I am a 42 year old Mother who enjoys reading and writing. I would never presume to imagine my work being anything than palatable - while simplistic and hopefully entertaining.

Growing up with my Grandma who easily became engrossed in a book [to the point where she gave my younger brother permission to set me on fire!!!] and her daughter - my Aunt - I draw a lot of my inspiration from the people and situations I have found myself in...

Poetry has always been my passion and the only way I felt comfortable expressing my emotions - which was a hard thing to do when you grew up in a home where 'talking back' and 'being cheeky' wasn't met with enthusiasm. This lead to at least one poetry award in the past.

I never gave up on my dream, and I write now for the pleasure of writing. The only validation I seek is that of my own peace of mind, I can say: I've done it.

Without the support of my husband and daughter - and the various readers who continue to support me, I may very well not have achieved as little as this... So a big thank you to you too!

The Second Breath Chronicles, starting with Hidden Carmina is a beautiful supernatural story of love. Love for family, for friends and the romance between Liam and Carmina. Fantasy and Romantic readers will enjoy the book.

Editors would say that it is not perfectly edited and I'd have to agree. It needs polishing to make it technically perfect. However, the story alone is enough for me to overlook the errors. I just can't stop turning the pages, wanting to see what happens next. You forget that you're reading. The action is non-stop. There's always something happening and the author keeps you hooked to the story. The concept of the soul-walkers and the robust characters are my favorites. There is no character that's weak, you can relate to them all and they are all made real by the author.

I've spent these past 2 weeks with this series and I've enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to the next.
Highly recommended for lovers of supernatural thrillers and paranormal romance.

Adrian out does herself in this 3rd book!!!

I so love this series. You know it's good when you feel all different emotions, you laugh, cry and hate. This is it, the final battle, but new helpers come along..Carmina has blood sisters!! It's a race to find Dove. But before they do Carmina has to get a hold on her powers. Who will make it through and who will be lost?

A fantastic conclusion to the trilogy. Well worth a read. All those who wanted to decry that Carmina was nothing more than a monster, who pushed her beyond her limits, are about to find out exactly what she is capable of.
Electrifying.
