Sigh...ok where to start?!?

Attractive male meets beautiful woman, yet under the circumstances an 'arrangement' is created....hmm intriguing!!

In Dante's Redemption we have two main characters Dante and Ava, both living lives of secrecy and both unwilling to let in the outside world.

Dante is strong, determined and a man that has gone through one hell of a childhood leading him to where he is right now. He wants, more than anything, to right the wrongs he's witnessed over time.

Ava is independent, emotionally unattached and out to prove she is one of the big dogs. Her passion for her career shows she is resilient and unwilling to let down her walls.

These two have a dynamic that pulls out so many emotions. I wanted to laugh, join in on their conversations and at one point hide under my pillow and let the tears fall.

This author did an amazing job letting me feel what was happening throughout the story. I was sucked in from the start and once I hit the end I sat there with my mouth on the floor.

I loved every page and can't wait for what is yet to come....I WANT MORE!!!

Wow! I am still reeling from everything I have just read. This book is a wild ride from the very first sentence to the very last. This book has every bit of the spark and sizzle you could ever want. And it has so much more. I loved these characters! All of them! The primary characters were not only likeable you could totally put yourself in their shoes and go right along with them for the ride. The secondary characters were funny and loyal and all you could want in the people that surround you. I laughed a lot! I cried a lot! And now I'm praying for a miracle.

Dante Santoro had quite the rocky start in life. Born to a relatively normal life it all fell apart once his father was gone. His mother turned to drugs and never came back. Although, it was a hard life it led him to Joe and his destiny. Joe took him in and raised him as the son he never had. Dante even followed in his footsteps and went into law enforcement. Drug enforcement to be exact. He may have grown up surrounded by the world of drugs, but he will give his last dying breath to eradicating it. He's worked his whole career for the opportunity to go undercover and now he has his chance. He has no outside attachments, so he's perfect for the job. He has a girl in his life, but that's really just a hook-up. They've never even shared personal information and that arrangement is perfect for both of them.

Ava has found the perfect set-up with Dante. They are exclusive, yet they share nothing. And when I say nothing I mean nothing. They know one another's name, address and phone number and that's it. When they want to hook up they make a phone call. It's safer for them both that way. If their secrets were discovered people could die. All of a sudden their carefully constructed world starts closing in around them. Ava discovers Dante leaving the resteraunt where she's scheduled to meet with a well-known crime boss. She wonders could Dante be a criminal and he's left wondering the same of her.

Discovering one another's secrets opens a whole new world for this couple. They finally are able to make a true connection without any barriers in the way. When this couple is together sparks fly like crazy, but when there is nothing standing in their way it's taken to a whole new level. Dante is ridiculously funny, sexy and badass all rolled into one. Ava is the perfect female lead. She is tough and someone not to be messed with. However, she isn't a bitch just to be one because she works in a mostly male-dominated field. I always hate when an author does that. She has a feminine side and is not afraid to show it.

I can not wait for the next installment of this series and I repeat I am praying for a miracle!

After seeing the above teaser I couldn't wait to get my grubby little hands on Dante's Redemption. So needless to say when Jaime asked if I wanted an ARC of Dante's Redemption I was so damn excited I did a little a dance.

Dante grew up with not the most ideal childhood but he manages to change his life around and because a detective. He makes it his mission to try to clean up the streets.
Ava is the mysterious bad ass woman who Dante has a friends with benefits relationship with. Little do they know just intertwined their lives will come. The bandier between these 2 are amazing.

"Up here, Pop Tart." I say, getting the cold stare from her. "You know I hate that fucking pet name. Shit, I hate pet names period."

I can honestly say that its been a while since I read a book with amazing such character chemistry. Ava and Dante are amazing together!!

So if you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, keep you on the edge of your seat, shock the hell out of you and have twist then make sure you get this book on March 2nd.

Dante knows what's it like to have your life ruined by drugs, so it only made sense that he went into a career that was trying to bring these drugs off the street and protect people. When an opportunity arises to go undercover to put a stop to some infamous criminals Dante knows he's the person for the job. But is he really has un-involved as he is trying to tell himself and what happens when he suddenly spots his 'sex buddy' in a place she shouldn't be?

"I grew up with a drug addict and now I take down drug dealers. Dante Santoro, the biggest walking contradiction to the drug world. Nice to meet you."

