This is very dated. Despite that I enjoyed the plot which involves blackmail and politics.
Nick is sprung from prison to deliver the payoff on a blackmail scheme. He remains out of prison as he uncovers the people involved in the crime - everyone except the ring leader.
Since someone is killing the accomplices, almost as fast as he uncovers them, he is as risk as well.
This is a very short book, I read it in an evening.
I enjoyed it despite the high body count and look forward to any others in the series that are still out there waiting to be read.
