Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the Goodreads database with this name.
Back to the UK, the book does in fact start with Kate and Jack staring at each other again, but after a certain point Fiona does stop mercifully banging at that door. If book 6 starts by explaining Kate and Geoff have broken up again so Kate and Jack can stare at each other I’m not sure I can bear it.
Gina’s involvement was a bit obvious but well written. Claudia’s death was sad, I think the stage IV cancer shouldn’t have existed as it lowered the stakes.