I had really mixed views about this story. On paper it has everything I normally love in a book, drama, twists, sex, love suspense; so much to keep you reading. However something just didn't connect with me to make me love it, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it because I did.

The characters were great. Dante was a slightly tortured soul but i admired his strength and perseverance to want to make the world a better place. He was cocky, funny and sweet all rolled into one.

Ava was definitely a role model in my eyes. She's confident, brave, in control and a strong woman in a mans world but she's not letting that stop her. I really liked Ava and from the first major scene involving Dante and a pair of handcuffs I just knew I was going to love this sassy woman.

"I always knew growing up I was destined to make something great of myself. I was going to have purpose in this ugly world and bring some beauty into it. I just didn’t know how I was going to do it."

Now the plot; as I stated before it really did have everything. I never saw any of the twists coming so that kept it so entertaining and kept me guessing the whole way through. And the sex scenes were hot! With a lovely romance story thrown in. However Im not sure if it was the writing style or how things were played out but I just didn't find myself feeling loads of emotion, I enjoyed the story I just didn't connect to it like I do with others.

“I’ve never been the romantic type. Hell, I never even considered the thought of a relationship before you. But you changed all that. You changed me. You have made me realize that it’s okay to open up to people and let them in.”

But please don't let that put you off because there is plenty within this story that I know loads of people will love and on top of that there are characters that you will want to read about and you will want to know what's going to happen in their story. Overall an enjoyable read and I will look out for more from this author!

Dante's Redemption is a story that interested me but also had me cringing with the excessive use of words like "shit" and the "f" word in almost every sentence right from the start. The frequency lessened as the story progressed but I seriously fell that the story could have been told without using such words and still be able to impart the needed emotion. When I started the book, I wanted stop when I realized that the story had too many swear words for my taste but still I could see that the story held promise and so I persevered.

The cover is okay and nothing very appealing but the blurb is intriguing and it was the blurb that had me wanting to pick the book up to read.

Jaime Whitley gives an engaging story full of suspense, intrigue and a solid back story which made me feel sorry for Dante and also furious at all the injustice meted out to him. The writing style is simple but with the excessive usage of the swear words, it didn't appeal to me.

The end left me surprised and I think I would like to know what happens next. Overall this is a book that will interest you but only if you are willing to overlook the swear words used. Also the intimate scenes make this book suitable only for adults.

3 out of 5 to it and had the writing been more clean and more expressive I would definitely have given this book atleast 4 stars. For now, it was a promising story but didn't hold me as much as I would have liked.

Dante is set in his ways, no commitments except to his job, until Ava. But when he first meets Ava she is only a booty call, his usual MO, will he be able to see his feelings for Ava in time to make things right??? Will their work & personal life collide beyond repair??? Awesome read!!!
Love the ID channel and this gave me suspense and the whole detective story that I loved!!! I was gifted a copy for an honest review & this will captivate you!!! Definitely add to your to be read list!!!

Sometimes as a reviewer I'm stumped for words, I feel that no matter what I say I won't be able to do the book justice. This is one of them books.

Dante and AVA are the main characters. Both have secrets. Both are a mystery to each other. When secrets are unveiled the story thickens. Loved these two characters.

Really loved this story. Another one sitting read for me. What about that twist. Yikes I so didn't expect that. Doesn't end in a cliffhanger but I'm glad to see there is another book coming later on. Loved it.

I really don't understand all of these glowing reviews. But I can't question them because each person's opinion is their own, and this one's mine. For the most part, with other books my opinions generally line up with the majority of other readers. It totally doesn't on this one.

I had a really difficult time getting into this story. I didn't care for the writing style. I didn't really care about the characters. I didn't believe the relationship between H and h. Well, not at first, when it was supposed to be so hot and heavy. When Dante I really thought Ava was going to run the other way because it felt so out of left field to me and not really where their relationship was headed. I didn't "feel" their love. And then when ... I'm done. Maybe there's some big conspiracy with that and things get worked out in a really great way in the second book, but I don't care enough to want to read the second book.

