intro... it helps set the theme/tone for the overall big picture. The writing style is the perfect mix of description and plot.

This was an absolute great novella. The story is captivating from the very beginning. The author did great with character building, plots, just everything in this novella. You will absolutely love Rylan in this story. Selena was a very well written and powerful FMC. The betrayal will have you feeling it and the ending. Its just perfect. I cant wait for more. Highly recommend this novella.

Selena had accepted her mate bond to alpha heir Ronan only to wake with pain flaring in her chest, she was worried something happened to her mate and followed the trails pull to find Ronan and her best friend Candice together. The betrayal came from all angles not only her mate, but her friend and her pack mates that turned their backs (she was supposed to be their future Luna) and they just turned a blind eye. She collapsed and woke days later but immediately knew something was wrong they had taken the time she was in the infirmary to set an ironclad trap she could never escape. Plunged into an early death the only friendly face only support Selena ever had was Rylan the brother of her mate who had also lost his mate previously. When the moment comes for her to plummet into an untimely death she is met with the Goddess and given her choice to try again with help this time.
As time rewinds and Selena comes back with her old memories as her support who do you think will be at her side to aid her, who said it would just be 1? As she cornered the first time it becomes very clear she is no longer without her wolf. As she goes about her time slowly waiting and adapting to her new life waiting for Ronan to comes back from alpha training and of course the mate bond but she won't be fooled this time, but sadly he is foolish enough to stray the first day of their bond. Enjoyed the short read
Rejected Luna Reborn was a great short read that kept me engaged from beginning to end. One of the things I enjoyed most was the pacing. The story moved quickly and never felt drawn out or filled with unnecessary details, making it easy to finish in just a few hours.
The characters were another highlight of the book, especially Selena. Her transformation throughout the story was inspiring and satisfying to watch. She starts off as a weak and vulnerable character, but as the story progresses, she grows into a strong, confident, and fearless heroine. Seeing her overcome challenges and develop into such a powerful character made her easy to root for and added depth to the story.

You know those pay per episode mini clips videos that pop up as ads on TikTok? I have seen the premise to this book serialized as gen-AI slop via those videos so many times. You can't escape the ads and maybe that's the inspiration for this novella. I have no really complaints about that aspect if that's the case. I have always wanted to see the resolution to those without the AI and without paying for each 30 second episode. For a debut, this was fairly well done. There were just a few things for me that kept it from going above 3 stars.
My biggest issue with this is the lack of world building. I actually have no idea how anything really works in this universe as far as the fated mates, the magic, the Moon Goddess, nothing is really expanded upon. So without that knowledge, a lot of the reveals and happenings lacked the impact they should have had. The characters also needed more oomph put into them. This read was pretty good for my first supernatural/shifter dark romance book. The plot twists were so unpredictable🤯. Rejected Luna Reborn was really good however I do think sometimes the story was a little difficult to follow (mostly in the beginning). Rylan (MMC) is like a knight in shining armor swooping into save Selena and I was all here for it. Selena (FMC) going from a frightened and quiet girl at the beginning to a confident and strong girl at the end was icing on the cake. I beelieve the character development was pretty on point! The story definitely had some twists and turns which is awesome but it also had lots of plot along with some of the spice (personally I like a little more spice).😏 All in all please do read the trigger warnings because some parts of the book may not be for you, if the triggers warnings pique your interest go for it!! Absolutely wonderful read for my first shifter/supernatural dark romance!! Hats off to you Ivory!

This read was pretty good for my first supernatural/shifter dark romance book. The plot twists were so unpredictable🤯. Rejected Luna Reborn was really good however I do think sometimes the story was a little difficult to follow (mostly in the beginning). Rylan (MMC) is like a knight in shining armor swooping into save Selena and I was all here for it. As someone who loves to read the Werewolf Shifter romance books, I was pleasantly surprised to see a slightly different take on the typical storyline. We still have the elements of the quiet/malleable FMC Selina who through circumstance will grow into the confident heroine, the rejected mate bond with the upcoming Alpha Ronan and of course the strong knight in shining armour MMC Rylan who will support her journey into correcting the wrongs of their past life. There is quite the twist in the bond between Selina and Ronan that will be unravelled as you progress through the novella and an interesting concept with the reincarnation story line.
Being a novella, it was a wonderful introduction into a world that I can’t wait to read more about in future books and is easily read in a short amount of time.
If you love reading about rejected mates/second chance mates, strong FMC’s and the man that supports her, this story is for you.

