Written from a 'big Sister' perspective, this book explains all, from choosing the right friendship group, advice about school life and social life, to the physical changes a girl will experience as she grows up.
August 2022: A Muslim Girl's Guide to Life's Big Changes
[From a parent's point of view]
This book is a quick reference to not miss the changes our girls will be facing soon, especially when they hit puberty (mom gets emo🥺)
The book so much covers every aspects for us to pay attention to. 60pages and simple sentences.
I quite wonder why the author put Friends and School in the 1st chapter, but I guess during this age, friends and school are the biggest chunk in their life.
The book also touched about social media and how you spend time on it. Today's socmed is far more challenging.
May Allah always guide us and get us through this phase with ease. Ameen.
My aunt got this for me was I was a teen, felt dumbed down, like, I know I'm a kid but the language is very kiddy, but idk maybe I just am not into big sis lil sis things
This book was written by a big sisters perspective in the book sometimes I agreed on the facts but sometimes I didn’t.(Everyone has a different mind to think with)
This book is SO wholesome and heartwarming! I absolutely loved it—not just for myself, but also because I kept thinking about how perfect it would be for my future daughter, InshaAllah. 💕
It’s such a cute and thoughtful guide for young Muslim girls navigating the big changes in life, from puberty to faith, friendships, and emotions. The way it’s written is super easy to understand, supportive, and full of Islamic wisdom. It doesn’t just explain things in a basic way—it gives real, practical advice while making you feel safe and reassured.
One thing I adored was how it balanced modern life with Islamic teachings. It encourages girls to embrace their faith confidently while also acknowledging the struggles they might face. It’s like having a kind, understanding older sister give you advice without judgment. 🥹
Honestly, I wish I had this book when I was younger! It’s the kind of book that every Muslim girl should have growing up. Whether you’re reading it for yourself or thinking about sharing it with a younger sister, cousin, or even your future daughter, it’s such a sweet, valuable read. 10/10! 🌸✨
Aight, today yall are gonna learn my age. I am- . . . . Between the ages of 10 and 16 Yeah I'm still not telling yall You actually think I'm 16? No, why would I read this book if I were 16?
ANYWAYS This is a great book. If you're a Muslim girl around my age, go find it and go read it. Although there may be things you don't agree on, like me. Well then either go search it up or go ask your mom. I did neither though 💀
I am a teen and found this book very unsympathetic, I felt accused of doing or thinking of doing some of the things in the book, just because I'm a teen. the whole big sister thing is sweet if it's from your own sister but I wasn't getting it. it was not helpful