This book desperately needs an editor, though. At one point, they were in a car, and the guy was using his "imaginary break". I thought he was going to a safe place in his head because she was driving so erratically? I didn't understand at first, until later that paragraph, he was stepping on the "imaginary brake" again (he was in the passenger seat). At another point, she jilted her arm from his hold. That's not what jilt means. Yes, I get the idea, but that's not what jilt means. Most of the story was in present tense, but there were times the author would lapse into past within the same sentence. There were subject/verb agreement issues. Call me picky (go ahead), but these kinds of things pull me out of the story, which I was having a hard time staying in anyway.

I'm disappointed that I didn't enjoy this as much as other readers did, but I guess them's the breaks!

Dante's Redemption is a love story with a twist of OMG what!!

Dante who didn't have a great up bringing turned his life around and made a name for himself in law enforcement.
I could relate with Dante when it came to his childhood and his mother.

Dante never knew what love was until he met Joe and his family. He never actually thought he would fall in love and want to be with that person.

Ava walked into his life and changed everything. Their relationship went from an arrangement to them being together all the time and much much more.

Their banter was great, they always seemed to joke with one another when the other person needed a lift me up. Their sex, love making was refreshing. No harsh "I am going to tie you up and have my way with you". They worked well together when it comes to bringing in their mark.

Secrets are told as lie's are unfolded. Both Ava and Dante kind of get a wake up call.

There is a point in this Dante's story where you will want to get a tissue or two. He comes to terms with his mother, and his feeling for Ava. However the life and job of his career gets in the way and fate steps in.

Like I said there are parts where you will go OMG what did I just read?

You need to get this book really you do. Jaime has done it again. You can add Dante to your list of book boyfriends and Ava to your kick ass book girlfriends.

Dante Redemption is a must read by talented Author Jaime Whitley.

While Jaime brings in hot sex in Dante's Redemption, there is so much more to this story then I could of ever expected.

Do you like mystery, curiosity, trying to solve the puzzle. This is the book.
Dante is an undercover cop who's mission in life is to get the dealers off the streets. With his mom being a dead beat drug addict and him being in the wrong place at the right time in this instance. He got an "adopted" family of a cop's life.
So when the man who raised him like he was his own/ as well as his "boss" signs him to the biggest undercover case. Dante was not prepared for all the surpurise that came with this.
Ava who has been undercover for over two years with a arms dealer, is now meet with some obstacles that she didn't realize would intertwine with her personal life. While Ava is a fiesty hard headed agent who knows how to get her way. She is faced with many new challenges personal and work.
This is a must read, see how this undercover case plays out. Watch how two people put walls up and shut out some of the world fall for one antoher.
The ending was a complete shocker to me, stumped me. Read to find out if it will shock you as well.
Jaime Whitley knows how to capture her readers and keep them on suspense.

I received a copy of Dante's Redemption in exchange for an honest review. This book was MIND BLOWING. Dante and Ava their characters I just fell in love with. With them both having just a sexual relationship neither one knowing much about each other and their lives things really heat up. A real page turner with all the action that is in it and not the sexual part that I am talking about. This is the first book I have read of Jaime's and I love it I can't wait for book 2 cause man oh man I can't wait to see what else lies instore for them.
I have to say there was a couple lines in the book that I really couldn't stop laughing at.
"So Let me get this straight. You're on probation for assaulting a clow?" lol
"I'll see ya later Bozo" lol

"So you were giving me shit about a spatula when you were going to fight with a flower pot?" When I read that my comment was BUDS UP lol

Wow!!!! I don't have words. This book took me on one wild ride. Dante and Ava have so many secrets. Most of them I didn't see coming by a long shot. When it comes to suspense, this is the type of book I want. One where you can't figure it out until the end. One where the writer constantly keeps you guessing, and every time you think you have it figured out...BOOM plot twist!!! I was hooked from the very beginning here. Dante is a hot alpha who will make you swoon, and Ava is the perfect amount of feminine sass.
Now the end... I don't want to spoil anything for you, but OMG!!! I can't even explain the drop that my stomach took when I got to the end. I'm still recovering, and now helplessly waiting for the next installment of this series. Bravo Jamie!!! You knocked it out of the park.