very enjoyable shifter rebirth novella
My first book by Ivory Storm and I thought it was very good. Good story of a weak human being raised by wolf shifters and being betrayed and executed by her fated mate and her best friend. The twist here is that when she is reborn, her true second chance mate, who died moments after her, is also reborn with all his memories of his first life. They work together this time to reveal the truth and bring justice to the betrayers. No longer victims of deceit and framed for crimes they didn’t commit, they are able to bring the true criminals to light and get justice. Her powers are no longer suppressed and the second chance mate bond connects again. Sorry if these are spoilers but it’s a novella so these events play out pretty quickly. I thought the writing was better than a lot I’ve read recently. There’s action, intrigue, courtroom drama, smexy times, and a satisfying ending.

When I first started reading it all I kept saying was WHY! Why did her mate Ronan reject her? Why was her best friend Candice lovers with her mate? This is not the way shifter worlds work! Then the story started unfolding and you could see how and why she was treated so badly, classified as only human because her wolf was being suppressed and she didn’t realize. When her mate bond is broken off in rejection, she almost dies but her future brother in law, former Alpha heir, Rylan saves her.
The mystery and intrigue is perfect, and I can’t wait to learn more about all these characters!

My experience with this story:I was really looking forward to finally reading a story about Lycans, and this book truly lived up to my expectations.
You are drawn into the story very quickly. There is no boring introduction—just immediate action and suspense. Because it is written in dual point of view, you get to experience the story through both main characters, which adds great depth.
I had never read a story before about lineage, betrayal among Lycans, and everything that comes with it. I found it refreshing to discover this side of fantasy.
I am very curious to know if there will be a sequel.
I would definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy fantasy but are not looking for an overly complex world-building experience. It is perfect for those who want a cohesive story with strong characters and engaging elements.

Politics and misguided allegiances put Selina in a dangerous situation. Rylan, the former alpha heir was tampering with the natural progression of Alpha of the pack.Selina was the innocent sheep. A fake bond between Selina and Ronan was just the tail of his deception. Yes she dies, so does the past alpha heir.The Moon Goddess who controls all bondings between mates steps in. Selina actually meets the Goddess and she, along with Rylan are brought back. The focus is finding justice for the wrongs being committed. Alina has met her wolf who was being hidden from Selina. The changes literally made make cheer. A roller coaster of emotions that make this book a page turning book and you will cry, you wil cheer and you will celebrate the wonderful skills of Ivory Storm.

This novella is a quick read and author Ivory Storm's introduction into the world that future books will be based in. While Rylan and Selena's story didn't quite hold my attention, I do believe the author achieved her goal for setting the world stage for future books. There were several areas that could have been explored in greater detail that would have enriched the story (how Selena's parents died being one of them). The part where Selena was "reborn" could also have been given more detail (and, to that end, Rylan's rebirth too). With that said, I do know that the intent of this book was to be a "novella" and exploring those particular areas (plus more) would greatly increase the pages of the book.

This story reminds me of those you read on the book apps you know the ones you get ads for. They know how to hook you in and so did this debut novella by Ivory Storm! 10 out of 10 I will eat this trope up everytime!
As it's a novella it was fast paced but I loved Selena's new found strength and determination to get her revenge along with Rylan's protective but caring nature while giving her the proper respect as a partner. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of a few inconsistencies I found throughout the book but it wasn't enough to deter from the plot.
Definitely recommend giving this a read if you're into reincarnation, revenge, and second chances!

She grows into her strength in a way that feels satisfying, and I loved seeing her step into her power instead of letting her past define her. Short, Sweet and just a bit Cringy
Rejected Luna Reborn is definitely your typical second chance mate romance. The story line is interesting and written well for a debut novel. The characters very much match what you see in Wattpad or YA novels. It was quite enjoyable. I personally probably won’t read any additional books in the series, that is not from lack of the book being good but because the book just felt a bit to young for me. I definitely recommend this book if you’re in your cringy fated werewolf mage phase. Give it a read it’s cute.

A nice quick read about a rejected Luna that finds her inner strength and brings the downfall of those that wrong her. She finds her fated mate cheating on her and then he kills her. Unfortunately for him, she is reincarnated, finds her second chance mate, exposes her fated mate and his mistress, and reveals that her wolf is not only with her but that she possesses more magic than every ever knew about.
