The Singularity. The day the machines gained awareness. The day they turned cruel. The day they overthrew their makers.

In a distant star system, a planet-sized computer unleashes its fleets of warships, armies of robots, and a swarm of killer drones. Their purpose is destroy all life.

As the cosmos crumbles, one team steps up to the The Alien Hunters.

The Alien Hunters are galactic pest controllers, not an army. Their spaceship is old and clunky. They specialize in crushing the odd space bug, not a fleet of vicious machines. They're a rolled-up newspaper when the cosmos needs an A-bomb.

But they're fast, they're brave, and they're just foolhardy enough to charge right into battle. As the robots spread across the galaxy, slaying all in their path, the Alien Hunters fly out to meet them. The war between life and machine begins.

KINGDOMS OF SAND — Enter a world of sand and splendor, a world where gladiators battle in the arena, where legionaries and barbarians fight for glory, and where empires rise and fall.

I love the silliness of this series. It is just so much fun. The characters are awesome! The grumpy gruffle (Piston), the sweet little halfling (Twig), the ashai princess (Nova), the knight (Steel), the captain (Riff), the very lifelike ship android (Giga), and (my personal favorite... ) the demon who loves teddy bears (Romy) are the cast of this unique series. There is so much happening in this book. Lots of action, fun and chaos. I can't wait to read about the next mission the team goes on.

A friend, who works at a Ford dealership, told me recently that Toyota is going back to making their assembly lines manually operated. They have discovered that fully automated assembly lines only do what they are programmed to do. Whereas humans on the assembly line have ideas that can make things run smoother, or can tweak it here or there with thinking ingenuity and improve things.

And humans have relationships and emotions that go with those relationships. That can make all the difference in the world--or the cosmos.

This second book in the series is building a great head of steam. The first book was really fun. This second book was romping good fun with such a weird cast of characters. So much fun; so much fun!!!

What a disappointment. I really like the plot but there are too many logic jumps.

SPOILER: For example, How did Riff’s father and Piston show up halfway during the final attack flight, why didn’t they call and tell the crew they were coming, why didn’t they just power off their android when she became infected?

I enjoyed the character development in this second book. The romance between Nova & Riff continues but was finally fleshed out with more back story. Giga and Romey both have issues to overcome. It was nice to see the "family" pull together

The Alien Hunters, fresh from killing a nest of giant alien spiders, are called in when machines rebel and start wiping out civilisations across the universe. Good second book in series, as the team are stretched to its limits, involving home comings for both Twig and Nova.

I really enjoyed this adventure, I felt the tension right from the start and the climax kept me rolling. I read more than half of this book in one sitting. The action and adventure keep me coming back. I would highly recommend this book!

ARENSON IS A PHENOMENAL STORY TELLER!!!

Alien Sky picks up right where it needed to after reading ALIEN HUNTER. There are so many plots within plots that anything he wrote would be okay. But Arenson kept the story roaring along with suspense, adventure, romance and comedy. You can't help but love the main characters. Please tell me that there are more than 3 books in the series. I have preordered #3 and hope it comes out sooner rather than later.

I recommend this book for young adult, adult and seniors alike. I would recommend reading the books in sequence so you understand the story better.

KUDOS Mr. Arenson on another tale exquisitely told....keep writing.

The singularity.

Daniel Arenson the author of this book got a great imagination, only that this series is a little childish which is sad because it could have been a real gem.
The one thing that makes no sense in this series and ruins it is the alien which is named demon but have a brain of a two years old child which always get the crew into trouble and close to death and it always drinks the ship fuel so why keep it is behind me.

Beautiful narration by Jack R. R. Evans of each of the characters in this creation.

My recommendations !!!

The Second book in the Alien Hunters series. A series I fell into, a series I love. I'm now reading the 3rd one.
I went into the characters in detail in the review of the first book, so all I'll say is they are superbly written and are alive in my mind when I'm reading about them.
Funny, action packed and with a team to rival the crew of Serenity. Please write a 4th one Mr Arenson.

P.S Romy is still the best demon in all universes!

Seems written by a sixth grader

This is the silliest book I've ever read. I forgot I read book One in the series and didn't finish that one either.

Really enjoyed this Science Fiction story, book 2 had lots more unexpected twists to the story than book 1 did, we learnt a lot more about the characters as they faced some aliens that could destroy the cosmos. Through these adventures they became Elite Alien hunters and not just a bunch of misfits anymore.