Dante's Redemption...I really enjoyed this book.
Dante and Ava both have "secrets." Their "relationship" is on the carnal level and both seems fine with that arrangement.
Then... things change. They find themselves involved on more than just a sexual plateau and the pages heat up.
Dante's Redemption takes you on a ride. You experience heat, intrigue, love, shock, and despair.
The banter between the two leads is witty and humorous as their relationship progresses. The supporting characters are easy to love or hate, depending on their role.
All in all, a well executed story with just the right amount of romance, heat, and one hell of a twist that will leave you reeling.
I recommend the read!

You first meet Dante as a young child. He has a drug addict for a mom, but unlike most this drives his spirit. Years later he is where he wanted to be in life, but wants more. You get to watch Dante go undercover to bring down bad guys, but along the way we get the very sexy Dante as he has some very steamy moments with Ava, a girl with her own secrets. The story between Dante and Ava is gritty but sexy.

With all the deep, dark criminal activity going on around them you still feel the love but also the uncertainty of how things will turn out for Dante and Ava. Their relationship is fast paced but in their line of work sometimes fast, hard and deep works and they make it work.
This book will leave you wanting more!

WOW....
Ok in this book we have Dante strong and loyal and very determined to be the very best at his job. Then we have Ava full of secrets and has an "arrangement" with Dante long before they really know each other.

I don't do spoilers but I need to say this book had an amazing storyline and it just got better with every page. I absolutely loved the entire book and while the ending left me open-mouthed and needing more, it was fantastically done.

I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next. I am still in book hangover mode from this book, I can't even think about picking up another yet... Very well done!!

I was given an ARC of book. My review will be light because I can't get in depth, because I will give away spoilers. The two main characters are strong willed and determined to do a be good at their jobs. Dante wants to save the world, one drug dealer at a time. Ava is a strong will independent woman. They had an "arrangement" at first, but then crossed paths in a different setting and began to work together. The author keeps the story line flowing. From hotand steamy, to laugh out funny, and questioning what is going to happen throughout. Grab the tissues and hang on. You will truly enjoy this story.

This is the first book I have read by Jamie Whitley and it was wonderful. You have Dante who has grown to be a great man and overcome his past but it completely dedicated to the work and nothing else. He gets his undercover job that he has always wanted so life is great. Along comes Ava who he has an arrangement with and it works well for the both of them. Soon enough he starts having feelings for Ava and things change. This book kept me guessing the whole time on what was going to happen. There was some laughter and some tears and I can't wait for the next book.

One of my top reads of 2015!

I loved this book! It brought out so many emotions and the characters were so well written and believable.

It's hard to really put to much in the review without giving anything away however I will tell you that this story is amazing and you don't want to miss it.

This book is recommended for readers 18+ due to sexual interactions, mild drug use, strong course language and violence.

I was a BETA reader for this book.

I loved this book from page one! Jaime did a wonderful job of making the story flow effortlessly. The chemistry between Dante and Ava is off the charts! Their interaction at times had me laughing, wondering what the hell was next, and even had me wishing I could turn something around for them. This book keeps your interest throughout the entire story and throws in some curve balls that you won't see coming. Jaime knocked it out of the park with Dante's Redemption!

3 1/2 stars....DEA Agent, Dante finally gets his chance to go undercover to infiltrate and bring down a mob boss. Ava, his side piece, unbeknowst to him is an undercover FBI Agent and working on the same case.

There is mystery, intrigue and enough going on to keep you interested. I was surprised at what happened at the end....but that's why we get to stay tune for Ava's Revenge coming in May.

Review written for Naughty Nympho's Book Promotions:
I loved this author's first book, Twist of Fate, so i decided to give this one a try .... and wow ... just WOW !!! It blew me away.
The story line is, as with her first book, very original and drags you in and keeps you there from the first chapter.
The characters are very well written and work together so well.
Ava ~~ wow .... i normally hate women in book especially b****y ones but hell no you cant hate this woman ... she has the right mix of sarcasm, smarts, humor and beauty that she wins you over in micro-seconds.
Dante ~~ I really like how his past is written. He does not have the best childhood, but hes not a jerk because if it. He did what he needed to do to become the best man he can be and I'm just totally in love with him. I cant really say too much because i don't want to give any spoilers but trust me you are going to love both Dante and Ava.
I loved how the two of them come together and become a couple. Its not in your face and the same as 90% of the other book couples out there.
The side characters fit the story very well and are a very big part of the story, they aren't just side characters, they are story line and I really like that about this book. For me, it makes them more than just a side character, but a big part of how the story goes along throughout the book.
The story itself, fabulous, not something I read in every book and definitely not predictable.
I have to say, this book wrecked me. I cant say how or why, but I wont be getting over this one any time soon.
The ending ~~~ HOLY MOLY !! Wrecked !!
I am really looking forward to more from this author, she has amazing talent and im thoroughly impressed with what I have read so far.
I highly recommend this author.

Dante's Redemption was an amazing read. I am still recovering from the high of reading about Dante and Ava's story.

Let me tell you, there were so many unexpected turns in this book. Dante is your hot, undercover agent devoted to cracking down drug dealers in his town. He had a l sexy booty call on speed dial that fit his life just perfect. The last thing he needed with excess baggage of an over obsessed girlfriend. Ava, his booty call, isn't your bimbo with no brains kind of girl. There was way more to Ava than Dante ever expected. I think that is one of the things that kept me glued to their story.

As the story unfolds, Dante is getting closer and closer to taking down Sal, the mobster drug load, the road gets a little complicated with an unexpected twist involving Ava. Ava, they girl he knows absolutely nothing about except how she likes her coffee and what position makes her scream the loudest, ends up being the partner and unexpected lover Dante needed. Ava's involvement in Dante's plans makes the story so much more interesting. Jaime WhitleyDante's Redemption

Just as things are going as planned, the road starts to get bumpy. Suspicions rise, secrets are being revealed, shockers are unleashed. All these things lead to the most unexpected ending full of surprise, tears, and anger. You are going to love this story. 5 Stars!!!!

Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

“Grabbing her by the @ss I pull up, encouraging her to wrap her legs around my waist. I push her up against the wall and kiss along her neck, down to her cleavage. Managing to get the bottom of her dress pushed up, I pull open the fly of my pants and slam into her.”

5 wild stars!!! This book is crazy from the beginning all the way to the end. And by crazy I mean so good!!!

Dante Santoro knew he was destined for great things. Growing up with two dead beat parents, Dante was forced to become an adult before his time. Deciding to change the world, Dante distanced himself from the only life he knew, the life of drugs and crime.

After going through school and training, Dante became a detective in the local police force. Keeping focused on getting drugs off the streets, he limited friends and outside connections.

Finding himself the perfect candidate to go undercover, he never anticipated the one person he thought was safe could jeopardize it all.

Will Dante be able to succeed at making the streets a safer place or will his destiny alter the course of the life he lives forever?

I don’t want to give too much away with my review, so I will just say this…..read this book now!!! What are you waiting for!!! It’s so twisted and so crazy good!! The characters are sexy and the chemistry is off the charts!!! Great book!!!

**I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

What happens when you are born to two people who should never be parents? Parents whose actions cause you to realize the only person you can count on is yourself? You have two choices, you can become just like them, or you can work harder than everyone else, and become the exact opposite of who they are.

Dante had those two choices. He chose to work hard and escape his life. Vowing to clean the streets of the kind of people who threatened to destroy his life, he joins the police force, and becomes a detective.

Ava is a beautiful woman, who is more than happy with her and Dante's "arrangement". But will the secrets they aren't willing to share prevent them from ever learning the truth?

From the quick, witty conversations, Dante's cute pet name for Ava (meant to driver her crazy), all the way to the handcuffs this duo had me on a roller coaster of emotions.

Jamie Whitley wove an amazing story that had me on the edge of my seat, unable to turn the pages fast enough. I can't wait for May for Ava's Revenge!

Never saw that coming!

Dante is a man who refused to become a product of his environment. Not only that, he wanted to make a difference in the world, especially the world that took his mother away from him. As an undercover officer, he's never allowed himself to be tied to anyone. No strings, no attachments, including Ava. The two have an "arrangement", which doesn't include getting to know each other outside of the bedroom...
Dante has been assigned a case. An important undercover assignment. He must assume a new identity and not contact anyone in his previous life... but he just can't stay away from his Pop Tart Ava. Ava has a secret that she never intended Dante to know. One that gets them closer to each other than they ever planned, forcing the terms of their "arrangement" to be changed.
This is the first of Jaime Whitley's books I've read, and won't be the last. The book took turns I didn't expect and kept me hooked until the very end when she surprised me with the ending.
